AZHAR TI had significant problems when returning my truck rental. My rental number is 72501840. I took several pictures to support this complaint. When I returned the vehicle I went to the designated drop off location and waited for a considerable amount of time watching and listening to one of your employees (called Pravin) talk to his friend on a cell phone and take his time cleaning a returned truck and trailer. When I asked him about checking in the vehicle online he said that wasn't the process to follow and I needed to go inside. When I followed his instructions and waiting in line for 20min the person at the counter (called Tanu) said that I wasn't supposed to be there and I should be outside and the person outside would help. I waited again outside and nobody assisted in the rental. As I was finishing the check in process I complained to Tanu about the wasted time and that I noticed that one of the employees blocked in my personal vehicle. My vehicle was blocked in by the truck BE9554Z (image Uhaul 1). Tanu said that they tell customers to only park in the middle of the space and they aren't responsible for what happens outside that area. I told Tanu that their location has many more rental vehicles than they do spaces in the middle of the lot, and it was unreasonable to expect customers to only use the middle parking. I further said that many other people had parked outside the middle and their vehicles weren't blocked in, and there are other spaces for employees to put the trucks at the sides rather than blocking my vehicle in (image Uhaul 2 & 5). I also said that uhaul trucks were parked in the middle, taking up spaces she was saying customers were supposed to use (image Uhaul 3 & 4). It was one of the empty spaces that an employee (I think called Curtis) moved the truck that was blocking my vehicle (image Uhaul 6). I witnessed Curtis throwing around Uhaul equipment at the north side of the building when I was waiting in the check in line around 9:00-10:00. Your employees are parking their trucks in the middle parking space, yet expecting customers to only use those spaces. When a customer can't park in the middle employees spitefully block in customer vehicles when open parking spaces exist around the lot. This type of treatment is unacceptable. Employees shouldn't block in customer vehicles. They certainly shouldn't block in customer vehicles when they can park truck in open parking spaces. You lot has ample spaces on the sides of the building for employees to leave uhaul trucks, and it's clear that open spaces were present as Curtis parked the truck in one. CUrtis could have done that initially without blocking in my vehicle. Furthermore, when your employees are talking on the phone to friends when a customer is asking for help, it makes the check in process more challenging. This situation is made worse when employees say that check ins should happen inside the building, and when the customer goes inside they employees refuse to help the customer and they have to go back outside. I've very disappointed by the choices of your employees and the resulting problems I faced when checking in my rental. I paid a lot of money to rent a truck and didn't deserve this type of treatment. Curtis should not have blocked in my vehicle or throw around uhaul equipment. Maybe he was having a bad morning but his actions aren't justified. Pravin should not have lied to me about having to go inside to check in. Tanu should have taken responsibility for employees parking uhaul trucks in the middle parking spaces, preventing customers from parking there, and not argued that it was my fault I was blocked in.

ROBERT EI have always been a loyal customer of uhaul. This time, the trailer I rented expired. I called to hope for an extension, but the customer service refused and insisted that I return it. I agreed and returned it on time. But at the same time, my colleague called this address to rent the same trailer. They still have some idle trailers that haven't been rented out. I just want to ask why they can't give me an extension and insist that I must return it.

JOHN LGet the guy who was supposed to be there to get the trailer and hook it up for me to actually be there instead of me having to go find him by banging on locked doors from the outside. I was the only customer at that time. If it was really busy, I'd understand having to wait. The kid who helped me when I brought the trailer back was really good. He saw me pulling into the yard and came running down from what he was doing in a different area to unhook it from my truck and ask me how the trailer was to tow etc. That's good customer service.

Raymond PWhile I was waiting in line, someone else came behind me, but was served for the same thing happened when I went to pick the trailer up and the other people was served first. Non of the workers bothered to ask who was here first. This was very rude and disrespectful.
JASON RHello, I have nothing to add actually. Being on a main road, one would expect the traffic may be of a higher volume but that is the world as it is these days. The one word to describe my experience would be Painless. From the time I got to the office until the time I returned the van, it was a painless exercise. The members of the U-Haul team that I dealt with was very nice and answered all my questions. I look forward to my next encounter :-)

WARREN MThe trailer I rented had not been cleaned from the previous customer there was a full bottle of hot sauce split all over the floor. I had to clean the mess up myself (mopped the inside) as I only discovered it once I opened the trailer after driving to my destination. I wasted 30 mins and cleaning supplies. The location was good enough to credit me back the $20 rental fee but I still paid for the insurance and the rental of the protective pads. Not a great experience though the people at the location are professional and polite.

Fiza assisted me to correct an issue due to the online service and explained the processes which is not done through the online service. Also when processing the online check in the authorization by the online agent took over 5 mins to complete after messaging twice that I was in a rush prior to the response to authorize the equipment rental. Poor online processes and service but great in-person service from the clerks / counter staff !!!

DAVID BI was returning one truck and picking up another truck from location at 1555 warden Avenue, in the time of switching and putting my stuff in the other U-Haul someone parked outside and blocked both entrance and exit for the location and no way left out to take out the truck, my sister car and my trucks were stuck inside and i called U-Haul support for help, they said manager couldn't come at this time as they're not picking up the call, i had to leave all my truck there and my stuff inside as well, I don't had locks at that time and my sister car was also stuck inside, we I got charged doubled for both the U haul, I created a case online and spoke to multiple representative and no one was able to help and everyone just said the Managers have to resolve this, they don't have any power to do anything. instead of giving any compensation i was told that nothing can be done and charging me way over what i was quoted for is hilarious... Extremely dissatisfied with the service and how the operation works..

Process would be much more efficient if done at the teller when they have all the truck details already and not require the client to do all these pictures when that stuff should already be on file. Made a huge inconvenience when I had to do it myself.

DINESH COne week prior to my move, I reserved a 15-foot truck and a dolly. I was assured that all arrangements would be confirmed for moving day. However, upon arrival Saturday morning, the representative, Judy, informed us that no dolly was available, explaining that they were allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Despite my reservation confirmation and repeated inquiries regarding the dolly, she offered no assistance. We were forced to utilize a heavy appliance dolly unsuitable for smaller items, resulting in a stressful and unsatisfactory moving experience due to the representative's unhelpful and unprofessional conduct. The customer service was severely deficient.

I don't understand how you can book online and have the store override the transaction. As I already booked a truck I was forced to take a smaller unit.

My boxes were damp and right from my first day there I had a terrible time trying to close the locker door (I also had two friends attempt to close it and both struggled as well). Additionally, every time I opened the door or shut it a bunch of sawdust (our what I believe to be sawdust would fall on me). The containers were not in good condition and I was not willing to risk having my stuff in there during the Winter months.

DAVIDALAN L | Overall ExperienceI was given an all-in price on the phone and I arrived with my own lock which was a high quality lock. When I came in to rent the van body, I was told I was required to purchase and use a Uhaul lock. That lock was junk and did not even secure through all three portions of the van body door fastener (but my own lock did). The staff were rude on several occasions. additionally, I was taken for the first time, on a golf cart, to see the unit, the driver smashed the roof of the cart on the opening garage door and debris flew at me. The ‘gold’ lock that goes on the left side of the unit is also a joke. One swing of a tack hammer would open it. Obviously this is just a means of pressuring people into paying more for 24 hour access in addition to forcing people to buy a crappy uhaul lock. The location is not secure and my unit leaked, damaging a $4000 mechanical massage chair. I have, over the years, rented many, many uhaul trucks, mostly for business purposes, but sometimes for personal use (as I did to fill up my vanbody storage rental). I did not rent from uhaul when I emptied it out. Because of your unfair, gauging policies, rude staff, inadequate facilities and the generally poor service (staff would not even provide me a paper receipt a email only) uhaul has lost my business permanently. Your service is terrible!
