As usual, Jasmine and her team go above and beyond to make our U Haul experience the best! We have U Haul depots that are closer to our location, but we prefer to drive a little farther because of the service and peace of mind we get dealing with the Welland Avenue staff.

The lock didn’t work and the gas was low so I had to fill it which wasn’t ideal. However the representative who was the lady with the red hair unfortunately I don’t remember the name but she was extremely professional and courteous and did a great job and saved the experience. Only because of how she saved the experience do I give it 5 stars!

The only concern was the tire's and rim's the lug nuts were very rusty and did not to appear like they had been serviced in a long time I thought they are supposed to check the torque of the nuts

Rented a trailer. My electrical connection had a broken tab inside. Without a pause the lot attendant replaced it and had me rolling. They didn’t charge for the repair and were happy to help. Excellent customer service all around.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Cargo van I rented was clean and drove fantastic. I originally wanted a pick up truck, but they were all rented and I didn’t reserve one. The cargo van actually worked out better with my situation of loading and not having it in sight with the items safely locked inside.

I had inadvertently ordered a hand truck during the online reservation. For some reason, your agent said he was unable to credit me for that item when I told him I did not want it. I did not press the issue, but it seems to me that a) there is something wrong with your system if you cannot issue a partial refund of b) there is something wrong with your training if your staff do not know how to do this.

The young man at the counter was unfriendly to the point of being surly. And he was extremely slow even though I had pre-registered the rental the day before and he knew I was in a hurry to get underway. It seemed that he must hate his job. Bad attitude and zero people skills! The truck itself was excellent, as was the woman who received and inspected my truck when I returned it.

The two staff who checked me into the rental were fantastic! They were super helpful, courteous, and just genuinely awesome people. On top of that, my drivers license unknowingly was expired, they helped me find a location to have it renewed and I was back 15 minutes later able to rent the cargo van and get on my way.

Snow blocking my unit I asked to remove it because I tried and Snow there for so long it turns into ice also asked for help to remove the Snow because it turns to ice and I will told just to work around it because all the Snow plow are getting fix so I asked to help me load the stuff in my and they refused

The Welland Ave. Self Storage location's staff was amazing! They helped make my truck & tow dolly returns quick, smooth and convenient. When I needed a little storage space, they were very helpful and able to facilitate my needs immediately. GREAT staff and service!

What we really liked was using U-Haul cartons. We used mainly small & medium. The unit is designed so that you Stack small, then medium then small in the first layer, then stack them almost to the ceiling so you maximize all the boxes from a 6X12 trailer plus you have room for a desk, chair & 2 end tables, 2.lamp tables & our ladder needed to stack boxes to the ceiling. You have organize your load to use both trailer & storage unit efficiently. Buy the right cartons to save money

We had a storage unit for almost 10 years and never opened it. I will say that the amount of damage both from water and from vermin was minimal - we were very impressed. My issue was with one of the employees, I'm not sure if she was the manager but in my 4 dealings with her each was disappointing and her level of professionalism was poor. On one occasion she stood with her back to me for almost 5 minutes, and after several attempts to get her attention she said "I see you, I'm busy putting on a band-aid". She could have led with that rather than making me wait. Another time she was on her phone texting, possibly for business and ignored me and I had to wait until someone else came in the shop to serve me. Another time she was eating and ignored me and I had to wait for the next attendant to serve me. The final time, she was busy talking with another employee about personal matters and I had to wait until another employee (he was very helpful and professional) to come into the shop to help me. Again, if she was busy, a simple "i'm on my break - so and so will be right with you" would have sufficed. It just seems like customers are inconveniencing her. After spending probably 15,000 over the years for storage fees, a bit of customer service shouldn't be too much to ask for should it?

I could not open the door to my unit as i am a disabled senior. I went back into the store to get help. He came out, struggled to get the door open, and even to close it. He even mentioned about the door being stiff. No offer was made to oil it . When I came back later, my husky friend had trouble opening and closing the door. I was upset because I had asked them to call me when another locker opened. After waiting a month, I called myself and they said they had ONE left. I hurried in to hear another person renting a l9cker. People see old people and just ignore them, I always had good service 0reviously, maybe he didn't care as it was a cold windy day. Thanks for your time.

My experience was good whenever dealing with staff in person, they were helpful and competent. My main disappointment is that I could never get through to the office by phone (over 10 attempted calls at different times over a week). As a result I have an outstanding accounting issue that hasn't been addressed.

I had no problem at all with the staff, they went above and beyond for me!!! Especially Sam the manager. However I will be lodging a full complaint about the two units that I rented!! The one unit which I kept all my furniture in my couch there was a piece about 2 inches long eaten by mice this couch I only purchased three months before I put in storage. The other unit was totally infested with mice and there was a leak in the right corner at the top all the way along the unit all the boxes were soaked and moldy all my clothes were damaged my vases were damaged and the mice had eaten through everything. There was absolutely no perishable goods in that unit there was no reason for mice to be in there!!!I am very disappointed with that I lost a lot of property that meant things to me and because of that storage unit I no longer have them.

Service is great. But I think that they should prorate as well. I only had my things in for a month and a half but I had to pay another full month so I lost out on $53 because they do monthly. Sometimes people find places to live before the end of the second month. I really recommend prorating for this reason.
