I had a VERY huge mistake made that completely screwed up my rental. When I picked up my rental, i asked if there was a closer return location to manhattan from what they originally booked for me. The agent at the desk said I could return in Chelsea Manhattan. Seeing that the location closed at 7pm I asked if I could drop it off after that and she told me 100% - just drop the keys in the drop box. I asked to confirm this and she confirmed. Well, when i went to return the car at midnight that evening, the sign at the Uhaul in Chelsea told me there was no drop off. Moreover, i wasn't allowed to park this vehicle on the streets of manhattan. I "chatted" with your agent on the app because I was desperate for help after a 16 hour move and the agent could only extend the return time but not tell me what on earth to do with a Uhaul in manhattan at midnight. I was exhausted, my son fell asleep in the truck and I'm sitting there with a truck I can do nothing with because I wasn't going to Jersey City at 12:30 am and try to get back to Manhattan from there. That mistaken advice was extremely costly to me and your phone agent could not help.

jared wThe truck appeared clean at first glance, but once I started driving, it became clear that it wasn’t. There was a significant amount of dust inside the cab, along with old molded fries and food debris under the seats. The constant vibration and loud engine noise made it feel like I was operating equipment at a construction site. The vibration was so intense that my body still felt like it was shaking even after I stopped driving. Since this was a long-distance trip, the overall experience was extremely uncomfortable. This truck is also a gas guzzler even when maintaining and average speed as recommended.
