Nichole BMake sure trucks have gas. Gave me a truck said 8th of tank. Was no line showing 8th. So literally made me get gas before I drove it to anywhere. The truck drove like crap. Drives like a van. Wtf no way did it drive like a van. Vehicle needs fixed. Couldnt go 40 without the damn truck shaking back and forth from a messed up engine or something.

PAMELA KHonestly the worst part of the experience was the app. I had to go inside to pick up the truck when the app did not work at all to do the automatic pickup. For the drop off I ended up using the mobile site because the u haul app on android would not work and it was after hours so I needed to do it that way.
Heath HThe person didn't even know how to connect the trailer... I had to stop in the parking lot next door and fix it after I was told "You good". I'm pretty sure my race had something to do with it, like I was being sabotaged.

Amber DMy uhaul 🚛 trucks' left door hand just need to be oiled. It was very hard opening and closing my left door my tires was all muddy before I got into the truck 🚒 when I inspected the vehicle the truck. That was trash inside the truck when I inspected the cleanliness.

Tracy BI filtered the storage search for outdoor units only and the search results showed indoor units. I assumed it would only show me outdoor units but gave me options for indoor which I didn’t notice until I got to the storage facility. There weren’t any outdoor units available at this location. Indoor units shouldn’t have shown in the results in the first place. When I arrived the staff member looked annoyed I was even there asking. Had me feeling like I was the bad guy for asking to switch to an outdoors unit. It came off rude and had me feeling really uncomfortable.

LaToya FFirst of all the computers were down and been waiting 30 mins and gas wasn't full but when I return the truck I full the tank up because I'm a nice person but I went over 20 miles which 6 more miles they charged me for 6 more miles when I waited 30 mins because computer down and I dropped truck off in full gas tank when I left only close to full and I don't get a discount for the 6 miles? Won't be going back there again ever. Disappointed.

Crystal RTruck interior filthy. Brought truck home, cleaned and disinfected cab. Left front tire was down about 15 lbs of air, filled tire with air. Drivers side mirror was loose, and could not be used while driving or parking. Truck had the Oil Change Needed light on, so display was locked on this error message. Initial pickup was ok, but would prefer employees not be using personal cell phones to take photos of my DL. Return went better--the guys were friendly, quick, and helpful. I prefer to use locations that are staffed at the counter, as mobile pickups are hit or miss, and rather than chancing a one-way--picking up in Columbus, OH and driving back, I was willing to pay more to not be inconvenienced by a problem with a pickup 100 miles from home. Next time, I'll try Penske.

So went in and got attitude, very unfriendly! Not professional at all. Was treated like an inconvenience, even tho, there were 3 employees and only one customer. Me. Girl who reserved truck was very professional, and semi friendly. She was good.
PHILLIP PTo whom it may concern, I rented a Uhaul with this location on January 7, 2024 until January 12th for an out of town move. Everything was fine at the pickup until we began to drive. The tread on the tires were very bad which caused constant air leaks. Also, causing me to stop multiple times to continuously put air into the tires which should’ve already been checked prior to renting the Uhaul and due to the constant unnecessary stops it caused me to come out of more gas money than anticipated. This is very unprofessional of a company whom is supposedly responsible for making sure all their rentals are good on maintenance (including tires) - so for future reference to anyone whom is looking to rent a Uhaul from this location please assure all maintenance is good within your rental or you will be coming out of extra time and money due to the inconvenience of this company.

Rashawn VWhen I picked up the truck, they informed me that the 20' truck I had requested was not available and that I would be using a 26' truck instead. They then handed me the keys and told me the keys went to the wrong truck. After getting the right truck, navigating it around the storage unit area to get to my unit was nothing short of a hassle, especially with all the busted-up trucks and vans lining the fence along where my storage unit was. Finally, after I cleared it out, I received no notification via phone, text, or email that my rental of the storage unit had been closed out.
Brad RWhen renting trailers let people know ahead of time to return it to its slot & not to the return check in location. SO, you don't have to back it all the way back to the slot then maneuver it into place... Also have those drop off slots be pull through., so you do have to nearly jackknife the trailer to get it into its slot because of the trucks parked in front of it.... That would make this location a more pleasant and convenient experience.

I see no reason for this as it was a smaller unit, it was not in the climate controlled area, there was no type of power to the unit. I emptied the unit and moved everything to another facility with a unit double the size and $50 cheaper in price. Yet still in a secure facility.

I hired a moving company to move me out and they couldn’t even get to my unit because of all the wrecked Uhaul vehicles strung out everywhere. When the service manager was asked to have the vehicles moved, he refused causing a delay in the company I hired to move me from getting the job done! If it weren’t for the awesome ladies of the rental/storage department going above and beyond to help get the vehicles moved, I would’ve incurred extra time charges from the moving company. As much as they helped, I’m still going to have to say that I will not be recommending this location to anyone.

I got your truck and 2 days later came down with covid. Had truck 18 days but communicated with you. Made it to Akron and being still sick could not go further. Changed destination from Georgia to Akron and was charged $800 plus and then $1,700 plus To go 200 miles. You could give no consideration to me for uncontrollable sickness. I was raped by U-Haul. All thru pandemic I did my part but so many took advantage an we're unethical. The kid that checked me in was rude and disrespectful. Can't prove it 100% per say but was harassed by some staff and experienced gang stocking. Have pictures of cars at U-Haul were same cars following me. Was advised by attorney to move my belongings to different storage company but they are all the same. I think inside my unit was being video taped - and I am not being paranoid. Almost on every arrival, a siren would go off saying I was trust passing and enter the code and saying I was being video taped. Approached management but they were no help from beginning to end of my stay. Complained about all the cuts in the fence. 5. I came in winter. The units are old and dirty. I left it cleaner than when moved in. 6. 3 different people told me they had stuff missing. I am ocd and noticed things moved in my unit. So, between possible theft and the harassment, NO I would not recommend to someone I cared for.

Also, it would have been extremely nice if there were dumpsters available to put trash in (possibly even just a recycle pile for boxes/cardboard, papers, etc.) especially since I felt that the monthly cost was high and it would be a reasonable service to provide.

One employee answered her personal phone in the middle of helping a customer after the customer waited in line for almost an hour. I had a reservation for 1:00 I did not leave the facility until 3:40. The employees were arguing with eachother in front of the full line of customers also there was no manger on the shift. All 3 employees abandon the inside of the store multiple times. This occurred on May 30,2020
