Irecieved car (van) with a littlebit above 3/4 of fuel, driver side bottom mirror was cracked , internal side back door handle is brocken - the agent didnot notify me about those issues, but most painfull part was a return, it ttok me about 50 minutes to complete return of the car , APP as agent recomend me - didnt work , i called custumer service (~20 minutes wait) then my contract couldnt be found by searching a phone number, then Custumer service agent guided my to make Checkout thru online website , reception in the store sore area isnt so great so it took about another 20minutes , then i needed to find key drop off "slot" another 10 minutes - a little reccomendation please apply sign/sticker - "key return" .....

Waited over 2 hours because they decided to park truck in front of the drop off zone so it was blocked in. When workers got there not one bit of rush to make things right. Absolutely terrible experience stay away from the Belmont u-haul

I ordered a 20' truck online, but when I went to pick it up I was told I could not take it one way. The only truck available was a 10'. I took the 10' but could not complete the job. The one-way was only about 60 miles. In the past this did not happen, so next time I need a truck I will look for another place to rent.

Equipment was clean but I found out that the blinkers and brake lights didn’t work. I reported this issue when I returned the vehicle, and the attendant reported it right away.

I was quoted one price which was also on the display board behind the counter but I was charged a higher rate for my storage unit. The desk associates could not override that $amount and when we spoke to the manager, he said he would not honor the in person quote nor the posted amount on the display board. BAD costume service!

I reserved a 20 ft truck over a week before but received a much larger truck. It was way too big for my needs and got stuck in my driveway. I have had success in the past with uhaul and driving nearly across the entire country but this last experience was awful.

The personal overcharged $6 for gasoline and I returned the van clean and neat and filled up with even more gasoline than how I received it. I think this is unfair because I returned the van with more gasoline and still got charged a fee for gasoline, I told the employees and they refused to refund me that fee. I can understand if I were to returned the van with less gasoline than the amount received but that was NOT the case, so why would they charged that gas fee? Overall, I think this is a rip off and that people should only be charged for fair fees. Not going back to this location anymore.

Unfortunately the van was pretty dirty, i guess it’s to be expected but the steering wheel was sticky same as the floor a d the dash. Like someone spilled something and no one cleaned it just let it dry. The car was parked on the garage slope, so the gas sensor said it was full, but as soon as I pulled out the car only had 2/3’s of the tank full. Great way to deceive your customers in filling up your tank more. The airbags sensor went off and i couldn't change the dashboard to verify the millage i consumed. I just had to take your word for it. Over way below average experience, borderline suspicious and taking advantage of your customers.

I called and specifically asked for a truck with newer mileage. They told me the truck that is reserved for me has 17K miles. When I showed up, they gave me one with 110k miles. The manager had a “I don’t care attitude”.

Flat tire on truck 3 hrs into 14 hr drive. Took 2 1/2 hrs off scheduled arrival. Could not get a ANY human help on any Customer Service phone number. All Robots! Had to drive to rental location to get any help. Very frustrating !

The right mirror of our truck was held together with tape and moved while driving so that we could not see anything which made it dangerous to change lanes or turn right. Someone had to always reposition the mirror. Otherwise the truck was fine, the staff helpful, the return easy enough and the value for money great. We are likely to come back.

Belmont Uhaul is great. No wait, helped me get trailer on, flexible, answered the phone on first ring when I had a question on returning. After hours return very convenient. I've had to rent trailers a bunch recently, and the people at Belmont Uhaul have been SUPER every time.

We purchased locks from u-haul for the storage unit that suddenly got jammed one day and stopped working. We did not get any help from the u-haul staff and had to arrange a locksmith to break the lock and get new ones.

The cleanest and nicest storage facility I have been to. Staff is friendly. Parking can get tricky and if you don’t pay attention, you could get blocked in at the loading ramp due to truck drop offs. Just be aware.

It was almost impossible to get ahold of a actual person onsite. I closed out my unit with a rep on the 1800 number. Was explained the $40 fee for not turning the access card in to the office. But still had to call a second time because I got a bill emailed to me for the charges for the next month.

I did all my original reservations on line. I signed up for the truck and storage unit. I have never rented a storage unit before and didn’t live in the area so I relied on the people making the reservations advise me on the size of the unit and any important information, like closing time. Issues that happened: we arrived to unload the I haul truck at 2 minutes to 5 and they said they were closing and couldn’t stay to do the paperwork since it was our first time to use the storage unit, no one told me that and we could have done the paperwork for the storage unit at the time we picked up the truck, but he never mentioned it. We then had to find a place to laid the filled truck because he wouldn’t even let us park it there. We then had to hire back the people that we had hired to unload the truck for the next day. The next day when we came back, they didn’t have the storage unit so reserved available, they rented it out since I made the reservation. They did find another one for us, unfortunately it was too small and I asked the person I made the reservation with what size they recommended for a one bedroom worth of furniture and boxes, I had no idea. It all fit in the truck I rented so i didn’t question the size of the unit she recommended, but the contents wouldn’t fit so they had to get me another one which was I’ve $100 more. To their credit, they are giving us the first month free for the inconvenience, but this was a very frustrating experience that could have been avoided with better communication on their part.

I needed a storage space. Only 2nd floor units were available and no elevator. I would have had to carry everything (too heavy) up a narrow cement staircase. Not acceptable.

When I complained that the elevator wasn't working in the storage facility and asked what I should do as I had big things to move your representative stated and I quote "that's your problem". I will never use UHaul and I have told that story to everyone who would listen.

i rented Uhaul storage since 2009 and moved out 2 days ago. Half of my valuable stuffs damaged with water cuz of broken pipe Uhaul failed to informed me and just noticed it few months ago.
