This place is always well cleaned staff is very helpful and friendly, and the online check ins are very cool. If you have your own lock you basically can get a storage unit without ever having to interact with anyone. :)

Kenneth KThe truck we RESERVED was not available. I received a text the morning before we were to pick it up that one was available 90 miles away and I could pick it up there. I said I don’t think so. The company then went and got a truck for me. However, I reserved a 10’ truck; and received a 26’ truck. Fortunately we had someone who knew how to drive a truck that large. We were told they would charge us the same price as the 10’ truck and give us a $100 credit for gas. That also did not happen. It was not a pleasant experience. Why “reserve” a truck if they aren’t going to have it?
BRIAN BI went to the location I selected and was told they moved my reservation to the interstate location. I then drove all the way to that location just to be met be a very unapproachable girl named Annabell or Abigail. I told her they moved us without telling us and she started arguing with me. Saying "you got a text." I said " the only text I got was for free storage." That was later proven true by Mirah at the scheduling office in Fargo. At this point I'd given up on any customer service when I looked at the manager and he saw no problem with the girl belittling us. I said " just give me the Uhaul." She then said " I'm not giving you a uhaul." So I asked for the corporate number. I called and talked Mirah and told her what happened. She called the Uhaul on interstate and told them to give us the Uhaul. After about 20 min more of trying to pick up thru the app and Mirah on her end we finally got a truck number. We then searched around to find the truck because no customer service. After finding it. It was unlocked but no key inside. So back to the office where they wouldn't check us in to try and get a key. Again met by unapproachable Annabelle or Abigail I asked " do you have the key?" She smirks and replied " it's in the back." I though of course it us because why wouldn't it be? Finally on out way with a nearly empty truck. First stop gas station after already wasting 2 hrs trying to get the truck. Mirah offered a free extra day which was nice if she would of actually done it. I had to then stop unpacking this morning to once again call and see why the extra day wasn't added. I got Mirah boss . She added the extra day then. All on all a total nightmare. I'll probably never rent a Uhaul again. This is the second one in less than a yr. I should add. Last Oct I rented a truck and car hauler. The kid that put my car on and strapped it down didn't do it right and when I made my first stop the straps were not attached. So moral of the story the interstate location needs some work. Lots of retraining and possibly different employees that can understand how to treat people. The manager is a waste of calories. When I rented last October I had to watch him eat while checking me in. Real classy.
Jason MAll in all using Uhaul was a great experience. I wanted a good vehicle and they delivered. I signed on for Loadshare to haul a trailer for part of my journey and save a few dollars. Just when I was getting ready to stop for the night (10 pm) I lost a tire on the trailer. Called it in and they had me up and running in under 1 and 1/2 hrs. You can't beat that. Made to my destination on time. I recommend Uhaul.😁

Laci BI rented a trailer and returned it in less than 24 hours. I was told that the rental was kept for more than 24 hours. Not true. I was told that I would be only charged for 1 day. Not true. Not only did they charge me for the extra day, they also charged me for and after hours fee. Even though I dropped it off during business hours. What a scam.

About one thing or another with our storage unit. The manager there had no customer service skills and whatever you do do not give them a credit card.. they charged me 2 as much as my bill was they also put un authorized charges on your card without any notice. Employees would not take cash and insisted on cards. The place is a rip off

GREG FMaybe have a "Qualified" General Manager that is helpful and knows how to talk to their customers! How dare Kyle w try to insult me and my family from the address we moved from. We lived by registered sex offenders is why we rented the U-Haul and he had the audacity to say we are low life's because he knows about that area. We are new to North Dakota and didn't know about the memorial highway triplex situation. And then he somehow knows we bought a mobile home for about 1,100 and he throws in our face that he has a bigger better home than WE could ever afford and he is 24 with 3 kids and he has more than we do. He kept asking for our age which was so inappropriate and none of his business! We got anger after they said they would charge us for another day and we could bring it back before the store closed. We were harassed and they threatened to report the truck stolen if we didn't take it back now! We had half our stuff in the back of the U-Haul heavy appliances (didn't receive the appliance dolly I ordered)and no help to get everything out. This experience was horrible and uncalled for. I don't think we'll be renting through U-Haul anymore.

It’s hard to say how much gas I have to put back in to get a half a tank when I drop it back off and so you’re taking even more money from me because I’m putting more gas into the vehicle that I actually used. If your trucks had a full tank when we pick it up then it’s a lot easier to go and fill that tank with actually the amount of gas that we used and so a full tank is brought back to you guys. When you do this, then you kind of are double charging us because we get charged for mileage for the truck and then we go to put gas in the vehicle kind of guessing to get it back to a half a tank and then putting more gas into the vehicle then when i picked it up cuz u are guessing to get it to half a tank again.

JEFFREY BI recently rented trucks a few weeks ago on 2 separate days. Each day there was a new person working which is fine but each employee has their own set of rules it seems. Now I have rented from here many times and its always the same thing I'm told different information from each employee when it comes to the billing process, how long you can rent it, or if you have to buy the insurance or not. Whenever I try to inform them that's not what the last employee told me they will always say well the person had it wrong! Now there are some good laid back employees that are good to deal with but there's also employees would talk to you a kid and this is a bother to them. In the past they have over charged me and it took a while but i eventually got reimbursed after talking to a few different employees. I'm pretty sure I've been overcharged again but I'm not going through the hassle again but this will be the last time renting from here.

LARRY WThe guy at counter would not answer questions in a nice way and was rude. Milage out on vehicle when I rented was 132364 and they put it 132352 and charged me extra for 12 miles. I would recommend not to trust those guys at desk speciallly at bismarck ND location on interstate and make sure you call the guy to look at the mile correctly on the vehicle and take a photo of it with them. He did fraud to me.

The employees including the managers and supervisors are incredibly rude, hostile, and honestly are thieves. I have 2 storage units under one name, which is very confusing for the uneducated people at U-haul, and when I make a payment on 1 unit, they apply that payment to the other unit instead.And vice versa, they do that so that neither unit will be paid completely in full.And then they charge both units with late fees. I Have brought this all to the attention of multiple supervisors which has gotten me absolutely nowhere.Instead , I have been made to feel like i'm the idiot when all I want to do is wonder why it is so difficult to understand two units , one person. Not to mention my cash payments that unfortunately I did not get a receipt for which is my fault for trusting this business.But part of that cash payment went into an employee's pocket.And I know this for a fact because they took that amount they put in their pocket and subtracted that from what I gave them.And that is what they put in their computer system as my payment for my unit. Which then just caused multiple late fees and when I asked another supervisor how they run their business this way. I have to this date.Never received an apology for the way they have treated me for how they have.Put blame on me for everything and have locked me out of my storage unit twice for absolutely no reason. I have always paid my bill in full on the due date.Or before sometimes I would make a Partial payment earlier in the month to Lower the amount I would need to pay later on that month. That's super confusing for the moron's at U-haul because When I make a partial payment 3 weeks early They look at that and tell me that I have A past due amount and they locked me out of my unit.Now you explained to me why they would do this? I have Noticed things inside of my unit In different spots So I know somebody else has been inside. They have put cleaning fees on my acdon't.They habeen nothing but extremely unhelpful.And very, very rude.I would never recommend u haul to anybody that I know including people I don't even like. The next day I went into the office and they did not know why there was two locks on the unit. They tried blaming my husband and I said he wouldn’t do that. They told me they would have to charge me $50 to remove it, even thou I did not place the lock on there and have no idea how an extra lock got place on my unit. Even thou it was a uhaul lock they provide to renters. I asked maybe if it got placed on there by accident but they said there are no notes or anything they can find and I will have to pay the $50. I ran home to grab my wallet once returning they told me the guy was no longer there to remove the lock till the following day. So I got charged another month and now have to pay $50 on top of that to remove a lock I did not place. I got a phone call the following day saying the lock wa are moved that afternoon around 11am. I got off work and was there about 5pm get to my unit and both locks were still on one was damaged and it was my lock. The man came around the corner and I told him you are cutting the wrong lock. He told me the staff told him that lock and I specifically told them which lock. He looked at both locks and said they will both have to be removed anyways. So we waited for both locks to be removed even thou they said it had already been done. I had removed all my things that night and let the office know I want moved out of the system. He said he was not able to do it that night that it will take two days. I called corporate office three days later after moving out due to Bismarck location not picking up my phone calls just to find out they had moved me out of the system that day. I am very upset with how things had transpired and how the customer service there was handled. The front desk man did not care I was being charged did not care I was upset and did not have the time to care for his customers.

That's transaction fraud and if I had done that to U-Haul I would be arrested. That's illegal and he charged me cause I was in the wrong size storage and THEY are the ones who assigned it to me. Caused me to have to pull out and now my stuff is outside somewhere. Bad moves on U-Haul.. bad. I'm disappointed because the system is great but when decided to move in , I did it with a certain budget in mind, then after a couple of months, it goes up$30+ dollars and Kyle said it was MY fault!! Excuse me but I don't assign myself the room if my choice. No apologies from anyone, no customer options , no diligence to fix and nonprofessional from the general manager. Let me tell you, the store is always a reflection of the manager. I called customer service at U-Haul and the things I was told would be done in my behalf,was a lie. No one looked into it and now I'm about to lose everything I have. Thanks Kyle for lying and being a let down.

That being said I really do expect a refund on the truck rental at least but other than that the facility looks good it's convenient stuff like that but I shouldn't have to do your snow removal twice I didn't have to ask questions or I shouldn't have to sit there till 9:30 on customer service wondering why nobody will help me or why I just can't open up a customer ready locker and put my stuff in there right away instead has told I had to wait by your customer service so that took the next day which it snowed which I had to work which pushed everything behind and it cost me tell me about $500 in wages so but if you count the truck I think we'll be good and then I'll probably refer you thank you

Due to a 2010 back surgery, I had to hire movers to remove my items from a lower unit at $127.50. Uhaul needs to offer more support to its stores in situations like this. As a former call center supervisor, there is no good reason for such slow action, the elevator is in your advertisements. Expenses are part of doing business, and response times to issues are noticed by customers.

Temperature control statement is a reach as it was really cold in the winter and hot in the summer in there. I was on vacation one time this past summer and forgot to pay my unit. I was like 2 days late, that's when you guys forced a payment through eventhough I don't have my card on file with you.... weird huh. I had the money that's not the issue. Issue is someone had my card number there, and that's what I tell peoeple when asked about storage with you guys.. . Cost way to much and their employees will have access to your card number. I just got a 10'x16' storage unit from your competitor for $65 a month.. Much better deal.

We reserved a 10x10 unit and since he gave our unit away, he gave us 2 5x10 units stating we wouldn't pay extra and they "are the same square footage". When it came to pay rent, we were getting charged for 2 5x10s instead of a single 10x10. We tried for 3 days to contact him, and never actually did get to talk with him. The issue was solved without us ever talking to him. When I moved out of the first 5x10, I did so online. It stated that it would be pending general manager approval for up to 48 hours and he never did approve the move out. When we moved out of the second unit, we talked to a very polite and helpful female worker who was able to move us out of both units. The entire process of getting the units and trying to pay rent was stressful and frustrating. We won't be using U-Haul again as long as the same general manager is there.

Uhaul advertises safe clean secure. Not secure at all. I cleaned my unit when I moved out. There is a large water puddle out side of my unit in the hall. I informed staff and they just said it's always there. It has been there for two years.

The other was the access key, takes some learning with the many card swipe units available so a tutorial would have been helpful. Then when I got my uhaul I was told to call and talk to a staff member at the storage location. I called and talked to a guy saying I will need storage in two days I'm driving up from idaho and I was told to call by uhaul to make sure there will be space the guy I talk to chuckled and said they will have space. I got to the storage and said I was told you guys will have room for my stuff when called the guy said ok. I told him what I was driving and asked what I would need he said he will only have 2 large units which will only fit my first truck. I then said well what can be done about the second truck. He then said I don't know what it will fit in I only have the small units left. I ask how many I will need to fit my truck load in. He said I don't know. I was like so you don't know what your storage units hold. He said yes but I don't know what you are needing storage so I can not say if it will fit. And then said I do not like your attitude. At this point I was still calm just talking harshly because the agent was not even making an effort to help me. But after he don't want to assist and didn't want to listen to misidentified or my frustrating experience. I then said oh OK let me tell you why I'm frustrated explained the canceled ubox and then the call that I made earlier. He then said but did you make a reservation. I'm like I did not say the word reservation but I spoke to someone saying want I need and when and when I got off the phone I thought it was taking care of. I then asked again what I need for my to trucks at this point he says I will not service you you need to leave. I was like really you have not done anything have not answered any of my questions and are completely un willing to help me I asked for the manager that was not there he gave me a card and told me to call the manager. I asked to use a phone to so since there was one right there oh and the. He finally did something and called the manager on his phone. Which the manager was not going to be in until 2pm I was frustrated at this time. And still continue to ask what I would need he still said I do not know what your hauling so I can not help you. At this point I had verbally ask if he is going to ask what I'm hauling so I can get help. He then said I don't know what you want from me. Really I only have been asking the whole time. So I said slowly are you going to ask me what I'm uhauling so you can help and actually help me. He then after the long time ever just trying to get some assistance said I will give you the 2 box to start with and then you can come back and order more if need be ..... so I said thank you that is all I want this whole time is some help and some effort on you part and this whole issue could have been resolved.

And then I finally closed me storage with them last month and now almost 2 weeks later he has charged me a " $25 cleaning fee" on my card which was only removing a 2 queen size mattresses. When I was closing out my account I had told the young man who closed my account for me they were in there and I couldnt get them out by myself because I am 8 and a half almost 9 months pregnant now and he said he would take care of that for me. Now to see Kyle is charging me $25 for that is ridiculous. This storage is way over priced and the manager, Kyle, is not fit to be running businesses where he can just rip people off like that and feels like he can do as he pleases with others money. Especially during this pandemic. He is a awful and I hope he gets replaced or demoted overall. This storage has so much more ability to get customers if he wasn't such a a**hole and money hungry
