I had a easy time reserving a truck, checking it out, and returning it. I've rented uhaul trucks many times over the years, and the local facility in Bismarck is a good store to work with.
Charged me for furniture pads that I didn't use, truck was parked in a back row and I hard to find it then back it out past other trucks, I had to wait for the windows to defrost, truck was dirty inside and it only had a quarter tank. I told them to sweep it out but I still had to sweep it out when I got it home. I also git a light on the dashboard. Not sure what it was for but when I told them,they didn't seem to care. The truck clearly wasn't ready for anyone to use.
Quick service and very professional. I can't remember his name but was a very nice young man. He definitely knew what he was doing. Again THANKFUL.
They should be trained in the equipment they said the van would fit everything that I told them well it don't not fir half what I had
Make after-hours drop off returns easier! Was really hard to find the key drop box in the dark, it looked nothing like the description in the instructions, and the electronic prompt system was faulty. It kept prompting for information that wasn't actually needed for the drop off return.
Nothing. Employees were friendly and helpful. Equipment was well maintained.
In and out no difficulty
I wasn't impressed with the return process. i returned the truck during business hours and followed the instructions to stay with my equipment until someone came out. It was at least ten minutes of waiting around before I was finally helped. Maybe next time I'll try the automated return. Pick-up went pretty smoothly though and I was on my way in maybe ten minutes total.
People working at this location could have been more friendly.

I'm not one to normally complain but this was terrible. start to finish. The truck didn't run well at all barely started each time. When I returned it the guy just pissed at any question i had. An then was charged 28 bucks! Even though I brought the truck back at half a tank as was told! Not coming back again!
Great service by the only employee on staff, he worked hard to help everyone waiting in line.
The van didn't have any pads and I was charged for them and the dolly wasn't even where it was supposed to be, also I swept the van out and was still charged $50
Staff seemed bothered when picking up. Different staff when dropping off and was a lot nicer when I told him I was having issues doing the online drop off. Seem to be no covid procedures or preventions in place other than a sign asking customers to stay away from each other and plastic barriers for the workers. Neither worker wore a mask and was not informed whether or not the truck interior had been disinfected between uses.

The running light didn't work on the auto transport. They had to send road side assistance to fix it. When they finally got the running lights working, we found out that the rear pass side running light and subsequent side marker light didn't work. Then I also noticed the left side license plate light was out as well. All in all it was a good experience. The vehicle pulled well and the auto transport followed behind very nicely. I just expect that all the lights will be maintained properly and working when renting like this. Especially in North Dakota in the winter when it gets dark so soon.
They stated the battery in the truck was shot and â€œthe battery stores were closedâ€ on a Sunday at 3:30. They didn't bother to tell me until I showed up, with moving help all lined up, that I wouldn't even have a truck available. Are you kidding? Go to Walmart and replace the battery. Or menards, or runnings, or interstate battery or any store that's open on Sunday afternoon. They lied to my face and the GM will not return phone calls and had a full voicemail. This delayed my moving by an entire day, costing hundreds of extra dollars due to missing timelines. The worst customer service experience in my 32 years of life.
I was charged $20 for overnight fees after renting a vehicle for 3 hrs. Very dubious charge. These guys are cheats. DO NOT USE this U haul. They don't seem to know what they're doing.
The pickup I rented had a super strong cigarette smell and the cab was not clean. I returned it after hauling a couple loads of furniture to the landfill....with the windows open so I could breathe. I look at the receipt that was emailed to me and was charged a $25 cleaning fee. Wow! Really!
Hire people that are not just talking on their phone or texting on their phone when customers are there or change your policy that do not allow them to do this, at least when customers are in the building asking questions. I realize it was cold that night but no one is forcing him to work there and if he doesn't like his job get another one. I went there for a service and didn't need to hear how he didn't want to wait for me while I was in the store looking at stuff I may need for my trip
Associates were friendly and helpful. Equipment was in good condition and easy to use. I would use this service again.
The trailer leaked and some of our stuff got wet during a short rain storm.
