I had 2 nails in a tire on my first trip that had to be replaced while the trailer was loaded before we could drive home. It took several hours to get that done ( luckily we were not on the road) The repair man was very nice. The light connector came apart ( and was ruined) on my second trip so I had no brake or turn signals half that trip. The trailers both started out working well.

Dwight PI was charged $28 overdue charge by this facility when I had in fact turned it in a day EARLY. This was an unacceptable email "surprise" (that I had been billed) and I am still waiting 3-5 business days to see if I am reimbursed after a phone call with the facility. The guy who helped me at the drop off was very nice/polite but they were busy so he asked me if he could email me a receipt for the check-in later and I said "sure" and drove away. He assured me this would be a good solution and save me time. But instead it has given me a small head-ache with follow-up and phone calls for resolution. I have photo documentation of the Carol Stream employee walking away (parking) with the trailer I returned early. When I called the store they were again polite and nice but I really wish this I had been properly handled at drop off.

MICHAEL DI had moving help so I can’t really rate the physical location or the staff. I enjoyed my experience with u box and moving help and will definitely do it again, but this time order that extra u box just in case.

HECTOR PI dropped the trailer off at the location after hours using the mobile app. Exterior was clean and well lit. Because it was after hours, no personnel was present. Based on previous experience with this location I would recommend to a others. Recommendations for improving after hours drop off of trailers: 1) Add signage explicitly stating where to leave the trailer; 2) While using the mobile app to confirm drop off locations, none of the bar codes that I attempted to scan on signage under the drop-off canopy worked; 3) recommend adding specific drop off location for trailers that includes method to secure the trailer so no one can simply drive off with it after a customer returns it; 4) Mobile app photo option was quirky which required taking photos multiple times, e.g., after adding last photo, 2 of the photos showed errors; after retaking the photos, photos no longer aligned to description (took photo of driver side under that category, when finished category name showed front. this occurred with multiple photos.). The concept of self-serve return is great! Overall experience was very good. Trailer was well kept, solid, and performed well for a 5 hour drive. Overall communication was good and training videos are valuable (well done).

THOMAS Nwaited for about 10 minutes outside with truck. no response. Went inside. Female employee helping other customer gave me a dirty look, but otherwise failed to acknowledge me. When they were done, she said "what do you want?" I pointed to the giant monitor that showed the truck, and I said "I want to return the truck" She Frowned, and said - "I have things to do. I have to put on a hitch. Give me the keys." She disappeared I waited about 15 more minutes. Another employee came in....stared at me, and then said.. "What are you here for.? Again, i pointed at the monitor showing the truck in the return area. "returning a truck." It took about 10 minutes to find the woman who took the keys. So, in short, I spent about 30 minutes waiting to return the truck. Waste of time, rude employees.
JOEL VUsed the Uhaul app for the first time. Seemed fairly simple and easy to use. It could have had more info on where to find keys or to drop them off. Luckily the employees at the location were very helpful and gave me the help I needed.

DONALD NDo not rent trucks with a cracked and broken transmission. Do not put your customers life in danger. Do not make a already stressful move more stressful by being careless and insensitive. I picked this truck up from a mechanic shop there's 100% no valid reason why you should of let me leave your lot with a broken vehicle.

JAMES BThere is nothing toward the locations but i would not recommend U-Haul to anyone. They changed my locations a total of 4 times. They even added that I agreed to the change to a palatine location which I didn’t.

ANDRES GFrom my experience no changes should be made. The staff was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I was taken care of promptly and was on my way in much less time than I expected. This is now the U-HAUL location I will use.
SCOTT WWanted a trailer rental for travel from Sheridan Wy - Glendale Heights Il. Was charged over 640$ for trip and the trailer was dropped off before the end of the buisness day in Glendale Heights. Not only was I not reimbursed for the days I did not use but i was forced into 5 day minimum. I did not recieve a refund after I was told by Sheridan if I return it early I would be reimbused.

I have rented trailers here several times before and this location, with Bailey's service will always be my first stop for any rental/storage needs!

DELRESA MWhen I picked up the trailer, the associate said “It’s back there along the fence”. Should say one of outer associates will meet you there to help hook it up. Not until after I had everything hooked up and ready to go did an employee approach and ask if I needed assistance. He checked the lights and off I went. When I dropped off the trailer that same night the bill showed a 2 day rental. I had it for about 8 hours and returned it the same calendar day. I contested this during the return process, but had I not paid attention I would have been overcharged. When I got an adjusted receipt the next morning I was only charged for one day, but a hassle I should not have had to deal with. Not my best Uhaul experience.

VINCENT DI used Uhaul in Crystal Lake, IL in comparison Hanover Park location services were quite low. There was no person avail to handover the truck. I need to go and searched the truck from the trucks lot. No one was there to explain the operating instructions as there was at Crystal Lake location. The equals clean but not maintained the dashboard lights were not on in the night. The wheel balance was out. There were too many engine sounds during driving and also wobbling when applying the brakes. Need good maintenance.
IRFAN SThe car carrier I rented ended up having a break line that was not attached, I was dangling under the trailer loose so I tied it up . This unit was not properly maintained or inspected upon rental. Dangerous not having the trailer breaks working.

KYLE BMy reservation was made over a month ago . When I arrived on time to pickup they did not have all of my order available and sent me to another location. Why did they not redirect me prior to my coming in? Also the truck had no interior dashboard lights which n my debit as driving hazard.

Steven BWas not charged what I was quoted for online. Was told I had unlimited miles which wasn’t true only 30 so I was billed $7 for 7 miles over the 30. Was also told that the price difference between return to same place verses another was the same….. NOTHING BUT LIES & DECEITFUL BUSINESS practices.
MICHAEL PI had a U-Box, no opportunity to see a storage room. Box was fine, lock was intact.
