Everything was great, but for future info. My truck was switched out because the assigned truck was blocked by other trucks, so I was given keys to a different truck in the lot but the paperwork never reflected that and so I returned a truck(one way) that was not officially mine! The receiving agent /manager John in Waterboro was excellent to deal with during this and got it resolved. 👍

Robert BThe service center on International Speedway Blvd in Daytona Beach was okay. The folks working there were helpful and courteous. The problem I have, is the fact that I requested pick up in Port Orange at BeeLine and the computer program said no problem. Well, big problem when I went to BeeLine a few days ahead of the scheduled time for pick up I was told that he hadn't gotten the request but didn't have the equipment I had ordered anyway. He said that I would probably be routed to the Intl. Speedway store and sure enough, U-Haul changed my reservation. When I got to the Daytona store I was told that they had the trailer and moving pads, but the only hand truck was for appliances (which I had no need for) I was told that my invoice would be credited for the lack of a hand truck. I've seen no evidence of that to this day and am still looking for the $12 that I paid for that equipment. If I can avoid U-Haul in the future, I will do so.
David DResponsibility has shifted to the customer, long wait times, unprofessional staff. Incorrect gas marked during check in, wasn’t notified to complete the “before you go” until going back in to report the gas correction. The music at the return in atrocious.
Ashley RI spoke with customer service regarding my poor experience at this location. The general manager treats minority clients differently by requiring additional means of verification. Meaning:,he called the emergency contacts for minority clients while forgoing this process for white clients. The general manager also speaks down to minorities and creates a hostile environment

Claudett cTruck was clean but brake light and turn signal didn’t work on first truck assigned to us. Turns out the second truck’s air conditioner didn’t work, and we had to drive it that way from Florida to Pennsylvania. U-Haul also didn’t have the dolly or any of the two dozen moving blankets I reserved.
Joseph HOdometer reading was wrong and when returned they charged us for driving almost 400 miles when we only went 44. The truck was only out for 3 hours, to drive this many miles in 3 hours is physically impossible. Will change my review if dispute is resolved, so far all I have is "you signed a legal contract".

James BHORRIBLE service. I received faulty equipment, constantly got different answers from multiple people. I had to go buy equipment to be able to use the Uhaul equipment because they would not get me replacement equipment. I ended up being stranded on the side of the road for over 11 hours. The Location manager, Brandon in Daytona FL, offers me $100 for my troubles and nothing else. I paid over $1200 to rent defective equipment that i had to buy equipment to get it to work properly. The mental stress this has put me under is unreal.
Amanda LEmployees in the receiving area , BOTH times did not do the proper paper work when 8 turned the equipment in, RESULTING with me receiving telephone calls BOTH times. Asking if I had returned the equipment. VERY ANNOYING

Ray CGot to the dealer at 12:15 pm did not leave until 7 pm. Your system went don't for 6.5 hours and no secondary way to process a contract! Horrible way to do business !!!

Mark MSystems were down, which made me late, but I get that. When I returned the equipment, I had a poor customer service interaction. The guy was rude and wasted my time while he hung out with a buddy of his. I can forgive systemic issues more than rudeness.
Dashiell WWe rented truck on a Monday. Had problem with brakes on Tuesday. Company sent out to repair truck. Left headed to northern georgia Thursday. Problem with brakes returned after we arrived. Company sent out to repair again. Friday headed to return truck same issue again with brakes. Dropped truck off and advised truck was not safe to drive. We almost ran into back of car in atlanta georgia because brakes were not working properly.

BOB FAlthough there were 2 associates behind the counter and only 1 customer, I stood there for 10 minutes after being told by the lady (w/colored hair) that she would be right with me. She even went as far as discussing her lunch pizza order with the other associate before asking me is she could help me. I thought it was a complete disregard for me as the customer when she could have just as easily taken care of my trailer pick up. Then I stood outside waiting for someone to hook-up the trailer....I literally had to go inside the shop and find a worker to help me. This location needs serious customer training.
roger sWaited for 30 minutes to pick up a reserved trailer. One person behind the counter. Then outside, I had to locate someone to hook up my trailer. Very disappointed. Need to hire more personnel

Drana BDangerously DIDN'T install 30amp fuse as listed for 7 post trailer wiring! Used my 4 pin light trail light connection and just CUT the other 3 wire connections that was supposed to be added to haul and help BRAKE the travel trailer! EXTREME LIABILITY for U-Haul if I didn't check Zachary's work. Charged for 2.3 hours of labor for a messed up 20 minute fiasco. Normally U-Haul is dependable but this was a total mess and incompetent!

ashana mThe glare on drivers window is terrible when driving at night!! The dash cluster in speedo area will reflect so badly that you can't tell where the rear view mirror is or show what's behind you.
Randy NAfter 100 miles the tires blew out on the trailer, leaving me stuck on the side of the freeway for 2+ hours.
JAYME CThey did not attach the proper battery cable. It slipped off and I was disabled until I repositioned it. I went back for them to tighten and they could not. I was told where I could buy a new cable. That is not a complete installation. Also the staff had problems with refraining from cursing.

Even though I had already spent $30 on fuel. I was never given any copies of the paperwork, I had to ask. I find this to be very wrong. They said they gave me a $30 fuel credit to begin with, which I see see, but it is not reflected in the original bill or anywhere. Never again with uhaul unless I feel getting ripped off again.
