Driver front a frame bent. Passenger front tire had a leak and 48 pounds of air. Getting it out of park was extremely hard to do. Truck had 150000 miles on it. Was really a rough ride.

When I arrived, I found that my code did not work. Never known instructions on how to use the keypad. You need to put your code in on the left side, and then the right side. Only the side door worked, not the sliding door. Also, I was supposed to have an outdoor accessible storage but mine was inside.

The cargo van exterior was not clean. There was bug residue on the hood, bird residue on parts of the van and it needed to be washed. Customer service during pick=up and check was courteous and pleasant.

Kirsten was extremely kind, helpful and professional. She explained pricing and insurance options clearly. She walked me to my unit and even highlighted the directions on the map. I was shown exactly how the key card worked and the hours of operation were verbally communicated. As a bonus, I experienced Kristen's sense of humor and am very satisfied with the interaction we shared. The Pace Blvd location is the cleanest, most user friendly self storage I have ever rented from!

Received a call 2 days before return asking me if I needed a storage unit when I already stayed NO when booking online. Why ask again? Received a text wanting to know when I would be returning trailer because they were short of items. I returned the day I was scheduled because I know you won’t pro rate and I needed it. When I returned it there were at least 12 trailers sitting in the parking lot! ANNOYING

I ordered 2 furniture dollys and they only had 1. They told me to drive to a uhaul 2 miles away to get one and they would call them. They didn’t call and the other didn’t have a dolly. The truck supposedly had 1/8 of tank of gas when I got it, but literally the gas light came on when I pulled out of the parking lot. Very unsatisfactory experience. Moving is stressful enough!

The gas was marked as half a tank when it was a little less for refueling purposes. Then miles were added to the milage count to make a $19.95 rental into a $50 rental. Although the staff went back and adjusted for this when I complained and we added it up on the map, I still feel gouged. I've used U-Haul all my life (60 years) so these little thing feel like a bigger betrayal. I will look at using a different way the next time I have a rental need.

I found Ms. Kirsten Dekeyser to be a knowledgeable and efficient problem-solver, which is especially useful and required when providing any U-Haul customer service. Her co-worker Tim was also an assistive and efficient professional. Before arriving at this facility, I was determined to no longer patronize the U-Haul company, as my experience up to this point had been highly unsatisfactory. Highly disappointed that I had to go to Pensacola to pick up the trailer when I made my reservation for pick up in Gulf Breeze. It was a round trip of 40 miles more and when I asked for some type of discount, I was told that they couldn’t do that.

The two staff members at this location were rude, unfriendly and not motivated to do their job. The person helping me specifically was mildly helpful but failed to ensure I had all of my equipment (Utility Dolly) before driving away. That caused me a lot of grief to have to coordinate picking up another Dolly at different uhaul location 30 mins away. This is unacceptable and very poor customer service.

Someone burglarized our storage shed on 8/24/2024 I have never experienced anything like this in my entire life it really hurt to know that somebody had to nerves to take do something like that we are caring and giving people I guess they needed what they took more then we did but all you have to do is ask if they needed anything.We learn from what happened.

I left because I have an event rental company and got denied renting a Uhaul because I live in Milton a small town outside of Pensacola I was told my DL had to be in the Pensacola area I was told from the other U-Haul companies that’s not a corporate rule just theirs. I stay within the 30 mile radius. So it was no point of me storing my event rental items there if I couldn’t rent a U-Haul from them. It was crazy cause I normally rent at least once per month or more and wasn’t told of that rule until I tried to rent again. So I just moved my rental items to another U-Haul facility that I have no issues getting a truck from especially when it can affect my business. They lost a customer because of their rules for renting a vehicle which is crazy when I have a whole 10x15 unit at your business. It’s ok I was starting to feel unsafe when I was loading an unloading because it was a man always popping up out of no where going in and out for no reason. So I quit going at night.

The staff at this location was rude and unprofessional. We were treated with disrespect. I am a disabled veteran and will NOT recommend this location to anyone. I drove from Knoxville Tn and the rules changed from one location to the other. In TN We were told one thing and it was not honored once we arrived in Pensacola. When questioned about the difference the employee then responded with, "Well I won't rent you anything. I asked to speak to a manager and was told it was the manager's day off. I then asked for any supervisor and was told there wasn't one except the manager. We had rented the uhaul, reserved the unit but was denied once we arrived. Knoxville Tn location was informed that there was not a permanent home address in Pensacola yet but did have the address to my place of employment. I had to partner with the VA once Iarrived for the new apartment address. Uhaul in TN said that would be fine as long as it was a loc address. It was/is a local address. We were finally allowed to use a family member's home address in Panama City, FL. This situation has also caused me to rethink our Uhaul units in Panama City. This statement is a summary. The entire situation was beyond unprofessional. The employee was willing to turn away a disabled veteran who had already secured the unit prior to arrival.

Zach was very helpful in getting me a storage unit and then walking over and showing me how the alarm system works. Uhaul Bellview did not honor my original storage reservation even though I had called ahead to confirm it. I had to settle for a medium sized unit at Uhaul Downtown Pensacola. It does not appear storage reservations are honored at all by Uhaul locations.

Rented was was supposed to be a climate controlled unit. Owner/Manger allowed homeless person to live in unit two spaces from mine. Exterior door was constantly left open, so there goes climate controlled!! My unit had rats/ mice in it eating my things. Paid extra for insurance only to be told nothing could be done, had to have receipts for ALL my things in unit. Can't produce receipts for 100 year old pieces of furniture that was handed down. Day I removed my belongings, unit full of cockroachs and I don't mean two or three, I mean full of roaches and the entire building smelled so badly from person living inside his unit, my son and I could barely stand it. Had to bug bomb my garage three times before I could start moving my things into my new home. Owner/manager refused to pro-rate rent so I lost money as well. I would definitely NOT recommend this storage facility.

The climate controlled storage was one of two I rented and it was full of roaches and palmetto bugs. Head to bring all the boxes home unpack them in the front yard and repack after the roaches were removed from the contents. Not sure if it has anything to do with it but there was a homeless guy living in one of the units in the same building.

We secured a unit one year ago. Every six months we received notification that our rate was being increased another five dollars. If we weren't living overseas, we would have changed facilities at the notice of the first rate increase. I reserved a unit days prior to a move when we got to town I called and talked to Kristen. Then when I arrived a super nice guy got me all hooked up. Staff was not knowledgeable concerning the insurance requirements (type, coverage). After providing proof of insurance via a 3rd party, the staff was unhelpful In resolving an internal I haul system conflict requirement that required information not pertinent to the insuring organizations. Instead of resolving the problem through a creatively solution, the staff pushes responsibility back on the customer to remedy an issue that affects uhual. I find issue that requirements such as the insurance and specific lock requirements to be highly irregular for uhual rentals I’ve under gone in the past. This information is not disclosed during reservations and seems to serve as a snare trap for customers already under going a stressful activity with relocating.

There was only employee working on a busy Saturday morning. The employee maintained his customer service with an exceptional attitude. However, the waiting in line period was too long. I was there at 820am for a reserve pickup 830am but I was not seen until 900am. There were 7 customers waiting behind me and 3 in front with 1 employee on the site. That's unsatisfactory. Nevertheless, that employee deserves an unscheduled day off!
