quit advertising 19.95 for truck when it is actually 40.00 plus to rent a truck. that 19.95 is false. I rented on and ended up paying 67.00 dollars after gas. and only went 22 miles.

This location was great. However, U-Haul Customer Service Corporate is terrible. 4 reservations made at 4 different locations, canceling the wrong reservations, charging me for the wrong location, double charging for the truck, then attempting to charge $45 more for fuel when the fuel level was EXACTLY where it was when we picked it up. 10 phone calls later, told Corp. would call me back and 2 days later, I have to call them again. The results of all this insanity: a $50 coupon for the next time I use U-Haul. I will NEVER use U-Haul again! Worst moving experience ever.

Fix the gas efficiency dial on the trucks. The engineer who designed it should be fired. The dial gauge has these thin section that are green and red to indicate fuel efficiency but it's so hard to tell ( because of fluctuations, the lag between the gas pedal & dial, and parallax) that this whole system needs to be trashed and have a red or green indication to tell you if you're saving fuel. Please fix. Also, the checkout process was complicated when the person checking me out had to fix a problem on my order. I did not need any insurance/protection and when she tried to go back in the system to change it it took her a very long time to fix. Eventually she told me that she was going to fix it because she had other customers waiting.

Once I was waited on the service was good. But I waited 40 minutes in line to get waited on. The person in front of me had waited 45 minutes before I got there. When you have a service business you need to have enough people to provide prompt service. There was 1 person being waited on and 1 waiting to be waited on when I arrived. They as I had reservations in advance. There was no excuse not to be prepared for the amount of people coming in as they should have known from the computer what the next day entailed. No one likes to make an appointment at a specific time and wait for an hour or more@!@!

The gentleman that put me in to the truck was very nice. However, I was very uncomfortable with the amount of cosmetic damage the truck had. I was worried that I would be accused of it when returned even though I bought the additional insurance. The main reason why I will never rent with Uhaul again was because I was charged $14.70 for an 1/8 of gas. If I knew that they were going to be that strict on the gas policy I would have let the guy who put me in the truck know that the gas gauge wasn't where he actually marked it. This was just a lesson learned not to use Uhaul. I even politely explained to the guy who returned my truck that the fuel was marked at the wrong amount but he clearly did not care. It's a shame this business has to nickel and dime customers like this. I'll go to Enterprise next time.

The first place where I reserved on North Davis HWY close to Bloodworth Dr I was upset. When I arrived at 8:00 they told me they had no truck, I ask why they did not call or email me. Never had such bad experience.somebody needs more training in that store. I had to go way cross town to get a truck, ;( there was a reason I chose that place. We moved our stuff from Cube smart to Molino. Yes we had to put extra mileage on the truck for pickup and return because they did not reserve our truck at north Davis.I rate them a poor service at the Davis store. I had to take off early for work and go back across town with my car to pick up my husband and drive back to pick up the truk. wasted time and mileage and gas!!! :)
