Honestly, the location and people are great. However, I drove about 4 hours in a van that smelled so strong of cleaning chemicals that, despite having to had the windows down, made me physically nauseous for ride and for an hour or afterwards.

I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because I waited over 20 minutes for my turn in spite of having a pre-arranged appointment. Other than that, it was a great experience, primarily because the installation technician, Brooke, was so helpful, courteous, professional, and did a terrific job of answering all my questions!

The employees were super nice as well as the road side assistance. But the truck was a POS. Alignment was off, needs a new transmission, and the battery died on me. So deff needs a new battery. Yall need to tune up and fix the trucks.

The drop off was ez to get to and bc of bad storms and other road situations my 4hr trip turned into a 5 1/2hr trip arriving much later than expected so my drop off was after hours. I did have to call customer service to navigate the app for dropoff and the customer service person did a great job of walking me through the app and completing the drop off process. Next time will be alot easier!

Renee and Brooke were very professional and efficient. Upon pick up Renee was with a customer for storage who had a lot of questions and she was very patient and answered all of them. I will say I was not asked if I had storage needs during my visit.

Unit rented appears to need transmission work. Hard shifting, and there is, I guess the best way to describe it is as a bump. When driving the truck "bucks". Hard to explain. But makes you move forward and back in your seat, almost like a bucking horse.

The people were very friendly, but the language barrier made it hard for them to give me the information I needed. I think the guy assumed I would figure it out when I got the text message because the online check/in process is very easy. The problem is that I had my phone in my pocket, and the pickup location was at a noisy intersection, so I never heard my phone when I received the text message. If I at least had been told that I was going to receive a text message, I would’ve known to check my phone.

My reservation was moved to a location 20 miles away which I was not told about. I had to get a smaller truck because my reservation got moved, even though there were trucks of the size i reserved in the lot. You can't just pick and choose what customer gets screwed. Because of this i has to make 2 trips. I was offered a 10 cent discount on miles. Absolutely awful and I will never work with uhaul again

Better maintenance, on your truck 🚚 🛻 it was awful 😖 driving the truck the tires and transmission slipping moving and I'm braking.I also hit a cars 🚗 couple of times R SHIT SUCKS.!!!!!!!!!!

I went over 4 miles and was charged. I drove the truck from Liverpool hardware to my old house then exact location and to drop off. I was charged extra because they calculated the miles. Never again.

I use Uhaul at least 5-6 a year for business, i own a dance studio in the Lehigh Valley and depend on moving our props to specific venues. This past Saturday I had reserved a 15' cube van from the Livingston St location in Allentown 18109. I will usually use this location because the Mgr at this location really runs a great operation. This past Saturday not so much. I have lost my confidence in this location.and Uhaul. My scheduled appointment time was 12 noon. I checked in to my app at around 1140 and sent pictures of my license back and front and put my Birthdate in and thought I was ready to go. I drove to the Allentown location and was told my truck was given away because I was late to my appointment. I then said but I checked in. They went on to say they didnt see me checked in, they also said they tried calling me and I didnt answer. After a few minutes of giving the poor Uhaul Associate a piece of my mind I asked for the awesome Mgr that has always taken good care of me.. He was on lunch.. i was eventually told they were having system issues. To make matters worse i had to drive 20 minutes to another location and i was an hour late to my venue. Thank you Uhaul I now have my next 3 reservations with Penske who has 16' box trucks and they are less money. I am more than available if someone wants to take this matter and review it with me. Lets see how bad you would like my business back. Reservation 70700241.

Trailer cable snapped on door from overuse. Couldn’t close trailer door. Had to call roadside assistance and get another rental trailer from a different location. Rental trailers need to be inspected more and maintenanced more to maintain equipment better.

Stop charging for things that cost you nothing! Upon returning my truck, which was dirty when I received it and smelled horrible, I had 2 pallets that I was charged $25 to dispose of, even though the manager admitted that pallets are taken away at no charge to the company. I don't plan on returning to UHaul. I'll take my business elsewhere.

I called the location Thursday, December 28 to notify them that I had removed all my items from the However, I note on this survey it says my move out date was January 2. I'm not sure what can be done but there should be a way to keep rodents out of the storage units. I lost a good amount of items because of them. Also there should be a big enough dumpster for people to throw things out without being told the dumpster is too full. Other than those 2 things, no problems

Most of the workers were friendly and knowledgeable and willing to help. There was one time I was denied access by the system even though I was told I had 24 hr access. It was inconvenient because I had a trailer load of things for the storage and I had to take it back home. I went back during business hours and the manager said I wasn't on 24hr access so he made a few clicks and made it so. They are daily checking the lockers and found that I didn't slide the latch over so it wasn't really locked. They put a bracket and a lock on to secure my locker until I came back. The storage business is booming and Uhaul is at the top of the game with competitive prices. All in all it was a great experience.

The storage unit itself was fine, however, renting a truck was a mess. Our mobile pick up was not set up & threw off our entire day. The first time we rented the truck, they did not have the correct size either. I would not recommend renting a truck from U-haul but I would recommend it as a storage unit.

Was unhappy with the person or persons I dealt with from your call center. They failed to tell me that the storage unit would be upstairs and not ground level. The staff at 25th st arranged for a street level unit but it was a couple of mails from the original siite. Also in the cab it said you can get a month storage free if you rent a truck. Worst experience ever ! I went to U-Haul to get an outdoor storage, when I asked the store associate if the storage unit they had was outside he said yes , when asked if a small trailer can be put inside he said as long as it fits you can store it . When we got the card and went looking for the storage we couldn't find it outside . By this time the store associate left for the day , and another store associate had to help us find the storage that was inside the storage facility! Waste of time and money , I would have never left my other storage unit for this one . The guy who helped us was very careless and wasted our time !

I have had the U-Haul self storage for a full year. It’s been extremely difficult reaching anyone in the front office. I live out of state so it’s hard for me to just drive there to speak with someone. I recently filed a claim and the employees have limited experience and knowledge regarding procedures and whether I needed to keep my storage unit open. I’m also trying to track down my adjusted at Rep West which has only been time consuming. I have reported my concerns to the front office this week and hoping to have a resolution very soon.

Storage unit was not available upon arrival, despite having reservation confirmation in-hand. Staff was of zero help whatsoever. Only 2 people working. Neither knows what's going on. I payed for a 10x10 storage on line. Get there and had to give all info over again and run my credit card AGAIN. I specifically asked for an outside unit. They gave me an inside unit with a 5' door in a tight hallway. I can't get anything in there. After 1hr and 40 mins, no one knows how to refund my money.

There were lots of dust and cobweb.but I will not put the full responsibility on Uhaul , I think the better deal is should be an acute term dealing with storage. My storage was in for too long. I have never had an experience with long term,so that could of been the reason for all that dust that accumulated.

My storage unit was flooded and some of my furniture was thrown out. The facility didn't remove the snow properly making hazardous conditions entering the storage unit that may result in a slip or fall.

Snow removal and preparedness is awful. No preparing was done prior to a storm and the Peking lot was disastrous and slippery. Ice every where and no rock salt used anywhere.

I was disappointed with the storage I reserved a 10x10 storage unit online but when I got there the storage was unavailable due to a leak and all they had was the largest storage unit available at $279 a month I was offered the choice of going to a different facility which I did not want to drive to they did give me the first month's rent free but I was still disappointed because I will have to come out my pockets double the amount I wanted to do. They could have at least give me a discount since they didn't contact me to tell me in advance I wasn't going to get my storage unit.

Beyond that, upon move out, the unit, and several of my items, were covered with mice droppings (found a dead mouse in an item stored).

Nice facility. Surprised to know UHaul won’t prorate your last month if you move out early so essentially I paid for three weeks I’m not using. They will be able to turn around and rent those spaces now, essentially being double paid for them. Last, the employees never seemed to know how to work the computer and made lots of mistakes. Often times they were more interested in being on their phone then actually helping people.
