Austin PThe wind was terrible and I wasn't out of my truck 2 minutes and the young man came to me. I couldn't find my contract and he said no problem and located it on his phone did his check and took the trailer off my truck and said you are good to go and you will get your receipt in your email in just minutes. Sure enough before I left the parking lot it was in my box.

marlene nThey (farmington) won't honor my 1 month free storage and this location wanted to charge me 100.00 for wanting to drop off vehicle there because I wanted to change my drop off location. I called uhaul 1800 number and they assisted me with the change with no charge.

Robert OApparently it is just a job to the individual I dealt with doing the paperwork and getting the trailer. Either that, or he was just having a bad day? Not much customer interaction, or communication. A bit more personable would be a great asset for a customer service representative.

andrea c | Overall ExperienceLoved the 15" truck I rented, but there needs to be an additional step down from the driver's seat, as some of us are not as tall as most men are (I'm 5'4" tall), and it was a struggle either getting into the driver's seat and getting out.

nomanita bWhen I tried to use the app to reserve it , it came with some error message…. I tried from 2 different computers Then when I tried to check In item after I was done the app wouldn’t recognize that I was trying to check it in .

Shanalyn H | Overall ExperienceUpon receiving the rental unit, we had to wait 34 minutes after the opening hours. No one was there to open the store. Also, the tire pressure on the rental unit were way off. A couple were reading at 50’s, while the other two above 60’s. Had to fix that before loading anything.

Craig LI rented a dolly to get a car to the mechanic. But we found we didnt need it. And returned the dolly right away. We told the sales person. Would have been nice to get back some reimbursement for being honest. Just saying.
Charlene LTransaction was pretty seamless. Customer service was good. Staff was helpful in mounting the trailer. In fact she pretty much did it all. Seemed about as good as you could hope for, but... What happened at the destination made me think back on this experience less favorable.
Dewey FThe counter agent wasn't very interactive and seemed to not have good knowledge about the reservation however a nice lady helped explain that you must use a major credit card to rent a van or truck. A debit can be used for a small or any moving van/truck. Very helpful quick rental when your own truck is unavailable to move large items. Definitely recommend renting uhaul

JEFFREY A | Overall ExperienceOnly issue is that your company makes people return vehicles at other locations even when they schedule to return at the one the customer wants to return at! The customer should not have to return at the location the company wants them too!
William HTreat customers with respect and take accountability when something goes wrong with a truck that someone rents for a specific moving date. If the truck breaks down and is unusable for the date needed then something needs to be done for the customer to make up for that issue. Also, just don't rent trucks that have issues to people and expect there not to be problems with getting the truck back on the time previously agreed upon when customer was under the impression they were going to be using a truck that has 0 issues to move their entire house at a specific date and time. Most importantly, don't sneakily bill them $500 dollars (to a card that isn't even the correct card on file) after they return the truck after telling the customer to just return the truck and not to worry about regular return protocol, and then bill them for exactly that and completely disregard the fact that they had to use roadside assistance with the truck rental which was the main reason for all problems that followed!!!!

tina fPaid extra to have packages sent to the facility and place in my unit for security reasons; they have children running around the facility, which created a second reason to have my packages in my locker, and not sitting around there front office. These were expensive car parts. Instead they received the package and left it at the front desk for two weeks. So, I basically paid for a locker to not be used for its intended purpose. Never again…

Christine S | Overall ExperienceThe facility was clean and well-lit, but it was a huge hassle to actually get into the facility because one entire bay of access doors was malfunctioning, and then the one working bay also stopped working as well. I had to have a staff member swipe me in for each individual trip that I made to my unit (so on any given day, as many as three trips). Very inconvenient. Even the staff were complaining about the facility being very old and poorly maintained. It didn't make me feel great to be leaving my belongings in a facility that even the staff complained about.
Elise R | Overall ExperienceIt's been one of the best storage facilities I've used by far in regard to features. The moving equipment and materials to use at the ready is extremely convenient. Being temperature controlled also kept everything in great condition. My only complaint is in comparison to every other place I've rented is that it was a firm baseline monthly payment and it's been a surprise to see this monthly payment increase. It may not be much to some people but going from around $85 up to $105 affects a very tight budget. I wish more of the smaller units had availability. One other note however is the dysfunctional alarm system. It didn't matter how many times my unit had been disarmed, the alarm blared every single time my unit was opened (even after notifying staff). I have ear problems so it was painful to experience every time.

Went to cancel the unit and they said I couldnt get any money back so I said I might as well keep it for the month and they told me to bad I already cancelled. So I gave U-Rent around one hundred dollars and never got anything in return. The staff was not helpful and very rude. They told me that they didn't like the tone of my voice and I said it was pretty hard not to have an attitude when they just just screwed me out of a hundred dollars. Other companies in town said they would pro rate the return of my money.

The staff was very helpful at the facility but uhaul corporate told us we would get one free month of storage and we found out when we got to the storage facility that was not true.

We noticed the bays doors where closed a month into renting the two units and was told we dont know when they will be fixed. We kept inquiring about when they would be fixed and always where told they are waiting for them to be fixed. We moved out without being able to use the two bays that would have made moving out much more convenent. The day after we moved out the bays where operational agian and all the time we complained didn't seem to be taken into account. Bummed out the problem was side lined and then at the last momnent when it was too late it was fixed.
