Too expensive and price kept going up. I had alot of dust in my outside unit. Rodents in my rugs and had to throw alot of things away because of the dust and rodent.

Here we are again. This is the second time I’ve had to write a bad review over how this U-Haul charges rent for a storage unit. The first one was on 1/19/26. We have a college student that goes to school there and use this facility to store her dorm room belongings for each session. The first time we came in to get her stuff out of storage after the auto draft came out. Meaning we had paid for a full month of storage. This date was just a few days after the auto draft charge. We did not get a prorated amount and refund for the unused portion of the rent. The manager told us after the review that if we let her know before the auto draft, that she would only charge us for the few days that we used the unit. Easy enough. Or so I thought. Here we are in May, our college student moves back for her summer session and goes to U-haul to close out the storage unit and get her belongings. She is charged a full month’s rent when it should only be for 11 days. We had done our part and notified the facility. They stopped the auto draft charge only to once again charge us for a full month.
