Best customer service and easiest service I've experienced from any other company in any other industry. I love dealing with uhaul. They can calm the most stressful situations, which is moving in general. They always find a solution. Thank you! And the free storage units for a month relieve ap much stress as well. A nice added bonus!

Accidents happen, but as a customer I would appreciate more information and assurances from U-Haul. On two occasions I showed up to access my storage unit and was surprised to learn about the incident and was not allowed onto the property. I would've appreciated more communication and a heads-up when I could not access my property.
Emily R | Overall ExperienceThere was a fire at the facility and it took them 3 days to contact me at which time they provided no information other than the fact that there was a fire and they’d have to call me back with more information (I know that other clients were notified as much as 2 days before me). They never called back. I then find out when I called back a week later to ask, that they had opened my storage unit and moved my belongings without requesting my permission or even notifying me. The person I spoke to provided no information other than that, and said I needed to speak to someone else who wasn’t in. This is completely unacceptable.

Donna C | First ImpressionsThe only reason I am not giving a 5 star rating is because of the false advertising that is going on. It was stated online that a lock would be included with the rental. And that the lock would be in my unit when I arrive. After I used my access code to get in the building I realized there was no lock in my unit. I called the number on the sign and the lady was rather rude when I told her there was no lock in the unit. She said that it was an "American thing" and they don't put locks in the units because they get stolen. Also, they are not included with the purchase when online it said it was included with the purchase. So then I had to drive across town to the other uhaul place so that I could pick up my lock and my swipe card. I just wish your company had of been upfront with the process because I did not receive any piece of information stating that I had to go to the other store. I might as well have just went there to rent a unit and don't see the point of the online rentals if you have to go in to deal with all of that anyways. Please look into this and get your information online corrected for your Canadian customers.

MIKE Sthis uhaul office was nice and well laid out but not easy to find as in entrance way for a newcomer to sarnia.
ANTHONY BThe brakes were worn and not maintained. The tires were old and bald. The gas mileage was horrible, not efficient at all. For the travel distance (almost 2000km), the money paid and where we were going a better truck, a more maintained vehicle would have made the drive easier.

The guy that was there later in the day when we dropped off the truck was very personable and efficient! We couldn't have asked for better personnel at the drop off location!

Darryl STruck was clean; maintained? There is something seriously wrong with truck. From 40 mph (a US based truck with Arizona plates) onward it shakes wildly. I did not notice the steering wheel shake, it was the truck. A person who was following me thought the truck frame was bent since it looked crooked while driving. Someone needs to seriously check that truck out. rudy@rkfischer.com

We used the truck for about 3 hrs and returned after hours as explained to the employee at uhaul. Hoping additional charges ate not applied. Dani MI had picked Forest as the pick up location and if I had known they didn't actually have the vehicle I would have found another alternative instead of having to go all the way to Sarnia to pick up the truck. No one could give me a good answer and none were very understanding of the situation. When I arrived in Sarnia, their system was down and I was there for a while as they sorted things out. Overall it was more of an inconvenience and hassle and would probably not use UHaul again.
Sarah WI had reserved trailer. Employee had to click mouse al least 100 times on both of my times in your office. You need to streamline your computer process. I won't be back. RIDICULOUSLY frustrating.

keith bThe only bad part of my U-Haul experience was with the follow-up after the reservation. The person I booked with over the phone was very good. He said that someone would contact me the next day to confirm time and location of pick up, but no one did until I called them. I was unable to get the 7:00AM pick up time I wanted because the location that had the cargo van did not open until 8:00. Apparently there were no other cargo vans available in Sarnia. The staff at the London Line location were excellent and very efficient. If I could have picked up the van earlier, I would have been happier.

Neil SThe unit I was there to pick up was not there at the arranged time. Had to take a different unit that had no ramp so loading was difficult and I had to lay the fridge on its side witch I did not want to do. Also the bar on the side which you use to tie your straps on to hold your items in place broke away from the side of the trailer making it useless which gave me a hard time to secure my items.

shannon sWhen I returned the truck, I was told there was not enough fuel in in the tank. The dealer in Cache Bay had changed the line on the meter reading because my driver noticed that it didn't match the amount of gas that was showing. He tried to call the Cache Bay dealer to verify, but there was no answer, so I ended up paying an extra charge because I was fed up with having to go through any more crap. He apparently made a grievance, but of course I never heard anything from anyone.

Scott JBe more accurate when calculating mileage to destination, I was charged for extra miles when I returned the truck, I went directly to my destination, two pull overs, one for gas, one to eat. Then returned truck with more gas than when I picked it up,less than 12 hours later, small charge, but still annoying

Edward JI booked a 15 foot cube van. I ended up getting a 26 foot truck. While the larger truck made the move easier, the truck was very hard on gas, and I had to pay increased bridge tolls.
