Even pushing the gas pedal it just doesn’t seem to go. Had to stay in slow lane entire time. But hey the radio and ac work great.

When he pulled up the manager was extremely rude to him as he didn't know where I was and was driving around the property looking for me. For whatever reason he felt he needed to be rude to my teenage son. It was unnecessary.

STUART LThe check-in experience was originally unhelpful and unpleasant. This is my first experience renting a Uhaul and apparently I reserved to use mobile pick-up. No idea I had done this so when I checked in was given attitude about how I made the reservation. I suggested that maybe it had been changed when I had to speak to 2 different representatives because of the changes that were made to my reservation within the 2 days before the rental. Also while checking in I had to use my debit card although I had mad arrangement for Affirm to be used which could have also made the reservation mobile. However, when I put my debit card in the machine I wen to put in my pin as it asked for and the man acted as though I had messed it all up. I didn't know not to enter my pin. Perhaps, he should have told me. I thought he was rude when he told me, but it was someone with me who pointed out he acted like I was "breaking the law". He also never told us that we need to return the truck with a full gas tank and not to the level we had received it at thus costing me additional money at the end of the rental. Overall a negative experience.

THOMAS JIt's a convenient location. Parking lot was in disarray for returning a truck and maybe had 6 words spoken to me and it was about how the dolly probably bounced around and made a lot of noise. I returned the truck cleaner than I picked it up.

Apparently this location only had one thing to check it in on the mobile app, and the employee couldn't finish it on the computer before I left. When the other guy (an older gentlemen) finally came with the phone that they had, I felt he was being rude by asking me if that I had checked in and they would finish it and send it thru email. Uhm, excuse you, but I was patiently waiting on YOU to get done with your customer, he could have given the guy the phone or whatever so I could finish. The guy that checked the truck out, he was great. He had already told me, that I could go, and I didn't want to because I wanted to make sure it got done.
Elizabeth WThe employee (Mark) was unbelievably unprofessional. He threw my ID at me after your program has issues reading the back side of the card. Then when we went outside he backed up the truck, left the door open, pointed to it and walked away. There wasn’t ANY walk around, any instruction given, nothing. Thankfully the truck was sound and did t have any issues. I’ve used that location several times and never had any issues. Honestly the guy was a complete jerk and I’ll be using another location moving forward.
Blake DWent to return truck, the guy was not nice. Told me to go start truck and he’d check it in. I waited 20 mins he didn’t come. I turned truck off because I didn’t want the 55.00 of gas running out I just put in there. I also had a bird hit the passenger mirror there was blood and feathers on the passenger door. I didn’t get to tell him anything. I finally left, then a few mins later another charge to my card. I’d never recommend this U-Haul. The guy in the morning was tolerable, not nice by any means. The guy at check in was awful.
Beth EWe were given a vehicle with 5/8ths of a tank of gas and told there would be no charge if it was still 5/8ths of a tank when we returned it. No gas gauge that I am aware of does 8ths, as a result we brought the vehicle back with the gas gauge showing above half a tank (4/8ths) assuming we were fine, it was not. There was an additional charge for 1.5 gallons of gas. I suggest in the future when a truck is signed out it is full and the request is made to the customer that they bring it back topped off to avoid confusion and irritation at the conclusion of the transaction.
AARON RRick Marshall was amazing. He was incredibly helpful and patient with our not so easy to solve problem. He dealt with every every confusing phone call I made to him with a calm and understanding tone. He sorted out multiple cancelations and re-rentals with ease. Thank you.

A different address not so much and make very little sense. How do two people from the same household (e.g., spouses) "share" a unit?

Don’t know his name but he’s bald and wasted our time for almost an hour and didn’t listen to a word I (a woman) said. I just needed the keys but he refused to listen to my 3 attempts of saying I need the keys to a truck I’ve already rented at this point but he was so adamant about talking to my boyfriend about the renting process EVEN though I had already rented it under me and just needed the keys. And the bathroom had dried pee, kid you not, all over the seat. Get a new team is my opinion, everything else was superb with the equipment

Then after enough difficulty in getting here I return the dolly and get charged an extra $75 with no idea it was coming because I was lied to. I will never use nor recommend uhaul again. I was lied to in the beginning by an incompetent employee that told me 136$ to rent the dolly because according to the next employee the previous guy that set up my reservation made it for helena to helena with a note moving to West Virginia. Then once in the office booking it found out then it was $507. That one I understand I had to pay because it was an error for the wrong trip and was told up front. However not being told about a charge I directly asked about and then charged after the fact and finding out by getting charged and an email.

Was told 1 month free when pre paying for a year. Total wasn't for 11 months ...was for 12. Questioned and then after the 2nd time he adjusted to paying for 11 months. Experience wasn't the best but my stuff sure better be in the new locker that I DIDNT get paper work on but was assured it was right when I left.

If Lyndale is to be regarded as convenient for storage of heavy furniture and other heavy household items, then please kindly replace the second level stairs with ramps because your company is not offering any equipment that allows us to safely get heavy items up those stairs. Now I will have to hire another expensive moving crew to get all of those items out of there and it is almost impossible to find reliable and trustworthy moving crews in Helena who actually want to work. My understanding is that move-in to your K-Mart facility would have been much easier. Also, there needs to be enhancement of the instructions for initial entry into the building. The current instructions are not clear about the fact that we have to input access information on two different keypads before entering.

Being so far away, I am so thankful for all of the help that was provided. My daughter successfully moved her stuff in and is very happy with the unit and the service that was provided to her. sam g | First ImpressionsOk, SO I had a terrible moving experience (That's what I get for not just going with Uhaul in the first place). I spoke with Taylor, the GM, at my Uhaul branch and she was absolutely amazing! She got me my first 30 days for my storage unit for free and got me a unit close to the door for my very very crappy moving company to deliver my stuff to. The price was comparable to many other storage facilities AND offered heated storage which was a HUGE bonus for me to not have my things in a storage unit where the outdoor temp can fluctuate between -5 degrees and 50 degrees in a weeks period. Every time I was at the unit the common area was clean and well lit. The staff was always super helpful whenever I needed assistance. My only gripe about the whole thing is that their parking situation could be a little better. It was difficult trying to get a Dodge truck and covered trailer in there because loading docks had parking blocks on them that could be easily tripped over loading and unloading trailers (and in my case, made it impossible to lower my covered trailer's loading ramp down, {This however would be a non-issue if you are using a Uhaul rental truck/trailer}) and so the only other entrance to the building is not well designed to handle a vehicle with an attached trailer for unloading and loading, but we got it done. It's because of the STELLAR customer service I experienced with Taylor (The GM) that I will never bother with a moving company again and just go straight to Uhaul for any and all moving and storage needs. PS. PLEASE PLEASE If you choose to use a moving company make sure you RESEARCH and check the Better Business Bureau for that specific moving company.

Staff is great when you can find them and get help. Facility is clean. I've watched maintenance slip further with each month. Mistery water leak into my unit was the nail in the coffin.

I was able to get the right size unit immediately, and had access whenever I needed it. The staff was always super professional and helpful. I also very much appreciated how quickly COVID measures were adopted so that the facility was safe.

I was charged a "late fee" and even though I explained my situation (husband just died), no break at all. I thought it was rather inhuman considering the circumstances. I'd never had a late payment to them for the years we had the unit.
