reda N.While I gave it high ratings this place is small and some areas don't have a. Pull through area while trying to off load a trailer makes it difficult. I will point out that Alex needs to understand professionalism in the work environment. While waiting I witnessed him with another customer and while in the middle of a transaction he paused to answer a personal call.. although it was a few seconds and he appeared annoyed it clearly was not an emergency. I thought that was disrespectful to a paying customer.

Raisa D.Overall the box delivery to Reno was smooth. The one hiccup we ran into was getting the the box delivered to my house. Apparently, the employees at the uhaul location didn't have the box ready for pickup when the delivery driver arrived, and caused me to drive to the uhaul location and pack up the box at on site. I was told by the driver that he waited two hours for the box and ran out of time. Then when I arrived at the uhaul office, the employee told me he only waited 15 minutes and just left. Not sure what happened and who's telling the truth but the event did throw a wrench into our moving plans.

They also didn’t give clear instructions on how to get access to the building after hours. You’re only able to access certain doors. It didn’t make sense. It was also very hot in the building.

John Q.I ordered a 2021 Highlander wiring kit, but for some reason, the locations computer was showing a 2023 wiring kit for the car, so the gentleman looked into it and verified my order and apologized they didn't have it. Another location did have one and he ordered it from them and said he'll call me when it comes in. I live in the Florida Keys and this was the closest location - 100 miles from my home to have a hitch installed. Why doesn't Key West or Key Largo do installs? There is definitely a need here! I want to emphasize that the customer service was good, but not having the correct info in your system is inexcusable as I called to verify everything was in order a few days ahead of time. The employees were very busy and hadn't even had lunch by 3 pm! Management and I.T. need to get their act together.

Jon W.Place associates in the fron desk who know what theyre doing and know there inventory. The gentleman before me was asking for a motorcycle trailer and was told rhere were non. The guys father went to look and found one. I put a reservation for a sprint van and they tried to give me a regular cargo van. I specifically asked for a sprint van and pointed at the photo above his head. Either he's over worked or he's slow. If you ask me i would put the kids to work in the back and place the adults up front. Homestead fl branch.

I called the office and they were able to help me get a trailer the same day. I was able to easily check-in via the website and pick-up was a breeze. Dropping off was easy too and the employee that helped me was able to email my receipt on the spot. All in all, a great experience!
THOMAS L.The location has signs showing you where to park when dropping off equipment. I parked in the designated area and waited like the sign advised. An employee walked up to a truck in front of me after five minutes and walked back in to the office where I waited for another ten minutes before finally walking in the their store area. There were three employees that were seated, only one was helping a customer. The employees did not greet me I had to get their attention and let them know I was returning a truck even though my truck was parked right infront of the sliding glass doors in clear sight of the employees. Only then was I able to drop off the truck and leave. Not a good experience after driving 15 hours from North Carolina.
BONNIE C.Hoy rente un Van en esta unidad de flegler en homestead, para empezar la persona que estaba a cargo de atender al cliente parecÃa que se habÃa acabado de levantar para colmo no entiendo como poner en un mostrador a tratar directamente con el público a alguien que no es capaz de articular las palabras y hay que adivinar lo que dice , además sin ningún deseo de trabajar , una vez que logramos a duras penas terminar con el nos entregó las llaves y tuvimos que salir en busca del otro trabajador para que nos dijera que carro era, el no se molestó ni dejó lo que estaba haciendo, solo nos señaló el que el creÃa que era, que no resultó , no era ese, volvimos atrás y nos encontramos a otro que finalmente nos dijo cuál era , pero ni siquiera lo sacó del parqueo y para colmo están sucio y lleno de pelo de perro los asientos, se le echó un cuarto de gasolina de mas y no hubo una rebaja , en resumen el servicio pésimo no se lo recomiendo a nadie

Jordiel R.It is a hassle. The QR didn't work and we had to wait until an operator close the return truck, it took like an hour and a half. So they charge an extra day. A month later they are collecting tools from homstead to davie $ 17 that they did a month later, with emails headed Credit Collection. They are charging tolls like if you go to Orlando. Very disappointing!!!

Kenneth H.The average rating has to do with the reservation system. I booked a “10x10x8 Split Level 1st Floor Upper Level Climate.” Upon arrival I was told that the unit I reserved and confirmed was not actually available. Instead, I was offered a similar size unit on the first floor, but was told it would be an extra $30/mo. I was then told the manager would speak with regional office in order to resolve the issue. I don’t think it’s fair for your customer to bear the burden of a faulty reservation system, especially since I called and confirmed my reservation the day prior to arrival. I am still waiting to hear back regarding a resolution. I expect U-Haul to honor the rate in my confirmed reservation which is attached. Thank you. However I am uhaul employee (not at this store) and I am disappointed with uhaul. My mom rented one climate controlled unit and a regular unit and both units had rat feces which one couch got thrown away and all the bed mattresses as well of the amount of feces that was on it and it was shown to the employees before taking it out. When someone damages anything at uhaul, uhaul is quick to act but when a customers belongings gets damage they sure like to take their sweet time and redirect the call.

Eventually one of them said he could. He sent a link to my phone for me to upload my drivers license (takes legitimately 1min) and walked away. We found him playing on his phone. Our checkin took 50mins when at my last location it was 5min. 50mins for something that took me 5mins to move in.

I don't believe I own any late fee because I spoke with the manager about the date that I was moving my belongings out and I was told that I will not be charged. Because it was 3 days after the expiration date, because I was moving on that date.

One thing I didn’t like was when the fees spiked after Covid. I relocated to a different state and was able to maintain the fees until may. I payed $236 for 6 months. And from may to June I had to pay my regular fee a late fee and a hold fee totaling to $225. The prices spiked up so much after Covid I had to come close my unit because it became too much to keep track of and my valuables were in my unit so I couldn’t bare to lose them. I was stuck in a yo-yo of prices with them. That was my only complaint the staff were so friendly and kind. I appreciate the staff and the courteous help I received during my time

As your staff at the stores are absolutely fantastic, your customer service, follow through, communication, organization, logistics on the phone and everywhere else is the down right WORST! The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. I was on hold for 2 hours and 45 min., transferred 3 times to simply scheduled a pick up for my ubox. You all lost my box. Ran me ragged looking for it. Finally found it ONLY to find out you were holding up your end of the bargain and delivering my box to my front door unless I pay an additional $400! I went ballistic!!!! No way was I paying that, after you all promised deliver was included in my price. No way! So I had to escalate it to a supervisor, who then escalated to someone else etc etc etc. FINALLY with enough complaining I got my box delivered as promised for free. Why did you all put me through that! I don’t need that additional drama! Don’t you realize how stressful MOVING is already all on it’s own! And you wanna add to it!!!! Why? Keep your word THE FIRST TIME AROUND!
