Fix the main entrance door. The glass was completely cracked and door so bent off frame that it was locked and closed when I went to reserve a trailer. Thankfully, the employee working saw me standing out front and came around to let me know that they were in fact open! Other than that, 10/10 experience.

Laura NI rented a car trailer close to my home , went paid for it . Spent time hooked it up to my truck and was about to leave . Before leaving I gave it one more inspection and I realized it was missing 1 ramp . I almost drove 3 hours and would have realized the trailer was useless . I had to travel 15 miles to another U-Haul to rent a different trailer . Because I was already committed to picking up this car . At the end of my trip I called the U-Haul dealer close to my house to drop the trailer off there instead of having to travel another 30 miles . I was told I would have to pay another $100 dollars if I wanted to do that , so I had to travel another 30 miles to return the trailer . I was the one that realized the original trailer was missing the ramp. Someone from U-Haul would have had to travel 150 miles if I was there stuck so I thought some customer service would have been the right thing to do and let me drop the trailer close to my house for my inconvenience . But no U-Haul wanted another $100 from me . What happened to customer service? Thanks for listening to my complaint. Mike

John OI bought a U-Haul lock that was broken. The manager at Public Storage was unable to open it as well as my workers. I returned to U-Haul and asked for help and was told to go to Harbor Freight and purchase bolt cutters, which I did for $35. I left the broken lock at the U-Haul office, expecting to be reimbursed. However, the manager is on vacation so I was told to wait. I am sure that she will correct the situation…
Irene LU-Haul changed my pick up location without notifying me which caused me an hour delay as well as caused me to increase the mileage to drive which ended up costing me additional money. I did call the morning of when I found out my location was changed and was told a note would be left on my reservation that I am not to pay the additional mileage due to the inconvenience and yet I did. Returning the truck after hours was also just a hassle and not as easy as it’s made out to be.

The only change I would recommend is to let customers know in advance how long it takes to put on a hitch. Fortunately, there are plenty of stores and cafes near this uhaul, and I didn't need to be somewhere that morning, so the 1.5 hour wait wasn't a problem for me. But I can imagine people being very inconvenienced if they don't have a ride and have to just wait in at the Uhaul. Otherwise, great service and friendly staff. Especially Anthony, who installed the hitch.

Vincent FMy trailer bake and turn signal lights worked fine when I picked up the trailer, at night when I was ready to travel from New York to Florida none of the running/parking lights were working. I called roadside assistance and some did come and fix the problem after3 hours of diagnostic tests then I was finally able to get on my way but it did delay my plans and had to reschedule some things

I can’t tell you how many times Ive gone into that office and no one was in there. They tell you climate controlled & it was FREEZING!!! The 1 day grace period & $15 if I forget to pay always got under my skin. Corporate uhaul is useless. Even with his rating they say “ Please contact the U-Haul Storage Facility and try to resolve any disputes before leaving feedback.” but I guess business before anything else.
