We were charged $75 too much and nobody seem to know why or what to do about it. Very disappointing

Uhual will scam you with a $25.00 cleaning fee . I rented truck for less than one hr , drove 8 miles on it , used 3 blankets , than I return truck , afterwards I see $25.00 cleaning fee . Truck was perfectly clean when I return it . They are unethical , go with Ryder or another rental company , not one employee told me about the fees . Terrible service and unrespectable . Staff is rude . Stay far away , must explain why they have so many trucks on the lot .

Prices are very high. I got a quote from Budget rental through Costco for half the fuel cost. Unfortunately I will be renting from them in the future.

My reservation was sent all over town at the last second instead of being at my storage unit where a U-haul is on site, it was sent to ellenton from bradenton and then when I got to ellenton I found out it was sent to lakewood ranch. I was not supposed to be charged mileage and I was. My rental was way more than expected as well even after downgrading to a smaller truck.

well let's start with this. I reserved the truck at State road 70 location upon arrival. no truck available. the virtual agent got me a truck at the 64 location and when I arrived there was no one at the desk. waited for about 10 minutes for someone to come in and tell me system was down. the girl at the desk helped me get a truck and get me on my way. so after 2 hours I finally got my rental truck..

Unfortunately, when I arrived to pick up my trailer, the Uhaul computers were down and they couldn’t access the information whatsoever. So I had to spend a protracted period of time re-submitting my information which made me late for the scheduled drop off. I very much disliked the redundant credit card transaction at all. Apparently the General Manager was so busy he couldn’t come to talk to me about their credit card procedure. When I went to return the trailer, nobody was at the equipment drop off canopy so I sat there thinking someone would come. They didn’t and I had to go get them to find out what to do. The combination of the IT system being down and the inexperienced staff compelled me to write an average rating. Since the facility is new, I’m hopeful that my next experience will be better.

I pulled into the drop off area where it said to wait. No one came out. Also was charged cleaning fee and damage fee. There was nothing in the truck and there was no damage. I am very upset with the lack of service.

It was my first time renting a truck. I was traveling from one city to another. I didn't know I could leave the truck in the city where I was staying. They didn't tell me that, and since I made a two-way reservation, I had to return the truck to the rental location.

This location is BRAND NEW, recently build and open. It is a STATE OF THE ART facility proudly maintained by employees. I worked with Dalton and his attentiveness to ensuring everything was above standards was commendable. I would highly recommend this facility.

Rental confirmed in app for mobile pickup, arrived and no rental was available. Had to wait 30 minutes for the store to open. Once opened the rental I confirmed was given to someone else. Due to time constraints I had to take what was available, and what I was trying to avoid by selecting a rental two days prior. Explanation from the store was “we don’t know what happened”.

I filled the gas back up to the exact level as when I picked the van up in Georgia.A couple of hours after drop off in Florida I received my receipt with an additional charge of $11 for 2 gallons of gas! Unacceptable, I have the photos of the gas gauge confirming the above. Poor show U Haul especially after disrupting my move by not providing a dolly that had been booked with the van.

Scammers and poor customer service. Tried to charge me extra for "after hours" return. The rep was aware that I was returning it after they close, never mentioned an extra fee. I filled it up with fuel before returning it, to the same level when it was picked up. Wasn't much, only drove 20 miles. Still charged me for fuel. Will not be using them again and I am moving my daughter to college this summer, moving to Orlando. Will be renting a truck elsewhere. Will spread the word to others.

I experienced multiple issues with my rental. Your website provided an incorrect address, forcing me to drive an additional 20 minutes to a different location. Once there, I had to wait over 50 minutes due to a line of four people. At pickup, I was told I could use the app for after-hours drop-off, but when I tried, the app did not offer any drop-off option. On top of that, the final rental cost was almost double the estimate originally provided on your website.

Drop off process was horrible. Told me I couldn’t drop off the trailer so I went back home to get my trailer hitch and personal vehicle to pull the trailer back. Tried calling U-Haul again and by the time I got all the way back home they said yes I could drop off there. What should have took 20 minutes turned into 2 hours and like $30 in gas. Then because the gas level was like 10 miles to E less than pickup I get charged extra which was from going back and forth to my house because of what U-Haul said. I have used U-Haul for every move I’ve done from military to college and will no longer be using them. Will just buy my own trailer.
