a pool/water noodle type of piece to put on top of entry to deaden and the head strikes that are bound to happen with this 6x12 ramp configuration, the simple little yellow tape isn't great deterrent to a whack in head

Great staff!! Just wish they had a waiting area with chairs if you wait there to have hitch installed like we did. All workers were very professional and very friendly!! Would definitely recommend to anyone!!

The one thing I would say is that the employees need to knock off a bit of the attitude. When I went to check-out the employee asked me if the prepaid amount looked good. The prepaid amount was $0.00 but they also had another price on it that said $348.00. I mentioned the price not being the same and she raised her voice a little and said to look at the prepaid. I understand that but also explain that the $348 was the charge I would of paid if I didn’t do the prepay. When I went to pay the card declined. (Error on my part I didn’t transfer the funds to my account) After transferring the funds I asked her to try again and she said that I needed a physical card at the moment. That could of been said once the card declined. She gave off vibes as if I was committing a fraudulent transaction. In all, I just think that an explanation would be nice to have and not just assuming that the customer knows the information.

Clean. Friendly staff and extremely helpful and accommodating. The adjusted mileage and fuel reading erroneously entered at pick up location as well as the equipment not provided. Was busy might recommend over staffing for Saturdays.

Excellent service at this U-Haul location! Rented a 20ft truck this morning and the female staff member who helped me was fantastic — got me in and out quickly with my truck, super helpful and efficient the whole time, and just made the entire process smooth from start to finish. Really appreciated the professionalism and friendly attitude. Highly recommend this location for your moving needs!

Kirby was amazing. She grabbed another employee and the hooked up the trainer, checked that everything was working properly. They went out of their way to ensure that I would have a safe move. The new trailer with the door that opened down as a ramp made moving a breeze. Will definitely use this U-Haul in the future.

n/a I dropped off the truck after hours and saw no one else there. It was obvious where to park and where to drop the key. The U-Haul app was frustrating to figure out on the spot after a tiring move. I guess I should have figured it out on my own ahead of time, since no one bothered to give me a heads up when confirming my reservation or when I picked up the truck.

I scheduled the rental approx 1 month in advance and received text day before the location changed. While I did not get the selected van, the location provided me the next size up at approx the same cost, mileage to the 100 miles. It would have been great if the discount mileage on original reservation for mileage over 100 miles would have been honored at the discounted rate. Unfortunately, the air conditioning didnt work and the weather was very hot - approx 90F. I kept it above average since I though the staff was helpful, and this was probably the first day where we really needed the air conditioning.

Both doors were very hard to close. They required a grest deal of force to latch properly. Perhaps some adjustments are needed. Otherwise the truck was good.

Truck wasn’t not ready. The gas was on empty. Both seats had large tears. Was able to select another truck which had a full tank but this one had damage which wasn’t marked with an X. Took time for them to document it. Drivers door was difficult to close. Very old truck with 155,000 miles with rust and needs shocks Poor condition. It appears from the selection of trucks at this facility mostly old 10 ft trucks. This was my worst experience with U-Haul. Time spent over 45 minutes to take delivery. Won’t rent from this place again. I wanted Breiginsvile location but your system selected this location.

Best experience. No complaints at all. Nairobi went above and beyond, very friendly, great customer service, very helpful. I couldn’t say enough positive things about her. The part about putting in your code was not clear. I thought it was to access a locked door or for after hours only. However, when I walked up, the facility door automatically opened. I set off the alarm. I appreciate the staff member who came out and explained it all!

I made the choice of storing my furniture that U-Haul after visiting three other storage facilities throughout Macungie. The staff at the Macungie U-Haul was so open and inviting. The location is brand new, besides having a convenient locker on the first floor, they had a restroom available to use on the same floor. In the rental office they had televisions on the wall showing all the security available. Besides my lock that was given to me by the staff for free, my room was actually alarmed by U-Haul also. It gave me that extra sense of security. Thank you Nairobi and your staff. I will be in again to purchase boxes and packaging supplies. 5 out of five stars would recommend.

Within 1 day of having the storage unit a lock was placed on it that I didn’t not have a key to. There was nothing in the unit and to make it worse the security alarm/system is bragged about for nothing apparently since a lock was placed. Mo communication on the matter is really what sealed the deal because I could have made sure to be there when someone was available to take it off!

While I understand paying in a timely manner is required but to subsequently charge my checking account causing it to overdraw with a $29.00 fee as well as U-Haul late fees was ridiculous. We moved out at the end of January and told the office yet, I get a phone call today asking if we're gone. Could be MUCH better.

It is not better or worse than other storage facilites. The facility is convenient to my location. Clean. Hours are convenient for now, but surprised it is not 24 hour like other local UHaul Storage facilities. It is convenient that it has a drive in garage to unload if inclement weather. It does need more than 1 flatbed cart .There are several to move mattresses and plywood, but only one to move boxes, at least on the first floor.
