I was initially told it would be $14.95 but when I checked out the same day with my trailer, it was like $60 - what is that about? I was supposed to get a receipt emailed for that, but I haven't seen that.

KELEKOLIO SI reserved the trailer online for a 1-way picking up 5/15 at Rancho Cordova and confirmed the drop off location for 5/17 at Truckee - online and at the pick up location. As I was about 1/2 way to my destination I received a call from your corporate office informing me that I could not drop it at the original location and would have to drive another 50 miles to drop it off. I explained that wasn't possible due to my vacation plans, but could make arrangements to pay someone else to drop it off on Monday 5/19. The 1st corporate representative was rude and not helpful. The 2nd corporate representative was apologetic and confirmed that I could drop it off Monday 5/19 with no additional charge. It was delivered in clean condition at the Reno location on 5/19, however, that location charged me for the additional days. I dispute the additional charges as well as the original fee for breach of the original agreement and the follow up agreement with your corporate office. Your service has seriously degraded in the last several months.

Christopher JTruck runs like shit. It's not go over 50 miles hours . From end need work. Used lots of gasoline maybe be 4 or 5 miles a gallon. I know I was worked For GM . This Needs Work!. I have rented other trucks all where good not this one

DAVID MI will never return to U-haul Sunrise in Roseville after my treatment there. U-haul Wells in Roseville, also slow, really slow, both these locations more than once. BUT, the MATHER Sacramento location was a clean slate and everyone there checking both in and out was completely fantastic. I mean everyone. I only saw the owner at a return checkin so I didn't interact with her, but this place was BLAZING with worker productivity and customer service. Both the checkout and return were immediate and actually fun! I should say I have multiple fairly recent rentals. What I want to plug, also, is Moving Help "Move You Up", two guys for two hours at a great rate that went beyond belief to load for two rental moves, that's TWICE they loaded/unloaded for me in 2025 and got it done with time to spare both times.

All the trucks and vans were rented, but she had one van the was reserved for later in the afternoon and told me as long as I get it back in time for the customer that reserved it, she would rent it to me. You’ve got a great employee in her!

MARCO SThe first location where I had, my reservation was not open at seven. I drove around for an hour back home and back to the location and there were several other customers waiting for a truck. When I went to the new location, they gave me a truck. They told me there was an incident at the other store, but they got a lot of other customers at the store. I finally got my truck. I spent an hour of my own gas money driving around on moving day. I am calling customer service now as I did yesterday demanding a refund when you reserve a truck two weeks in advance you expect it to be there along with the employees. The mobile check-in was also not working. Horrific customer service. This location was great.
TIFFANY GThe check in process on the app is horrible. Make it possible to turn in equipment without downloading the app or having to give more tban your reservation number. It's U-hual not much has changed except your prices and nothing else will change. The price gouge on things inside your store are also a huge customer turn off.

MARILEE WStart a Friday when I was running a little behind. I called The establishment let him know I was gonna be a little late. The gentleman had answered that that would be fine, just get there as soon as possible. And when I get there, the lady Jennifer Kinkel was very rude, said that she canceled my reservation because I was not there on time. The gentlemen spoke up said that he held my reservations. He does not know why it canceled out. She says it's canceled already, I'll have to Reserve another one, and so I have to start all over again. Rude!... I asked her if there was a problem? I was ready to walk out and call it a day, and because it was late I went ahead with through the transaction. I was the only half hour 45 minutes late for which I was coming from Lincoln, California I finish the transaction. He came out as I was ex Inspected the vehicle and he apologized for her attitude . Fast forward to Sunday. I get there at 1 30 - 1 45. I pull into the checkout area. Seemed like she was having a bad day because she directed me into another Bay as I put it parked, she immediately was yelling rudely to my 78 year old aunt. She was so rude to my party that pulled in behind me. I opened the door and I asked her. Are you having a bad day? You do not talk to my people. That way, one thing to talk to me that way. But you wanna be rude to my 78-year-old aunt and the gentleman? That was driving my truck because they did not know where to park all they had to do was ask them to park in a certain area. They would have done it without hesitation. My aunt was shooked up. She did not like her talk to her that manner. I have a heart condition and I should not be getting angry with an employee talking to my people that way she is super rude. I will never be back in this location ever again, as long as she's here, she tried to apologize, but I responded by "you were like this Friday." So no way I accept your apology. You should have apologized Friday .. It's not my job to let people like that. Talk to me or any of my party like that I am done.
MIGUEL BThe return process wasn’t explained at all, then they were so understaffed it was taking forever so I did it online, but the online system didn’t let me take the last photo nor would it let me get a refund except by mailing a check. Grow up, U-Haul, use Venmo or Cashapp or something, I want my money now.

The staff member who helped me was efficient but not the best when it came to customer service. When dropping off the vehicle the next morning on thanks giving around 10 or 10:30 am. The staff was very kind and easy to speak with. It's usually off and on with the customer service, depending on who is working during that time. Other than that. It was a smooth process

SALLY GAt check in they employees was not very friendly. She was efficient checking me in but being it looked like nobody had been there in a while she could have perked up a little. She gave some generic directions on there the truck was. I went out and noticed it was boxed in by other vehicles. I’m comfortable driving these but there was no way getting out. Another guy came out, said something about it being a one way vehicle and had to go back in to get another key. Took more time than it should have as it should have been boxed in. Fortunately during my wait I noticed the furniture dolly wasn’t in the van. Went back inside and was told I needed to grab it but wasn’t told that when i checked out initially. Had I not caught this it would have required a trip back. I got a van a couple days prior at the other Rancho Cordova location and I have them and excellent review as they were top notch in service.
GIOVANNI VI rent utility trailers frequently. Mills Station UHaul (Rancho Cordova) always seems to have the right trailer when I need it. They also help get me in and out with a minimum of hassles. Thanks, Jennifer and John for great service!

Zero security for your equipment seems like vandals have there way with damaging equipment. Being we own a catering company literally a few blocks over we used to spend thousands a year in propane service and we decided to go elsewhere due to the very unfriendly - newer management we miss Jessica she was the best . Why I say it is not well maintained: The large automatic door with no threshold plate closest to my unit was almost always "broken". Made it difficult to get in and out physically, and twice had to wait for an available staff person to open the garage doors. Then after a week of my truck being there it got broken into and vandalized. When I took my equipment out being there only over a week I did not even get a refund. I will definitely share this on social media and youtube. U-Hauls lot is not secure. They have surveillance but had me park my truck where surveillance couldn't see my truck.

Pam F | First ImpressionsI am filling this out based on an employee named Ariella and I will also be emailing Uhaul corporate offices. The experience we walked into was absolutely ridiculous! This lady (named Ariella because I finally asked the employee trying to help us to write her name down) was rude, so rude that my adult children and myself were uncomfortable. We shouldn't have to listen to an employee leave an approximately three-minute-long rude voicemail talking completely down to someone about parking in the wrong spot at the facility. Meanwhile, the gal named Lya was trying her best to keep peace in the office and got to a spot where she needed assistance with our storage. This went on for quite a while in which another customer came in and was "snapped" in rude tones saying to her that she was busy and would help her when she was finished. This was fine, however, the tone used was extremely rude, not to mention this lady had still not helped our situation and by now it was 6:00 pm and the facility was to close at 7:00 pm. Lya asked for assistance again from Ariella and was told to wait (despite the fact that we should have been done and on our way) - we were not a priority. Lya asked if we could start unloading the uhaul while waiting and Ariella snapped - NO not if the order isn't complete. At this point, Ariella was just sitting there and Lya got frustrated and had to leave the office to try and call the store manager for help with our storage. We were further disgusted when Ariella got up from behind the desk (still not helping us) and scuffed at my 26-year-old daughter with an attitude. NOT OK! We had just spent three days on the road and to be treated like this was awful. By the time it got figured out, the time was 6:30 pm and Lya quickly opened the large door so we could unload by 7:00 pm. Next thing I knew was Ariella came stomping out with an attitude for NO REASON and stated - JUST SO YOU KNOW I AM CLOSING THAT AT 6:45 pm. At this point, I wanted to lose my mind on this woman, but luckily my focus was on getting as much of the Uhaul in 15 minutes as we could. First, I would like to say that even my 21-year-old son stated that it was a good thing that Lya was there trying her best to put out fires because I would have not gone as well for Ariella. Secondly, we will be getting a different storage unit in the near future and not recommending the facility. Thirdly, we were there when the call came in that this Ariella actually had left the horrendous phone call erroneously. I could go on but will say lastly that this experience was supposed to be pleasant and it wasn't. After she had the nerve to stall our interactions, we had to wait until after it was locked at 7:00 pm for another 15 minutes for the alarm to set. In the meantime, two other customers tried to come to the facility to drop off stuff in their storage and were turned away. The sign says 24-hour access, but that is not entirely true. Overall, WORST experience with Uhaul, and we will not use it again. With that being said, this employee Lya deserves a medal as she held it together incredibly well.

They are not liable for anything lost or stolen, or thefts they say. Homeless drug addicts a Hang out where the fence was broken I’m the back by my car. My car was vandalized numerous times. Someone stole a lot out of it. They wouldn’t credit me anything for my trouble.

My car was damaged on the property due to negligence on uhaul's part. I paid for car storage and after 5 weeks of being away I came back to a big dent in the top of my car. It was obviously from something being dropped on it. Uhaul has been doing work under the awing that my car my under and never made sure the contractors were using protection for people's cars in case something was dropped. They honestly didn't care about the damage and said they weren't responsible for it since they say you rent here at your own risk. They have also had break ins into RVs. I would NOT leave your vehicle here.

STEPHEN M | Overall ExperienceStaff were always very polite and friendly. The facility, however, has extremely poor security and is an easy target for break-ins. Our RV trailer was vandalized twice while stored at the facility, as was all the neighboring RV trailers next to us. The last vandalism to the trailers was extreme. When reported, the staff gave us insurance pamphlets and said they were sorry, and said that it's a problem at that facility. No improvements were ever made, so we really had no choice but to leave.

We were very fortunate however as ours was one of the smaller ones soother units were more desirable to sleep and eat food in. We did lose some possessions. When we finally heard from the manager in charge, she was very nice. We no longer have our RV there. This seems to be problematic at other storage facilities that are close to Folsom Blvd and the railroad tracks.

I know that probably isn't their job but it would seem like a basic courtesy. I asked my parents to check on the vehicle and that is when I found out. Not really sure what I was paying for to be honest. Unless you are storing your car there to abandon it, I would not reccomemnd you use that storage facility.

The same person is moving trucks in the parking lot, installing hitches on cars, checking people into new storage units and selling merchandise in the store. Seems like a lot for one person at a time and I doubt they're making enough money to compensate. Please take care of your employees!
