Rebecca HoganI reserved a 26 foot truck. On arrival my wife had to walk the entire lot to find the vehicle. It was parked on the side of the building, had not been checked yet. The fuel amount was off, there was trash in the cab, and items were left in the rear of the U-Haul. My wife and I rent at least 10 times a year and this was by far the worst experience yet. And yet we still got to pay over 400.00 for the rental.

Found Uhal down the road in Miamisburg Ohio The woman behind the counter was amazing and got us what I needed right away. Everything was impressive, safe, and spotless. Not expensive on fuel and easy return in Decatur Indiana. It was worth the extra which honestly wasn't much for the customer service and how nice the truck was. Bluetooth was nice feature also. Will be renting again as I have last load in a couple weeks .

Cade CooperHad a rental unit for over 2 years at this particular location on Springboro Pike. Under the previous manager (a woman) almost every time I called the office they would never answer the telephone, instead all calls were forwarded to the Uhaul call center. As a result, I would have to drive 15 milles each direction (30 miles round trip) just so I could ask employees of the Springboro Pike Uhaul any questions that Ihad. This makes it VERY inconvenient for customers who do not live nearby. My low rating is due to the lack of proper customer service exhibited by the entire staff at the Uhaul staff under the prior manager ... it is not based upon the current manager. Please answer the telephone during business hours so customers do not have to drive 30 miles round trip just to ask questions about their rental unit. To be fair, I never really dealt with the new manager or current staff at the Springboro Pike location.

Then, whenever we went up to the front to get the furniture dolly, they were not very nice. My one and only complaint was that there's no prorated refunds to the customer for the unused days of the unit. There's no real reason to care about the customer anymore. It's all about taking the money, and doing nothing to help the customer (by returning unused funds) when the unit is empty early before the next billing cycle. Beware of this issue when renting storage units from them.

These improvements include notifying tenants of impending construction activities and being more attentive to follow through on move out requests initiated on a mobile device. Lastly, the design of the rear dock now covered area makes it more difficult for patrons to enter (e.g. backing in) with a trailer into the loading dock. Why two openings when a single opening allows for the entire loading dock to be accessible, now it's limited by the center section, a poor design choice.

Which is to me and I’m positive anyone who rent from uhaul just theft. So I moved to a different place. May want to stop the insane fees and threats of auctioning off peoples belongings for being a month behind. Totally get when people don’t pay for months on end but when someone is one month behind and pays regularly? You will lose plenty more people who pay their bills.

John Foltz | Overall ExperienceWe chose this particular storage facility because we saw that it had a loading dock in the back and that our unit would be close to it. When we pulled up to the loading dock, we saw some traffic cones on their sides and caution tape strewn around haphazardly, but we ignored it because--again--the loading dock was the only reason we chose this facility. While unloading, Evan Goode walked up to us and asked us to move our U-haul truck. We asked him why, and he told us that there would be construction done in that area very soon and the workers would need to get in the area. When I asked him when the workers were expected to arrive, he said "sometime this week." I could not believe it. When we asked if there was anything he could do, or if he could instead give us a call when the workers arrive, he began to debate us about the proper treatment of traffic cones, saying "what do you do when you see traffic cones on the street?" We asked him if we could finish up our load before leaving and he said that he couldn't wait around all day--it seemed as if he wanted to get home and didn't want to help us. As the conversation went on, he threatened to tow our vehicle if we did not move. We were forced to move our vehicle to the front, which was VERY far from our unit. The worst part is that after we left, we looked around back and saw that the construction workers had not even arrived yet. My wife and I moved out whole house together without any help, after I had injured my knees, and Evan found a way to make our lives even harder. In the future, I would recommend that Evan understand that people who are in the process of moving are usually not having a good time; they are hot and sweaty and tired and do not need extra stress. I would absolutely not recommend this facility to anyone.

The Manager Chelsea Holmann was disrespectful using foul language, calling me a liar when I went to her for help on more than 3 occasions to fix the IT problem keeping me from accessing my account. She told me to “make up addresses” and other information so she lacks honesty, certainly has NO INTEGRITY AT ALL. When calling to see the rent was paid since I lived out of town, I was hung up on, verbally abused and overall, he general staff was NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE at all as to how to do the job they were charged with doing, making it even more difficult. There were 2 young men who were always finding themselves apologizing for the problem with my account and doing a nice job. But unfortunately, they also felt the need to apologize for Chelsea’s lack of management and nasty behavior. Overall, I will NEVER EVER recommend nor use U-Haul again and will do everything I can to discourage anyone I know from using the Miamisburg U-Haul so they don’t have similar problems. As I stood for over an hour waiting to be helped because people were on smoke breaks, didn’t know how to handle storage issues or whatever the excuses were that day. Chelsea hires many who have her same disposition; gravely flawed… but she works well with those people. Unfortunate that customers suffer!

I also called uhaul to get a truck last month and when I got there they said they had no tricks that went one way. No one offered me any other option but to pay my storage unit for me to pay another month. I drove two hours got off work for the whole move and then I got a call from customer service rep who just lectured me in stead of giving any apology for the staffs rudeness and unwillingness to help . The uhaul units are nice the areas are clean but the customer service is terrible. The manager Jeremy was helpful

Maybe have 3 people , one person extra thats p/t to help with line. Website also does not always work to check in, by pass line too. One person knows everything there and most of the others not so much and always has to stop and help that person on the pc. Give them better training on the system so they can be just as efficient. One time someone picked up and hung up on me. Despite liking the indoor storage facility the outside of the back entrance ALWAYS had a significant amount of trash around it.
