Super helpful and accommodating manager and staff. Great selection of trucks, vans, and trailers.
Amanda JI reserved my trailer 3 to 4 weeks in advance so I would get my chosen pick up location. Not only did I not get it, I had to drive 15 miles out of my way (one way)for pickup and then had to spend 35 minutes in traffic I would not had to drive thru if I was given the proper pickup location.
Stephen DThere is criminal/stalker activity in the area where this storage is located. I came on a few occasions to access my unit, and a large SUV with darkened windows, drove up to the Uhaul curb side. The car idles and it is clear these people are watching me, as I loaded my belongings into my car. The same SUV would drive up, each time I accessed my storage. On the day I closed the unit, a man got out from the SUV, came into the Uhaul office where I was, and started shouting my last name. It was obvious that he had noted my car license plates and found out my details.

ROHAN LI went to the office to pickup my truck rental. When I got there they told me a have to do the pickup on the app. What is purpose of choosing to pickup in person if all I had to do is use the app or website. I wasted 20 minutes trying to gain access on the app to pickup my rental that failed to fine the office location. Only after the five failed attempts on the app, that a rep. decided to help me in the office. Very disappointed with this process!
JAHI GFirst of all your hard sell on all moving supplies on your website is horrible. I wanted to rent a truck not get an upsell on everything moving. People were great but just 2 employees working the desk on a Sunday was a joke. Long wait and basically told here are the keys go find your truck. Next time Budget or Ryder for me Would not come back

As a first responder, someone who rely on helping people find that this location rather take your money than help a customer. Stay away from this location.

EVA CThe online pickup was tedious! It’s a long process and the site didn’t explain how to get the key out of the box!!!!!! Luckily a guy was returning his truck and he was kind enough to help me. If he hadn’t been there I would have had to wait for the store to open which would have defeated the purpose of doing the move early. It would be better to have someone there instead of this process. And when I first was calling no one answered the phone! Everything else was fine.

As I was actively moving every thing she was demanding to know when we would be done with the truck that I had for another 23 hours.

Suruba WThe truck was dirty. The brakes were not working properly. The trucks was shaking vigorously as I was driving. I had to drive slow because the brakes were bad . The mirror kept snapping forward towards the glass thus I was not able to see the cars behind me or next to me. The mileage was too high at $2 per mile. I called and complained about the condition of the truck that caused me to return later than expected. That information was not put in the system. The some of the staff can be more welcoming and pleasant to customers.
JEAN PNotified about nail after ticket was closed .. issues with equipment damage report being falsely made for a time it didn’t occur and issued multiple receipts of different amount with little to no communication. Also issues with the insurance on the website not accurately matching what employees were stating. However, staff was helpful and informative when location was called to work out a resolution as the truck had nail it in at pickup from Maryland.

Angel ROut of all the u haul locations I've been to over the years, this is the most well maintained and best run. Always clean trucks and storage units, and always a quick and simple process. The manager there is doing an excellent job!

SONNYSON HI didn’t appreciate getting an email about my bill AFTER it was paid, secondly, I was given inaccurate information pertaining to if I was going to have to pay January after only being 4 days into the cycle. A different u-haul in the past didn’t charge me for about the same amount of time a few months ago. Finally, I found out I won’t be charged but initially was told I be. I hope to never need storage unit again & if I do, it won’t be with uhaul.
JENNIFER R | Overall ExperienceMy Ubox was shipped from Oregon to NY. The staff in Oregon were organized, polite, informative, helpful and timely. My box arrived a week ahead of schedule. After my box arrived in NY and I needed to pick it up and unload. I was required to schedule the pick up. This i did a week before the pick up date. Somebody called me 2 days prior to verify that i still plan on showing up on the set date, and i confirmed. I arrived 15 mins before my scheduled time on the set date. The staff didn't know what I needed, if it was just access or pick up. I was then told that my box is not on a trailer and I wouldn't be able to pick it up. The person who could put it on the trailer is not there, and there was nobody else who could perform this task. Then the staff discussed who called in sick, who supposed to be working, etc; things customers shouldn't know about, it's unprofessional. I informed the staff that my only option is to pick up the box on that day, and that i had a deadline to unload the box, due to another appointment. That is why I scheduled it over a week ago. Their offer to "just call me and get back to me" when somebody is available to help was ridiculous and I wasn't going to take them up on it. I chose to wait there because i had a deadline. I was informed to wait and that they will attempt to reach the general manager. Then I was told that another team member was reached who can put the box on a trailer and was told to come in, but that wouldn't happen for another 30-40 mins. An hour later my box was finally on a trailer; 90 mins after my scheduled time. Overall, the process of pickup up the box was very frustrating. The lack of organization at the New Rochelle location was unprofessional.

TODD NComplete pre-inspection of Uboxes before delivery and refrain from delevering broken and unserviceable Equiptment. I initially received a severely damaged U-Haul box upon my initial drop-off. The sides of the U-Box were broken and detached, there were holes in the wall panels, and the roof was crushed and caved in, making it completely unusable. I attribute this to a lack of pre-delivery inspection, as I believe someone may have thought they could overlook these issues since my drop-off delivery was scheduled for midday before my arrival home. However, After contacting customer service and explaining the situation, a replacement U-Box was delivered. This replacement box was in serviceable condition and appeared brand new. However, waiting for the replacement did delay my packing process, However, U Haul was accommodating and did accommodate my original pick-up time, allowing me extra time to complete my UBox packing The U-Box did arrive on time at my destination, and I was able to store it at my destination a reasonable quoted price, Despite the initial issues, both the drop-off and pick-up of the U-Box container went smoothly. All phone calls to and from U-Haul were professional and accommodating. I had to change both my delivery and pick-up times multiple times due to my changing schedule, but U-Haul handled all needs without hesitation and with professionalism. I truly appreciate their efforts in resolving the situation and meeting my needs, despite the early setbacks.

LLOYD BYou need a staff that's serious about the work they do and not solely rely on computers and the setup that U-Haul sets out for them to where the customer does all the work for them..all was needed was a touch screen and I couldve process myself bc they really did nothing and was not accommodating to my experience being stuck for 3hrs due to negligence on their part by not doing a thorough check up on the trucks before and after use especially when u get severe cold temperatures that would affect vehicles

Aside from that if you pick pod storage it forces you to a given building there were 2 places closer to me than what it chose ..the other issue is the website itself has a lot of redirects in it so it takes for ever to load

I sweat during each visit because Uhaul continues to keep it on heat when it’s an average of 65-70 degrees outside now that we are in spring. Also my lock my was jammed yesterday and the customer representative did a great job with helping me. We both struggled trying to get it to lock/secure until he came back with the hammer and was able to lock it.. He stated he would put in a work order to get my locked fixed for unit 3263.

There has to be more done with pest control, it was absolutely DISGUSTING when I cleaned my unit out! There were dead mice, the amount of mice and rat dropping were astonishing. Rats ate through my clothes, and many things were ruined due to the lack of climate control.

The contract # I had to valid ate the promotion wasnt working. I then called the 1800 number to resolve the issue. I was rest assured that there was no issue and the free month would be applied upon checking into my unit. I complete d my check in online and made my reservation. When I arrived at the facility to check in in was told the promotion ended. At took 2 representatives to finally fix the issue. After resolving that issue, I tried to go to my unit. I wasnt able to access it because the pin code in was given for the gate was incorrect. I then had to return to the deal to get my gate code reset. My check in process took over an hour. And I am a customer who registered fully online and paid in advance.

It seem like he gets some kinda sales commission . He was rigid and unfriendly. Withholding info from customers to apply charges to there card unknowingly.

From just pulling up to the roll up doors and not having to get out of your car the roll up door opens automatically then once inside the bay after swiping in the dollys are there to load my property once in a huge elevator and dropped off at my floor I have access to my unit through a huge roll up door. All the while protected by cameras and a convenient two way intercom where you are in touch with the front desk in seconds. They also gave restrooms on every floor which is great. It is the best storage facility I ever rented from and I rented quite a few. But now all my storage needs will be done at this facility solely. I recommend this facility to everyone including people with disabilities such as myself.

Made multiple phone calls to customer service. Still waiting on phone call from Store manager. The unit was a “handicapped” unit with just a regular 36” door not a roll up “garage door” type. Made for storing items very difficult.
