I scheduled a 15foot in 4 days in advance for pick up at 8am. Got a text message the day before to give my credit card and reserve the truck. Then got a text for pick up location in Walden. Got to Walden the didn’t have a truck and I was told my pick up for a scheduled for 12pm. Then I was told to go to Newburgh got there they didn’t have a truck now it’s 11:30 . Newburgh send me to New Windsor…got there and they only had a 10foot truck. Got the truck finally and then they give me 74 miles to go to my house pack the truck then to queens unload the truck then to another area in queens to drop the truck. So they didn’t calculate the miles correctly and I went over miles because they didn’t include the dropping off. It was the worse experience. So I was extremely late in moving and couldn’t take all my stuff cause I need a 15 foot and ended up with a 10 foot. Which outs me in bad situation where I have to rent another truck and spend more money. I definitely should be compensated for all this trouble!!! Such a disappointment.

CHANCLLOR LMicha, the GM, was the epitome of professional and accommodating. The customer service rep who "helped" us at the central processing (where the phone sends you when you try to call) did not schedule us properly for a hitch installation and gave us extremely misleading information regarding the price of our install. Micha was calm, understanding, and extremely helpful in resolving this issue for us. Our hitch was installed and Micha made sure everything worked out well. 10/10 I would highly recommend this store, specifically because of Micha!

RYAN WTruck had higher mileage than I wanted; and I had to drive 65 miles round trip to pick up auto transport.The ramp lock didn’t work properly/ spring latch broken. The auto transport was not a good fit for Mercedes. Car has under panels and would not accept chain. Used straps through rear tires- but did not have attachment brackets- had to go around rear frame of trailer- blocked license plate. Front stop rails also cracked ground effects

Have staff inspect vehicle for damage before they issue rentals to customers...Provide a copy of the vehicle checklist to the customer to verify condition of the rental.Leave a space for notes on the checklist.
DONNA TCorporate drive, which is not affiliated with U-haul, but the only street to exit to FROM U-haul is an unpaved, potholed mess. This made it very difficult to drive my vehicle with rented trailer in tow. The town of New Windsor should be pressured into fixing this side street. It honestly makes me hesitant to use this location again; it's that bad.

MATTHEW GThe place was well run.I think they may have been stretched a bit when gas customers came in, and customers were bringing back returns that had to be turned over fast. I don’t think that could have done any better. They all seemed to get along well and worked together.
