First time I have rented from U-Haul. Drove up to drop off area and worker was outside on a smoke break. She told me to just find an area in the front to park it and drop it off in any spot. I asked if they needed to inspect it and she said no. I didn’t realize I needed to do it on the app since I’ve never have rented from them before. Ending up taking pictures and checked the return in on the app. Was pretty easy. Only concern I had was a customer was hooking up the trailer I just returned as I was pulling out of the parking without an employee inspecting it before it was rented again. Hope the customer that was hooking it up doesn’t do any damage and they come back and try saying that was the way it was when they picked it up.

Other than the manager the staff is not friendly. Had me hook up my own 6x12 trailer. Every other U-Haul location I’ve ever rented from always hooks it up and make sure it is working properly.

Truck had a broken sun visor. Every time I would accelerate it would hit me in forehead. Also I reserved online for 930, got there at 915 and began the checkin process and it was after 945 before I finally had the keys. App says don’t wait in line but I had to wait in line 15 mins. People there were nice but I needed to be rolling and I was 15 behind schedule. So much for vehicle guarantee to be ready by reserved time. Wasn’t happy this rental

During drop off the sign said wait with the truck. After 15 minutes I went inside and was told to just leave the keys in the truck. I never got a receipt emailed. Signage should be clearer. Other than that great experience

There was a sign left in the window of the truck that I had to move in order to see out the window, and when trying to turn in the truck the self turn in was not working and it was past hours so I had to pray that they wouldn’t charge me for an extra day and trust I turned it in on time.

I was charged for 75 miles more than what was shown on the odometer and had to spend 15 minutes on the phone to get a refund. And I only got a refund because I took pics of the odometer at the beginning and end. Plus, I got a storage unit and for the first hour after rental, the alarm went off every time I opened the door which was so annoying. Then that night when I got back with a load to drop off in the storage unit, my access code had been canceled. Again, super frustrating. The whole experience has me reconsidering my $2500 reservation for a 26ft truck and car carrier for a week to move to Florida.

The first receipt said $77 in some odd cents. And then we get the thing taken out of our credit card of a $112 in some odd cents so I'm not very happy because I can't find a receipt saying why there was a difference in the charge.

I didn't (at first) get the damage insurance because I didn't think I needed it. I told the manager I was going to drop off my work truck and walk back to pick up the UHAL. My work is across the road from this location. I dropped off my work truck and started walking back, and changed my mind about the insurance. The manager had gone home so when I approached the register I informed the gentleman that I needed to add the insurance coverage. He called the manager and he told me that I could add it because I didn't get it originally. I was only gone for 15 minutes. After some conversation, the guy declined my original order and re-submitted the order with the insurance coverage. I was just so confused as to why UHAL didn't want to make more money by just simply adding the insurance coverage specifically after just 15 minutes. I understand if it was like an hour or more, but to be told " thats the policy" and thats it is not correct.

I was unable to access the link to close out my rental. One of the employees, Kevin the FMT told me had this problem. I have yet to receive a copy of my closed contract. I returned full of gas and pads folded. Please forward my closed out receipt. Thank you.

Either the truck was not full of gas or it was getting 4 MPG - more than 7 gallons to go 31 miles. The headlights were very dim. The truck was pretty old. It was clean though I do appreciate that. I would not drive it out of town though. This facility is really 5 star all the way, friendly and clean.

We were assisted by Kevin at this location and we were very thankful for his helpful and kind demeanor. Kevin first took my phone call about an hour before closing and answered all of my questions. I rented equipment and my pickup time was 15 minutes before close. We all know that it can be inconvenient to start customer processes/check ins this close to closing but Kevin did not seem inconvenienced at all! He reassured me that it was no problem. Overall, will be recommending this location because of Kevin!

Huge disappointment at move out (which was temporary because I was going to come back in the Spring). I received an email that rates would go up 11/5, so I decided to move out since my boat was going in for repairs for a few months. I was not told the cancellation would not be pro-rated and refund. When I asked for the fob back to use the space to the 21st which I paid for, I was told the move out could not be "undone". Seems a bit crooked.

My first time using this Uhaul store. Andrew was awesome!!! The second time I went back to clean out my storage and return the truck. Nathan stated he would check it back in and email a receipt. I never received a receipt yet everything else was great!!! Definitely will recommend

I didn't realize there was a storage facility at the pickup location until I was onsite to pickup my 15" rental truck. I had already reserved a space elsewhere with a different company, but when I went to unload my packed truck I was unable to access my unit due to a bad gate code. I remembered seeing the facility and called customer service immediately to see if there was a unit available. They were able to get me taken care of without even having to leave the truck and got me into the perfect unit. Thanks for having my back in a pinch!

The man who actually helped me was great but there was an associate that was rude when I tried to ask a question and then she proceeded to put me out of the store after I didn’t want to speak with her anymore. I didn’t get her name but she had a red eyebrow piercing and long brown hair.. also was irritated that a guy came in at 7 to drop off a trailer

I didn’t even get to use storage But it was nice The person who rented me the was very nice went to rent a truck at your facility and it was keys were handed to me and says three hours over to go get it here’s your dolly and you can put it on yourself. I have never ever been to any other U-Haul where this man told me just to load it myself and go over and fetch it. The trucks are always brought it front. They’re clean they’re running they’re ready to go and these trucks these two trucks were not clean at all inside or out, so will not be coming back there. I hope that you’re able to improve your facility and your tracks from this. I’m sure you’re probably shorthanded like the rest of the businesses. Thank you.

This place was fantastic. The people were fantastic. We just couldn’t put our stuff in the units there, because there was a step, and I had to roll stuff in so they sent me to another facility which was as equally as convenient and nice.

On (Oct. 27th, 2022 from the assistance of your employee's, corrupt liberal Federal agency members coralated a hate crime in taking part in an unauthorized search and vandalism of my personal property. The possibility of tampered surveillance recordings are evident. I witnessed suspicious activity on numerous occasions at this location. /Yours truly/#THE HONEST CUSTOMER:)-

Rarely ever does the office answer their phones during stated hours. Called several times to figure out move out process/requirements and every time I was transferred to the after hours employees;all calls being made during these said hours. Although these employees were helpful they were never able to relay that I was out of my unit. Last person I spoke with told me that I would receive prorated rent payment back. When I actually made it to the facility/office (while actually open) I was informed that “we don’t prorate”. When I inquired if I still had access then, since I had just paid for the month 2 days prior, I was met with “nope I just cancelled you”. Have never had issues with storage units until now. Very Disappointed

I received one month of free storage with a truck rental. This is a very nice perk for renting a truck. The U-Haul facility was clean and well maintained. Only thing that would have made access easier would be a drive up keypad for gate entry instead of having to exit your vehicle.

Only reason for the rating is that I reserved a 35ft space online a few weeks ago and when I arrived I was told that was just a waiting list. That is not an acceptable way to do business. I agreed to rent one of your 48 ft spots for $40 more which again is bad business not to match the rate that I reserved.

Hi. He place is super clean and looks safe and location is convenient. However, the young girl that woks there has Zero customers service skills. Zero. I run a multimillion dollar business and customer service is everything. She made me feel like I was interrupting her lazy time. Again, the place was beautiful, clean , safe and convenient, but the company should hire people that is friendly and profesional or at least try to train the one young lady to greet people, smile and say and at least say thank you for your business. UHAUL IS THE WORST MOVING SERVICE I HAVE EVER USED. (Even of this gets deleted or not placed on their website I will be posting it to both yelp & Google review pages) My husband and I requested a truck for a 2 bedroom apartment moving from Ft Wayne to Noblesville. I got confirmation codes sent to my phone two days before moving. I even called BOTH locations to confirm our reservation. My husband and father in law show up the morning of moving to get our truck from the Fort Wayne office. THEY DIDNT HAVE IT. The stupid staff member said “oh we were suppose to call you yesterday about this. We don’t have it.” They refunded us but what were we suppose to do for a TWO HOUR TRIP down to central Indiana? So we call around to the other Uhaul sites closest to us (even 50 mins out) and we even called the Nobelsville office to beg for a truck. We thought about driving it all the way to Fort Wayne. We were that desperate. EVERY SINGLE office told us they were sold out of every truck, van, trailer, etc. ANYTHING. Thankfully the Nobelsville location gave us the month free of rental for storage, but I will NEVER AGAIN use this god awful company. And I will be telling everyone I can that both of these locations are incompetent & whoever was working on Aug 13th should be FIRED - specifically the Fort Wayne Clinton street one.

Girl working at location was RUDE. Told me I was interupting her lunch. Appeared to be too many things at once and I was clearly annoying her by not knowing exactly what I needed. I actually canceled my trailer rental when she began yelling at me for not following her instructions, which I clearly didnt understand.

I love the people that worked there. They were friendly, helpful. As much as i love to do business with this location, i didnt like the truck. Frightening at best. I would still use this company once more, perhaps for a different truck. The truck wouldnt start. Took 2 hours when uhaul tow got to us, brakes were not good. But with all that, i would try again because of the workers.

Little upset I reserved an outside spot not inside the gate. Spot was no longer available and the room is not 10:10 it’s more 9 deep and 10 wide. Little misleading. Not happy with the spot but not going to do anything and need to get unloaded.

You can offload your truck after 5pm because the staff will lock the main entrance and your card couldn’t have access to let you in, you have to walk through the side door which means you can take in heavy stuff like couch or anything that is wider than the side gate. This doesn’t make sense as it renders useless the access card. I don’t see the purpose of the access card if the main gate where truck can offload stuff will be shut at 5pm, it means you can’t offload after working hours.
