KEVIN HTrailer was ready early and in good condition. The staff was friendly and informative and made a first time tower feel very comfortable with the setup and use of the equipment.
STEPHEN SReturn took over 30 minutes, white guy with a mustache was very flustered and couldn’t keep up with the work load. Was told I needed to wait to drop the trailer as others proceeded in front of me in the queue and were helped first…overall, horrible customer service from him and U-Haul needs to take a hard look at this employee as he seem inadequate for the position, and lacks customer service. Once he was finished helping other customers he made his way over to me, where I made him aware of my displeasure with allowing others to proceed ahead of me in the queue, to where he responded that “he didn’t like my attitude….” Well I didn’t like his either! He left and went inside, eventually the manager came up and helped me drop the tow behind, he asked me about the issue and I let him know…he asked me if it was a guy with a mustache and made a look as if he’s a common problem. The manager of the facility was excellent and provided great service once he was able to get over to me. Pick up of the tow behind was fantastic.

RICHARD BI've used U-haul for years, and always been a satisfied customer. Until now. BEWARE: It is possible to lock the keys in a cargo van. Not just possible, but incredibly easy, It happened to me, and I've learned that it happens to many users. I feel that is irresponsible on Uhaul's part The renting agent didn't say anything about "Safetrip" - I wish she had - would have saved me $200. And $200 feels like an exploitive fee for a lock-out. I disputed the charge to no avail, so finally paid it. I suppose I'll still use U-haul because I do think it's a good company. But I feel that they blew it this time, and they really should do something about vans that are so easy to get locked out of.

Jerry HMake pricing more transparent when you first go in to rent. A $20/day + mileage with taxes and fees for a short 20 mile move cost me $97. It used to be cheaper to rent a truck and do it yourself but with the rise in competition I could of had it picked up and delivered by company for $60. Now I know so I won't be back or tell anyone else to use a uhaul truck in the future for local diy deliveries.

laticha jThe mirror on the driver’s side of the truck would move every time it hit a slight bump and make it impossible to use it. It had to be adjusted each time. It needs to be fixed.
Paul GI was charged for use of 18 furniture pads, but I only requested and was given 12. It is only $5, but that adds up if it happens to multiple customers daily. Overall the rental was good - the truck was available and performed as intended, all accessories were available, and the representative was helpful. This is my location of choice when I need to rent locally.
KIMBERLY RCharged me for fuel even though I returned it with the same amount as when I picked it up. Provided photo evidence showing this. Truck was in rough shape, brakes were horrible, bed was clean though.

DON PThe front end of the truck was wore out. Very dangerous to drive for our 800+ mile trip. Head lights were so glazed over you could not see at night.

JOSEPH MIf I make a reservation for a certain type of vehicle, it’s expected that since I received confirmation, that I would be supplied the vehicle I requested. However I was handed a set of keys, told it was on the lot, and then I walked around aimlessly seeking my rental. When I eventually returned to the office and inquired as to where my reserved vehicle was located. At that time I was informed that indeed I didn’t get the vehicle I requested, instead had to use an oversized and less fuel efficient truck, or forgo my rental! So the lack of customer service, lack of honoring reservation , and lack of follow through just goes to confirm why customers don’t enjoy utilizing U-Haul and think poorly of their customer service and overall experience.

RICHARD MSend your Reps to customer service school (example:Sean K) teach them how to respect the customers wishes don't second guess reservations that have already been put in place, when a customer says 'No' that's what they mean. Keep unwanted suggestions to themselves Unless a Service Rep can stand behind what they say and their actions is to benefit the customers experience in a helpful way and possibly save on cost they don't need to make changes or suggestions. Have some INTEGRITY Be HONEST Show TRANSPARENCY and get the best deal for your customers. I've been using UHAUL for years and often the past 5 years l, never had a complaint with my rentals service or experience cost either. Cost is very important these days especially among seniors on a limited income, below income average etc. And I have one suggestion for the UHAUL name Give miles credit for the distance from rental pickup to the location where loading will happen. Those extra miles cost your customers over the limits you set, even if it's only $1 a mile extra, money is money and every dollar in the customers pocket helps and will bring them back as well generate more customers

MYRON CGas was only at 1/4th when i rented the truck. I got gas at a gas station across the street and was charged for fuel. The gas was marked lower than when I left unloading my furniture even though the distance between my home and the drop off location was not far from each other.

RONALD WCustomer service was lacking. I reserved an appliance dolly a week before but when I picked up equipment I was informed that they did not have an appliance dolly. I did not get the feeling that staff valued me as a customer. I will not be using Uhaul again.

REBECCA RRenting the truck was fast. The manager was friendly and the truck and equipment were clean. I returned the truck before the lobby was opened, but the young lady I returned the truck to was kind enough to assist me with getting the truck logged back in. She printed me a copy out of my charges and brought them out to me. It was one of the best Uhaul experiences.

The pricing is way too high for this unit. It was high to begin with and then you raised it even more. I have found two 10x20 units within a mile of your location for the same price I was paying for just this single 10x15 unit. Would definitely not recommend.

Patrice W | Overall ExperienceMy lock didn’t close properly because your office refused to repair the door latch even after repeatedly bringing it to your attention. I had to always bring a second person and tools to pry the door upward so that the latch holes lined up and the lock bar could fit through both holes. I requested someone to bore the holes out larger multiple times. I have crippled hands. When I finally put my own lock on that had a thinner bar so that I wouldn’t require a helper and tools, you took off my lock, put on your own, and locked me out of my unit. When I needed in, your employees couldn’t find the key to your lock. Your employee spent 30 minutes trying different keys, then had the nerve to yell at me and call me names because I waited in my truck in the AC while you tried to unlock my unit, unsuccessfully. I was locked out. When I came back a week later, finally a nice man bored out the hole for me, and I was forced to spend $10 on your approved lock. By then I had bought a house and was in the process of emptying the unit. I DREADED having to go to my storage unit for the yesr I had it because I knew there was going to be a 15-30 minute struggle to lock it back up. And I had to find a friend to PAY to come help me every time. Your office REFUSED to fix my latch, so I mostly just couldn’t access my belongings. I’m a single disabled lady, and I don’t appreciate the extra work, expense, and hassle your office put me through. I have ZERO reason to ever recommend this facility to anyone, unless I hate them. I asked multiple times for my latch to be fixed. It took all of five minutes in the end. Yall owe me many HOURS of aggravation in my life that I can never get back.

Oh let's not talk about the dead large rat. Rats not Mice! And I paid for insurance coverage. Just awful. I had to throw so many of my things away. So I didn't even open because I saw it had been eaten through.

It looked like it was hanging from the wall and when I touched it it sparked. I reported it to the desk and one of them came to verify it wasn’t working. The next time I go back I have to let them know so someone can possibly fix it. I’m not upset by it, just wished it was already fixed so We could see to put our stuff in.

The entire staff needs to branch off to management at other Uhaul stores. This is one of the best teams ever!!!
