Greg JenkinsCommunicate better on type of install. They did not mention that they were going to leave exposed electric plug. I had to have them take it back to correct it. They corrected it but I still don't know if it works or if they tested lights after install
Randy RynoGot in the truck, was told it had a 1/4 tank of gas. It had 0 gas, couldn't get the the gas station fast enough. Went back in and they said the manager had to leave for a while and he couldn't help. Just so you know I didn't bring it back empty. ( Your Welcome). After a long day of moving I then spent an hr and a half trying to get the app to work to check in the truck., after using two different phones trying to get it to find our location, we decided it wasn't going to work and called the customer service number to sit on hold for another half hr to 45 minutes. She was nice at least and got us taken care of. I'm sure you won't take into account the gas we had to pay for your company and or the previous renter and we will still get charged milage that we've more than paid for in the gas and extra time. Always somthing with Uhaul, it's never easy.

Shelly ClausonI was guaranteed a price for my truck and auto trailer. The auto trailer transport was not in on the same day as my truck, but I paid for everything upfront. When I arrived to get my auto trailer transport the representatives attempted to charge me $347 for the auto trailer transport. I informed them I already paid and a back and forth ensued. The employee eventually found my original reservation which showed the total price for both being what I paid. He advised an error had occurred on Uhauls end and they separated the order and I overpaid for the moving truck. Over an hour was wasted arguing, and then when I stated since I paid the price for both I would like to take the auto transport trailer I was told I could not. I was told I had to still pay for the Auto Transport trailer and I would be given as a gift receipt. After more wasted time the employee could not give it to me as a gift reciept and stated he would refund my card but had no idea when I would get my money. The employee then proceeded to charge me the $347. I recommend having all employees being able to access gift receipts, and I also recommend if people are overcharged giving them their money back immediately. I would not recommend Uhaul because not only did I have my time wasted I was out an additional $400 I could have used for my trip across country.

Craig WinczewskiI walked in right before the manager (I think he was the manager) was closing and desperately needed an unplanned trailer. The amazingly helpful man was so kind, helpful and accommodating. I had a carrier on my hitch because of an electric mobility scooter that I use to walk long distances. He helped me remove that, hooked up the trailer for me and made sure everything was good to go. I cannot explain how thankful I was for his kindness, amazing attitude and helpfulness. You should be so lucky to have any more employees like him. I feel horrible because in my slight franticness I failed to get his name, but he should honestly get kudos and a big thank you from Corporate as he gives your entire company a great name!!

Also, the U-Haul app I used to return the trailer didn't let me complete it so I wasn't sure if I did it right or not. But I must have according to this email cuz I got a survey

Dan SchutteWe reserved our trailer to be picked up at Beds & Beds on 41st Street. After waiting in line for 10-15 minutes we were informed that our trailer was over on 11th Street. If I wanted to pick up the trailer from 11th Street I would have reserved it from there. Then we were told that since we picked it up from 11th Street we had to go out of our way and return it there also. Zero stars for Uhaul!!

Julie IwanI stood in line and waited forever. The guy at the desk didn’t seem to know what he was doing, and charged my card twice. So now I have to wait for it to go back on which is frustrating, and then he went out and inspected the trailer. Halfway through my trip I found out the right blinker, hadn’t been working the whole time after u-haul hooked everything up and said I was good. Not impressed at all.

My utmost worst experience. If my bill is incorrect when it comes, I guarantee there'll be holy hell to pay!

Dorian SimpsonI am very disappointed, highly upset, and have been trying to get to an overcharging situation for days. However, this location is completely unprofessional and it seems as if they put the phone off the hook or they are simply just not responding. I am trying now to get a hold of corporate. It would be appreciated if they could call me at the number on my profile because I am so overwhelmed with what they have done during this time of distress I am already experiencing with having to move everything out of my apartment due to a flooding situation. Please please help me resolve this issue.

Tim SenftI had a very pleasant experience. If I ever need to store anything again I will defintely go back. The only thing that could be improve is the little phone box to communicate with the main office. Sometimes calls are not answered. Besides that everything else is great!

ricky crawleyI can't think of any improvements needed. I've used Haul UBoxes many times for moving and storing large items and have always had a good experience. The staff in Sioux Falls was excellent in all regards: from the UBox shipping from Oregon to delivery and pickup of the empty container. I'll surely use them again.

Jamie MilekovichOverall very happy with experience from start to finish. The weather conditions at pickup were bad but the service attendant was very helpful through out pickup process. Suggestions for improvement would be to check the rental truck out prior to pickup. At time of pickup we found the tire sensor was lite and the gas was less than the 1/4 mark as explained. The attendant handled the tire sensor quickly and it did not delay our trip. The gas was almost at empty and not at 1/4. The trip south was very good with no negative issues with the rental, all went very well.

Richard HeinzI drove all the way to Luverne, MN in the morning to find that the trailer that I had reserved to pickup was not there. Waist of gas and time. Would not recommend it. I did not receive any reimbursement for my time and money besides one extra day with a trailer, which I did not need, that I had to drive all the way to Sioux Falls, SD, to pick up. Very frustrating

When i arrived, I see what looks like an office with glass windows, I was concerned about going in because there was a man camped out in front of the door who appeared to be on drugs. I left my valuables in the car and quickly proceeded to the office. This address is 201 S.West Ave Sioux Falls 57104. Once inside, There is no one there, no office. Just a Kiosk that tells you, you need to check in online and have renatl insurance paperwork. Clearly too much hassel for a storage unit, but, most alarming was the desolate building with no personnel! I drove to the U Haul right around the corner and explained to Tyler, why I was so upset, He was very kind,understanding and professional. He took care of me by offering me a unit on site, the original address I first called. I appreciate the remedy but think Management needs to inform their employees to disclose the unmanned conditions of the property and to direct woman and the elderly to the manned site if available.
SUSAN LONG | First ImpressionsWhile most of the staff at this U-Haul location were friendly and helpful, corporate U-Haul is doing them a huge disservice. First of all, the design of the new storage units attached to the main building creates a situation where the entry to my storage unit is blocked with return U-Haul trucks every time I try to access it. Beyond that this U-Haul location is understaffed. So there is no one to help move the trucks out of the way. In addition, I first rented my unit online via the U-Haul website and when I showed up they did not have a unit of my size available. I understand this to be a corporate U-Haul issue and not a local problem. It seems corporate is creating issues and leaving it to the local U-Haul to solve it. I will not be renting from U-Haul again and I would strongly recommend against it to anyone I come into contact with

It was a Very very VERY loooong drive :/ I was offered a one month storage unit free of charge and when I arrived to turn in the trailer and unload our stuff.. I found out there was only an upstairs unit available at the drop off location I had picked 😳😳😱 ...I was totally overwhelmed at the thought of hauling everything we own up the stairs on my own and already exhausted from the long drive with wild kids 😩🥴 the lady that was helping us went out of her way to arrange a unit at a different location to accommodate and I am beyond grateful!! I almost cried the happy tears!!! Grateful, impressed, and sooo relived <3 I missed this kind of interaction that comes with living in the Midwest and it was a really great first experience with being back home. Thank you!!!
Chelsey Fischer | First ImpressionsI had a ton of interactions with the staff at this location and only had two good experiences. The worst was when I had previously had a late payment. There was a UHaul lock on my storage unit, which I fully understand, but it wasn't taken off even weeks after I caught up the payment. An employee came up with me, told me he would go look for the key, and left me sitting there without returning for over a half hour. I left, and when I returned a couple of weeks after that, the lock was still there despite payments being all caught up. I was so relieved to get my things out of the storage unit and never deal with this location again.

I would not recommend uhaul to anyone and will be sure to never use your storagebservices going forward.

I called 2X and when I got there it was still not correct. Your employee on site (Tyler?) was excellant to work with.
