Waited a long time to get my storage unit because no one was in the office working, then I was given the wrong size storage unit, went from Getting a 3 bedroom storage unit to a 1 bedroom to to the incompetency of the worker and him not knowing what he has and doesn't have. Told me there were no outside drive up units but there were. To top it all off because of his incompetency and is trying to make everything fit into a much smaller unit stuff fell and broke. Call the next day and they told me I received the wrong unit, in which I knew. Truck rental was fine.


Super fast and convenient


The business was supposed to open at 7am. Someone finally arrived at 7:20am and then couldn't get the public door open. Otherwise very nice people.

Improve staff knowledge. They tell you different things about assistance with equipment. One rep told me they could assist with connecting the trailer to the truck free of charge, the other then said they couldn't touch it unless i paid $20. The lady also didn't know what was going on at check-in. I had checked in online so "my time at check-in would be cut in half" as the website suggested. I still stood there for half an hour as three different people didn't know how to work the computer. They didn't tell us what was going on, and at the end a fourth person had to start all over.

I reserved a 26 foot unit a couple days ahead of time for pickup at this location. Somehow my reservation got changed to a different location and I was there almost an hour trying to get things sorted out.


A larger area would be a plus...pretty confined space

I have returned the rental around noon with the employee and I guess you lost it. Then late in the afternoon you call me asking when I will return the van. So I inform you that it was returned and you fail to follow up so I had to call up next day to verify all is ok?

The place is really busy but that is a good thing for you but parking is really difficult. Especially in the morning at ten am pickup time.

The truck seemed to be an older model. Very noisy in the cab...door seals not very tight. The truck was clean and yet the doors were a bit hard to close tightly. No windshield fluid. No cruise control. :) I'm not sure why but it seems that the worst trucks in the fleet are always out west. Several of the agents at this location were kind and helpful including the gentleman who checked me out, but there was a younger man who worked there who kept muttering under his breath and complaining making it clear he didn't want to be there. It would have been nice if he wasn't.


Actually it was a really good i really dont you could improve anymore then what my service was i highly recomend U haul for all moving Experiences hassle free and good reliable sources my service was really great. Thank you to the Sioux Falls U haul service.

Not a great experience. Just want to start off by saying I'm not one to complain but this was not a good experience. I showed up 20 minutes early got in line with 6 people in line and with only 1 person manning the counter. Not a big deal. While waiting in line I remembered seeing in the email that I could check in online to save time. So I started doing that. Took photos of my ID and all that. It then told me to to go out to the truck and confirm when I found it. I then sat on the bumper for 20 minutes while the app said it was pending approval. Not wanting to get back inline i waited. I then seen an employee walk by and asked him what to do and said someone would call me and then I'd scan the tag. I then waited another 15 minutes. I also tried the chat function several times which noone answered once. So after waiting for 45 minutes I went back in and got back in line. While waiting inline the employee that saw me outside seen me standing there and told me to come up front and he called the customer service line and had me talk to them while he helped another person. Customer service could see i started the process but couldn't help at all and sent me back to the guy at the counter who then had to grab another guy to help. He then logs on and sees that it wouldn't accept my ID so he scans it and it works. The whole process took an hour and 15. While I had 6 people waiting at our house waiting to help me move. What a joke. Sorry this was such a long and drawn out email, I just wanted to waste someone's time as much as you wasted my time.

In store time it took to get the equipment was inadequate. It took over an hour to get my van and then the tow dolly was not available as they told me it was because it was never brought back in time from the previous customer.
