The customer service was great despite technical issues and the location is convenient. The enclosed trailer was not cleaned, but the rep offered to clean it. I completed the after hours check-in which was a great option, but it did not go as smooth as hoped, so I had to return to ensure the check-in was completed. I would rent from here again.

EMILY WOne of the guys, not the one who checked me out, was just rude to any customers, if he even acknowledged them. Ridiculously slow process. This was after my reservation the prior night wasn’t fulfilled as promised. Truck had low tire pressure and had to slam the door as hard as possible to actually get it to shut.
RYAN MI made my reservation on the phone, because the closest Uhaul location to myself did not have a van, so I had to go to one 3 miles further. When making my reservation, I was told that it would cost $22 plus tax. However, when I got to the location to pick up the van I was told the total was $46, because milage is $1.09/mile and I estimated it would be 20 miles. Furthermore, during the check out process I was told a link was sent to my phone and I had to take a photo of myself and the front and back of my drivers license; your location does not have good service so the link was not loading. Since this was the case I had to use one of your employees' personal phone to do this; now I feel uneasy, because I'm not sure if a picture of myself and DL live on his personal device. This is unacceptable! I ended up driving 14 miles with the van, close to half being just travel to and from the uhaul location. When I received the receipt for the rental it was more than what I was told, $48, which is crazy because I drove it 6 miles less than what I estimated. They said I used 2 gallons of gas, which is amazing they would be able to gauge that in a 25gallon tank and that I would have used that much driving 14 miles. I have used Uhaul many times in a 20 year period, but I think this will be my last time as a customer. Terrible experience and terrible service by the company. Your employees were very polite and I could hear it in their voice and faces my complaints are a daily occurrence. You should do better for your customers and employees.
DAVID ISomething was wrong with the truck. The engine sounded funny. The lights won't shut off in the truck and there was a lot of wind from outside going thru the driving area.

BRANDON MI wanted to reserve a trailer @ Hwy 124 Snellville, Ga. This is the location I thought I had. Didn't look at the confirmation== my fault. When I went to return the trailer a told me to unhitch the trailer and drop it and rode away on his scooter. I am going to be 78 years old!!! I then went in to check out. I knew this was NOT going to go well as the person at the counter was NOT happy with the lady trying to rent a unit telling it was 4:45 and he got done at 5. He then told me to go to self-checkout. I told him it was no way to treat us. He walked past us out the door. I went outside and the person said he would handle everything. I told him thank you. I will NEVER go anywhere but Hwy 124 where they are courteous . BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would have been fine if the clerk? had given me any attention to say "it will be a few minutes", or if he would have called someone else to help me. But he made me wait without a word. Also, T the truck I got had a check engine light the entire time I had the truck. That should have been taken care of before renting the truck out.
Randall CThe vehicle was cleaned; however had problems with driver door lock. I didn't realize I had to lock each door separately. I had rented a van two weeks ago, I guess I was spoiled by the newer technology.

RATARA JWe were charged for an extra day bc the truck was broken down in our driveway and had to be towed. This was not our fault. I have requested a refund but have not heard back from anyone
Viola MDon't think you want me to review as I suspect internal theft of gasoline. Have time stamped receipts, time stamped pics of odometer, fuel gauge, and truck number on face of instrument nacelle. Put 5 gallons in truck 20 minutes after leaving facility with more time and date stamped pics of instrument panel after filling. On returning truck explained to U-haul employee there was no way to burn out 5 gallons from full in that amount of time. Because my wife asked the person checking us out if the tank was full and he replied with "yes" there was no question about fuel. Was running late to destination so filled the truck myself just to see how low it was from full. Returned next day and was forced to top tank with 3 gallons we used on a 88 mile round trip because of contractual obligations. Why argue-I signed it based on the gentleman telling us the tank was full. Reasonably confident that you don't want me to go public with this, but you might want to police your own company.
ROBERT WA bit expensive, but the overall experience was good. The employees were great, they deserve a raise for how easy they made getting and returning the truck.

RICARDO MI had a wonderful experience U-Haul Center, including each employee, they made me feel good. However, my landlord didn’t give me my access until after 5: 00 pm. However, my access was for 10: 00 pm. Being I’m on a fix income that situation made me penniless as I had to extend my contract. I know U-Haul has to make their money, but I was hoping that each day extended my charges I was hoping that my charges would have been cut in half, but I also know that it’s a business.

JEFFREY TThis particular facility keeps turning my auto-pay on. I've sent emails and called requesting them to remove my credit cards. They cause my checking account to overdraw and even with threats of legal actions they still steal money from my account without my consent.

Jerry HYou guys have contractors blindly feeding your system and customers rely on the authenticate of the information on your website. I booked a contractors from moving help and my credit card had a hold of 1300 which U-haul processed for an invalid contractors. This delay my vacate date and I was fined by my property manager You guys have no idea the impact your inaction affects the normal person. I have 2 units with you and I've rented your trucks for ever event I've had. But if this is your standard of care for your customers.....

tamika mWe had 2 separate identically-sized units (4x16 ft.? each) that were adjacent to each other, and cleared one out on December 30, 2024. We were 1st in line and it took 55 minutes for the U-Haul staff to check us out of the unit and provide paperwork. Problems included 1) we were checked out of the wrong unit, 2) U-Haul wrote up a new contract instead of dropping 1 of our 2 units from the current contract, 3) we are now being charged $123.90/month for the 1 unit (vs. the $163.90 we were previously charged for the 2 units) when it seems we should be charged approximately 1/2 the price of the 2 units since we are only renting 1 unit, and 4) the paperwork we were provided on site indicated we were renting the unit we cleared out (though U-Haul corrected the billing and sent the correct paperwork electronically later the same day).

TAHJMA S | Overall ExperienceThe access to to he storage unit could be improved. Most of the loading/unloading docks were blocked by the hitch trailers and a truck. I wasn't able to use the one available dock's roll-up door were we had to park to unload the truck. The sidewalk we had to use to get to the the storage unit was narrow and had an AC unit blocking part of it. We had to carefully maneuver by it as to not let the dolly slip off the sidewalk's edge or bump into to the AC unit. The unit I was given had a water drip from the ceiling and smelled a bit like mildew. The agent quickly resolved that and issued my another acceptable unit. He also made note of water drip and made a repair ticket. Much thanks.

The upstairs area NEEDS better temperature control. The facility is old and needs to be updated. These are the reason I transfer my storage. I found one much nicer as well as cheaper.

Also, the site was unclear and I was under the impression I'd have 24 hour access to my storage unit and that was not the case. Very disappointed by this as I was still loading things into the unit when I was locked out. The truck share return process was confusing as well, the website had a photo of an orange key return box so after 15 minutes of looking for an orange box I saw the hole in the door. Also the one working light in front of the store kept flickering. I had hoped to have an easy move but the biggest issues were with loading into the unit. The doors are also bent and I had to pry the door open and it slammed into my foot and, in doing so, cut my toe. The whole process is very convoluted.

My rental office in Springfield, IL said that I could expect a free rental for any size unit. I called the Snellville location on 1/10 and talked with an agent at a remote location. I reserved a 10 x 10 unit. While Christina was most helpful in locating a 5 x 10 unit that met my needs, I was frustrated that the first month's rental was not available free of charge.

I left, had to reserve another unit somewhere else and couldn’t even get them on the phone to cancel the units. We had to cancel them through online service.

We were told we could consolidate both units into one and at that time would only pay for one unit the following month. However when we informed the employee we wanted to pay for the following month for the one unit we were told by the employee and his manager that we could not do that and would have to either move to another unit or pay for both. We were given two different prices and No One, including the manager even bothered to apologize for the misinformation their employee gave to us. We will NEVER do business with UHAUL again.

The young man was truly helpful but as I heard him talking to his manager to help him with working the system the manager was rude. When he asked if I can get the free month she adamantly said no and I still had to pay extra for the additional storage. With all the aggravation the least the manager for this location could have done was work with us better to help instead of sounding irritated with her employee for contacting her and not honoring the first month free promotion online. I'm very disappointed with our treatment.

Once I got to speak to an employee, they told me that they couldn't get the key that was supposed to be at the front desk for me, I had to wait for the other employee, who was currently practicing horrible social distancing skills by using customers cell phone to get information about booking a storage unit. Instead of just giving me the key, they told me that I'd have to wait longer than the hour that I already waiting, for a key I already paid for, that was supposed to just be at the front office. I left. I had other pressing matters to handle on top of dropping off all my clothes to the storage unit I already paid for. This has completely altered my moving processes. I just want the key to the unit I paid for so that I can access it.
