The young man that I dealt with at pick up exhibited no people skills, poor communication, and a general lack of interest. Based on communication skills alone (or, simply, his lack of concern with communication), this young man should not be dealing directly with customers. On the other hand, the young man who came immediately outside to greet us upon return of the truck, made eye contact, spoke clearly, answered my questions, and had good communication skills. I know -- we're there to simply pick up a well-maintained, clean truck - which it was - but these folks you hire to actually assist your customers are an important part of the package. Hire more carefully.

The representative that helped me asked if I was ok with a trailer that had a light out in it, then seemed very annoyed when I said no, because he had to go print another contract.

Clean the interior a little better, maybe go over the advantages of the particular truck that's being rented, make sure the driver understands all the functionality of the truck. Help driver adjust mirrors prior to leaving. Otherwise driver leaves with a few challenges. Otherwise I was VERY pleased with my 2016 Ford F650 26' truck

I used uhaul vehicles for many years never had any issues until now. Not sure if I'll use them again or just the location. The uhaul locations needs to be on one accord with the representative. When booking your vehicle the representative will say one thing and when you get to the location they will say something totally different.

The 26 ft truck I rented was a dinosaur...brakes were not in good condition, which caused me great anxiety. The storage unit that I am now renting could not accommodate everything. What started as a one-day move with the vehicle turned out to be four because your manager(Victoria) whose attitude could use an adjustment... wouldn't work with me based on the fact that I couldn't put all my stuff in your storage unit that I rented and there were no other available at the location. While trying to procure another means of storage when I asked for just a couple of hours over to do just that at another U-Haul location, I asked her to at least work with me by giving me an hour and not be charged while I secured it . I was told that I would need to pay for another day I wouldn't be given a minute over my pickup time. First of all my appointment was scheduled for 11:00 after standing in the line to wait to be seen at the counter I ended up getting into my truck at 12:30. So in actuality my time would have been 12:30 not 11:30 but I guess that's not how you guys go about it I stood in line for 30 minutes to even be seen at the counter so 11:30 shouldn't have been anywhere on the contract given the fact that I didn't even procure the vehicle until 12: 30. I took a picture of the gas and the odometer reading. up on returning the vehicle I was told that the gas level was intially something totally different... thank God I had taken a picture to prove that I had returned the gas at the actual level that I picked it up on, that in fact was taken off the bill. then I was charged for an extra dolly that I didn't have but that also was credited off the bill. (with the added charges) my account being billed and pending on a daily those extra overages are pending at my bank... when I did the final check out Freddy assisted me and corrected the billing but the fact that I had to prove my position on everything by showing the pictures had I not taken the pictures I would have been held liable but for gas that wasn't at that level I was told that I needed to go into the app and update all that I'm a senior citizen I don't remember being told that nor would I have known how to go about that. Your general manager Victoria her attitude leave something to be desired there's lack of professionalism and certain areas when I return the vehicle there were questions that I had and the rep that was actually there wasn't much help so it resulted in Freddy being called after he had just left the facility 10 minutes reply before I came back and it was regarding the billing issue I in turn had a heated interaction with him over the phone because he just wanted to say what he wanted to say and not listen to anything I had to say. on the first act of doing business he seemed to be very professional I guess he was upset that he had to call me on his off time which I appreciate it but his attitude had changed. So aside from the poor upkeep of the vehicles the storage not being accommodating I'm paying over $100 for a 10x10 which in height is giving more height would have been accommodating I could only put 1/3 of what was in my truck and the storage and had to secure storage at a whole another company I will be removing my items from storage and relocating to another company because of the bad customer service and the unprofessionalism at your facility and I'm going to tell my friends who are renting to do the same there are some many overcharges and I'm sure you're a million dollar company so why do you need to swindle and be so greedy when you dealing with customers again the burden of proof was on me had I not had actual proof I would be forced to pay approx $560 According to your initial bill.... when in actuality my total bill is approx $290... I am still waiting to see if that additional was total $415 you have pending on my bank account that the difference will be corrected ...hopefully it does so that I won't have to go through a dispute and deal with additional stress moving forward.

the lady assigned to hooking up my trailer had no real idea what she was doing (thankfully I do know how to), and one of the rims had a vicious dent in the lip that I pointed out before pickup, but they apparently couldn't fix that day so I had to take it anyways (the only trailer of that style for many miles) and ended up adding some air after a few days. I pointed it out again upon dropoff so hopefully they will take care of it.

I drove the truck a total of 10 miles and was charged for 2 gallons of gas. I rented the small $19.95 a day truck. I would image it gets better than 5 miles to the gallon, wouldn't you. The needle didn't even move from where it was when I left, so I put a $1.00 worth of gas in it. I got charged for 2 gallons of gas. I didn't think U-Haul was that desparate.

Unorganized drop off. Evicted were parked in a manner that caused me to have to navigate to the side of the building to park. Waited in line to drop off and then was told by lady at counter to give the keys to a gentleman outside for drop off. Stood outside and waited for someone to give the keys and was told to pull the truck to the drop off spot. Informed him I had parked it on the side because there was no room for a 26' truck. He pointed to a spot on the spot in the line where it would fit now that they had moved a vehicle or two. I told him it still wouldn't fit behind the vehicles in line to get to that location. He rudely stated he was about to move a vehicle. Customer service is lacking.

I had a frustrating experience while at this location. It seems someone has related my driver's license to their name. This other person owes UHaul $68.00 and they cut off my ability to rent equipment until I speak with their security department. I know this because my most recent experience was the 4th time I have had to deal with this issue. Four times to explain that I am not this person and I do not owe any money to UHaul. My frustration leaked out and seeking assistance for the general manager caused her to tell me she did not care about this problem or me. She further told me she did not need my business. Now I should state I never raised my voice, made any type of foul language, or threatened any one in any way but a offer by her to have me arrested for trying to gain her assistance was suggested. I would have thought a general manager or any employee of a business would try and help customers. The fact that I resolved the issue with UHaul security 3 times should have suggested this 4th time still is not my fault. Please read this and learn that good customer service built UHaul. Great customer service should be the corner stone of any business. Try it out and see if I'm right.
