KIT KDon’t overcharge people on fuel!! You can’t properly say there is 7/16 of a tank when the tank reads in 1/4s I drove a total of 40 miles and put 9 gallons of fuel in the tank and I was charged an extra $13 for additional fuel needed. So I’m assuming the trucks only get 3.63mpg from my math So people be aware they will charge you extra for fuel at their discretion
cash kThe customer services was really good but the U-Haul was a bit dirty and the steering was really soft, I prefer a bit harder than the ones I drove but it was okay. There was a sound that makes a noise. I do recommend this place if you are in a tight spot looking for a U-Haul for a day.

Jason SIt seems that your app location service is not compatible with Samsung S24 Ultra. Every time it doesn't work! Windows on the truck were very dirty! Fuel levels on ALL vehicles should be FULL at the time of rental! Impossible to get back to same level!
DARWIN TTo noones fault the vehicle blew a seal I the hub again not blaming anyone.i went around 4 miles sat on the side of the road for a few hours .got the vehicle back to U-Haul rental place . .I didn't get to use the vehicle .I was charged around 40 bucks wich I think I should not have been charged .if this irevie is read by someone who can help By the way they rented me the wrong vehicle I went back intbey said they don't change it not really a big deal.nut I woulflinrle to use a pick.uo truck.tjis morning and return.it tomorrow morning early to move to Ohio .service you can that would be helpful .and you are a good company .it's just equipment failure. Donald SMy reservation for outside storage was given away when we got there. The truck had a cracked windshield all the way across. We could have been ticketed by police.
Carolyn CWe couldn't pick up our uhaul at our scheduled time (after closing) through the mobile app because a "vehicale was not assigned" to us. Then we couldn't get anyone on the phone. We had to wait until the next morning to get our vehicle which put us behind on loading things up
Vanessa IThe price quoted on line are not the prices they charge you in the store on pick up day. I didn’t like being surprised with an extra $60 when my price was quoted at $65 before gas. Also the systems were down so everyone in the store had to wait to be taken care of. Also the staff did not show me where my truck was. I was told to go outside and find it under a canopy in the parking lot. I didn’t even know how to open and close the back of the truck. There was no customer service in making sure I was comfortable with the truck I rented and how to use it properly. They literally took my money and handed me some keys. I wouldn’t recommend unless you are familiar with moving trucks and this type of equipment.

Tyler RThis uhaul rental was the worst experience I’ve had of the 7-8 times I’ve gotten a uhaul to move. After waiting over half an hour at the location where I was supposed to get the truck from, I was informed they did not have a truck for me. This location was under 5 minutes from where I was moving from. My reservation was moved to the next nearest location with the right sized truck, almost half an hour away now that traffic had started to pick up, the person that told me to go to this location kept telling the person on the phone to make sure I get upgraded. After getting to this location and waiting to be helped, they also told me they didn’t have the truck I needed, I reserved a 20’, and the biggest they had available was a 10’. After an awkward bit of time, they start to get me setup with a 26’ until they magically found a 20’, but the key was in a lock box the guy couldn’t get open and had to had another person get it opened. An hour and 40 minutes after I was supposed to have picked up my vehicle, I finally had the keys and went to drive the 30+ minutes across to where I was moving out of. Upon getting inside, the cabin smelled overwhelmingly of cigarettes. I told this to one of the workers and he advised me to crack a window and let it air out - the high for the day was in the low 40’s. While all of these delays have been adding up, I had also paid some of my neighborhood high school kids with trucks to help me load and drive a few large items up with their vehicles, they were only available for a few hours that morning, but it was now 11:15 am when I arrived with the uhaul and they no longer had time to drive up to my new place, only load the uhaul at my old place. Because of this, I had to make two trips instead of the one that I had planned on in addition to unloading with just myself and the one guy who was still free for the afternoon. This was an absolute dumpster fire of an experience and I plan to reach out to customer service and request a refund.

jeff mThe rental was suppose to be ready when we got there, but they acted like we had never made the reservation. We were quoted $829 out the door but when we went to leave it was almost $1,000. When I told them that I was quoted $829 they said that it was because of a hold and after I dropped the truck off at the other location I would get that amount back which never happened. Seems like they were just trying to push a rental. Very dissatisfied
BENJAMYN Lit took half an hour to get the price back to what was agreed on internet reservation. Counter person had to make several calls to get that done. He was helpful, but this seems to be a common thing with Uhaul, after reading other reviews. Do better Uhaul!
Gary PWilliam and Mary were very helpful. William rang me up and was very personable. I was having a rough sort of morning and William lifted me up with his kindness and referenced a brief scripture. He definitely knew how to “read the room” and knew his audience (me) because it was exactly what I needed to hear on top of receiving good quick service. His faith spoke in the way he was able to do his job yet administer customer service par none. I’ll be recommending this location next time a uhaul is needed for our next pick up run.

When I returned to pick up my vehicle there were different employees at the desk who were trying to answer my questions related to future rentals for a move and she butted in and once again made it seem as if I was bothering them for their opinions about what size cargo trailer I should rent. The gentleman who actually places the hitch was very professional and kind. He answered all of my questions and did not rush me out the door. When I need to rent a trailer in a few months, I will not return to that store.

Jimmy BEverything went well until I returned your property. The customer service representative called me, "Bro" twice while not once humbling himself that a 61 year old man does not appreciate being named anything but "Sir" by a CSR. I was furious with the insult and the experience in the collective. I had things to do, and I did not need being called, "Bro" while I awaited the return to facilitate. Think about it and let your CSR that with mature men, "Bro" is insulting and demeaning communication. I am not a hood on the block, and I do not appreciate being reduced to that status!!!

Ronald RI rent a 15' truck here. It was my 1st time renting here, and I wasn't aware of the policy and wasn't explained properly. When I got there to rent, only one service lady was helping customers at that time. When she asked help from her coworkers they told her they had thing to do. So, I tried to be polite and sign whatever she told me. She highlighted some one the receipt, and told me that I had to put back the gass as it's. When I returned the truck, I was told to do return myself cuz the store was closed, I said, "I don't know how." She told me, "Park the truck, do online returned, and put the key to the spot," then she close the door. I park the truck and returned the key, and planned to do the online returned at home. When I get home and tried to do the online retune, it did not work. I called customer service, and told the online return is not working. Representative told me that I dad to do at the store location. The next morning, I had a nather charge from uhaul (I paid $80 which $20 deposit included, I was charged $50 plus next morning). I called the store, I was firt told that a $20 fee for the return fee fisrt, but when I asked fee details, I was told it was $30 extra charge(not included gass price) for not filling the gass. Third, I was told it was the actual gass price of 8gl, $5 per gl while $3.39 is the actual gass price. I drove exactly 53 miles, now Ithey charged me $130 plus. I usually rent from Menards which usually cost me under 50 buck in similar situations which included gass, mileage, hours, insurance. Compare to Menards rental, I can say it not worthy to try Uhaul at all. This is my personal experience.

I was forced to pay a double payment I was forced to pay late fees I was forced to be moved in and moved out of my storage. I was forced to do all kinds of things, and then, when I moved out of my storage just the other day, they tried to force me to go back up there and take pictures and threaten to charge me if I didn’t however, I did not go up there and take the pictures because I didn’t feel like that. That was my responsibility. I had my storage there for four years and the last four months was terrible. Just absolutely terrible and that is why I no longer have storage there. I would’ve just assumed so my stuff to keep my stuff there another day not to mention , the lady behind the counter flirted with my husband and batted her eyes and called him hon and caressed his shoulder completely disrespectful. that place used to be so good and out is just a complete wreck. I should’ve never been forced to pay any of those things when it was their fault when my account got messed up, I simply went in to get a new card because mine wouldn’t work anymore because I’ve had it for so long, it was despicable quite frankly.

Then I was told that was an auction unit and they had no more. I then was told by the agent that she was texting with the store manger and the manager stated they could give me a second unit to accomodate me but I would have to pay for it. Not at ALL the proper solution. I chose the bundle online for the purpose of getting 1 month free when I selected the truck, the movers and the storage. After I affirmed that was not a good solution because I was being inconvenienced. I had driven the truck from Cincinnati to walk into the storage unit and to be met with this was ABSOLUTELY unacceptable. Neither of the two agents in the store seemed to be phased at the inconvenience. The store manager eventually told one of the agents, supposedly through text, to give me the second unit without charge. I was told to go to the 2 separate units, which were not next to each other and locks would be in them. They were not. I called the inside of the store and had to come back in and get the 2 locks. Which thankfully they did not charge me for and gave them to me at no cost. This was the ABSOLUTE worse customer service experience I have ever had. As a manager myself, the manner in which this was handled was deplorable. Attempted to contact customer service and spoke to a representative by the name of Kevin. He then stated he was transferring me to customer service and disconnected the line. Completely unprofessional on each and every level through this entire move. My 55" television, lamp and bar stand were broken. Lesson learned. Will NOT do business with this company again and will NEVER recommend this to anyone in a move.

I also was not aware there was no lift or elevator for super heavy/large items, I had to walk back to the main office and ask someone to walk me over to the other building and instruct me on how to use the pads, garage doors etc. It was overwhelming for me personally.

When asked for pricing on all 5x5 units, wondered why the 5x5x7 was cheaper than the 5x5x4, so I asked if the 7’ tall unit was a unit that was off the ground. Was told “don’t believe so”… well it was. Also, no one told us, the entryway door to the unit only allowed for a height of 5’-8”. I had something that 6’ tall so I had to disassemble it to put it in the unit. The entryway notice would’ve been nice to know ahead of time, as it was almost a foot and a half less than the actual ceiling height of 7’. Other than that, pricing is reasonable and it went smooth. No one took my card info when signing up for the unit, so I hope it’s on file and I won’t come back to an empty unit. I will try calling in the meantime to figure out if it is on file.

I arrived at 445p and was told they did not have enough time to process a new storage unit. They were not suppose to stay beyond 5pm. Luckily one rep stayed over and helped get me all set up. It was very much appreciated because I had hustled all day trying to get back before 5pm. I was very impressed with the truck rental and the very adequate sized storage unit. Just a little communication would have helped.

Brian j | First ImpressionsIt was an easy and smooth experience thanks to Virginia. There were moments I needed to locate info that was needed and Virginia assured me that it was ok to take my time. I needed help with various things and she was there with a smile and inviting personality every time. She even kept up her positive and helpful attitude as I waited while she attended to the phones, always asking if the person would please hold while she finished with her customer. She did not fluster or get annoyed that she was being needed in multiple capacities and I really appreciate her patience and awareness and I’m sure the person on the phone was happy to wait due to her kind tone. She was just a blessing to work with while myself and family were stressing over a move. I also want to point out that she is very genuine and connected with me and my mom very naturally in conversation. She shared with us personal but appropriate things that made us feel welcomed and not alone in the somewhat stressful situation that we were in. I believe just from our short encounter that she has a good heart and I’m sure she is a bright moment in many others days weather it be friend, family, coworker, boss, or stranger.

ann R | First ImpressionsI like the back in option for unloading, and the carts are useful, but it would help to have a cart up on the 2nd floor where unit 1767 is. No trash cans ANYWHERE. Water is great, but zero cups. The biggest issue was on Saturday it closed at 10 p.m. and I'm sure if I had backed in would the doors let me finish unloading. Instead I used 30 miles instead of the 5 I originally had. Other than that, it's good place to store especially if your stuff is close to the location

The second day when I went to pickup my truck, the system went down, and wasn't excepting cards, they could only do cash payment. I had to leave and go to the bank to get cash. Then I was given a much smaller unit than I ask for. Again another trip to the counter to get that straighten out. I spent 3 hours in total standing in line 2 days in a row. You need more workers, and better trained.

I went nine miles for my move , in total, and was charged 156$ . Luckily my debit card was locked. After speaking with multiple employees , I am still receiving emails that say I owe 186$. They also had me down for a storage that I never had #299. Again after speaking to someone everyday for four days straight I’m still receiving emails saying that I owe . They were 11 on a scale of 1 to 10. They are keeps. Also, they followed guidelines and safety to the fullest, a customer brought a propane tank in and walked of and left it. They removed it from the building immediately why making the customer aware which was ignoring them. Then when the customer started paying attention she got mad about the propane tank being placed outside they explained to her they were trying to make her aware she became very irate with them. The two caps are composure while explaining procedure and the danger of having a propane in the building., And the lady kept cussing them out and they still maintain composure. If this was my business I would have both of them on my staff and take care of them appropriately. In my eyes they deserve coodles for doing a great job. 👍 great job ladies you are A1 customer service people in my book with your great smiles thank you for taking care of me properly in my time of need, and looking out for my safety. She never mentioned this was such an important piece of information. Another one didn’t give me the information I needed on returning trucks after hours. She highlighted and told me to go to a website. Both gave me wrong or poor information. The information on how to access the storage unit was wrong, and so was the garage information. I figured it out in my own. You shouldn’t have people who don’t care for costumers working there. It was a terrible experience. I got charged three times the mileage because she forgot to mentioned how important this was and to top it she tried making me feel stupid for her not knowing how to do her job correctly.

When I went I ask about it they said it’s because you have a lock that isn’t approved. The lock they sold me and told me to use for my unit. I’m hey have no idea what’s going on, what’s available or how to maintain the availability. It was a mess and I don’t know how they’re keeping up with anything at this point.

I requested a storage unit and was given a unit far away from the location I was at due to the employees credentials not being transfered to his new store. I was running a little late getting the truck back and was charged another full day. The employee that fixed my storage unit was extremely helpful!

I was told at that time that the unit was on the first floor and the cost was $109.95 a month. When i went to the storage facility i was told the unit was not on the first floor and the cost for a unit was $129.95 a month for a unit on the first floor. I showed the gentleman my paperwork stating the quoted cost and explained i cannot do the stairs at my age and since there is no elevator i have to use a first floor unit. He told me the person i spoke with does not know this facility and does not know what are first floor units. I asked to speak with a manager and was told the manager was not there. I asked him to write down the name of the manager so i could call to get the pricing resolved. He did not do this. I am also unhappy that the first floor unit is smaller than the other one due to the ceiling height. The other issue is the lack of lighting in the unit. It is very difficult to see to move or find items. I would like to be called about these issues.

The fact i had to come back to fix a problem that should have been resolved the same day as it happened just by following the order of return but instead it caused a whole mess and a half and multiple trips and even more reversed payments and staff being embarrassing loud and over talking me when I was explaining things to my grandmother. But honestly If I hadn't kept my multiple original copies of the transactions I would most likely still be told the wrong information about the reversed transactions and made to think that I need to pay because I didn't pay for anything because I'm getting first months rent free when infact I had proof to prove them wrong and not end up getting overcharged. It is infallible to think that employees and even employers would tolerate such an act of unproffessionablism towards the customers.

I went into the rental office to get directions to my unit and make sure I had the right size and the gentleman that helped me acted like he was put out to help. I had rented the unit before the truck and after I rented the truck was given a month's free rent. When I went to get information on my unit and upgraded the unit I mentioned it and was asked if the truck rental was local or out of state and when I said it was local, the guy told me that it doesn't qualify! I came back in a couple of days later and started the online check in for the truck and when I went in the guy helping me had the wrong name and told me the rental was canceled and then he said my rental must not have gone through and was being argumentative about it. I had to pull up the text confirmation to get the truck! When I made the reservation I included a dolly and furniture pads and upon finishing the rental was told there isn't a dolly, I was refunded for it but still. The whole process was pressing! I went in the building to return the uhaul and was told to take the key outside and someone will get it then was told to pull up to equipment return and someone will check it in and send me a receipt. I sat there for 25 minutes and no one bothered to stop and speak to me until I decided to leave. The big units are upstairs when they should be on bottom floor. This place isn't ran well, the employees seem annoyed to be there. I won't recommend this place for anything.

I didn’t get to the facility until after hours it took me 45 minutes to find my unit for me only to discover that I could not install a washer and dryer in it as it was an upper level Unit. I was unable to exchange unit for a more appropriate one so I ended up having to cancel my friend home find another place for my belongings and still had to pay for one month of rental when I never actually accessed it.
