Not even worth one star!!! Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Emily was very unprofessional and did not treat us as customers with any type of respect nor offer any help with resolving an issue on their end. I as a paying customer was told to just “figure it out”. I was beside myself on how this business conducted themselves. I have an open dispute with them right now about a location renting us a pre-damaged U-Haul and having this location (goshen road : Emily) charge us for it. During the confrontation, and “figuring it out” on my own at this U-Haul location, I made a call to U-Haul customer service and was in the process of filing my dispute about damages they were claiming we caused. Customer service instructed me to get a promissory note from goshen road location and that I would NOT be charged because there was an investigation going to be set in place with the location that rented us the pre damaged truck. When I got off the phone I asked Emily for a promissory note, she denied me it and I was handed a bill !! During the phone call with customer service the lady behind the desk (Emily) took it upon herself to charge my card for these such damages without my knowledge. She did not show me what damages were caused nor the cost. She did not explain or have me look over what she she was charging me for or why and she did not have me sign anything saying I agreed to the the charges and the damages that we DID NOT CAUSE! She did not have consent or permission to do these things. Especially while I was on the phone with the company she worked for trying to “figure out” how to resolve this situation ... which is what she should have been doing as the employee in the first place! Over all she informed me there was nothing she could and charged me $467. Wrong ! There is a lot she could have done !!! And I had to do it myself !! I Contacted her boss Garth, I contacted the general manager of the location that rented us the truck, chuck, and I also contacted customer service and spoke to three different customer service representatives! I feel like there is something very wrong with this situation and their process of handling it, I feel like this is some sort of set up or scam. Being as unhelpful as she was and as quick as she was to steal my money for something that happened on U-Hauls end, but wouldn’t wait for it to be handled correctly. I am out raged with the unprofessionalism and how I was treated! This is going to be an ongoing situation until the right thing is done by U-Haul. I will NOT be taken advantage of and I’m not going to back down, this is not right for a company to do this to someone!

The after hours online drop off could be easier. No real directions on where to put the trailer the drop off area was full of trucks. Found a way around them and got the trailer backed into where we had got it from even though signs were telling us do not enter. It is not easy to unhitch and lift the trailer by yourself. Maybe we were doing something incorrectly but it was heavy. Pulled out and did the online drop off and found out we needed to take pictures so we worked our way back in to take pictures. Next time we will only rent during hours.

I ordered a 5x8 with a Gate and when i got to the location. That option was not available.

This location was the third location I was directed to for a reservation that I confirmed the day before pick up. The staff at this location were extremely helpful. The original pickup location said they did not have the trailer and directed me to location down the road. The second location also did not have a trailer. I was told the previous renter of the car trailer I reserved did not return it as scheduled to my original pickup location. As the customer who made a reservation, I should not have been directed to another location. You, the supplier, should have made the trailer available to me at the original reserved pickup location at the reserved time. The delay pushed my trip back several hours which caused issues on my delivery timeline. "you know how to take a reservation, but do you know how to keep a reservation?"
