Prepaid for Friday through Monday. Dropped trailer off a day early and no refund for the extra day I didn't use. You guys could refund those type of scenarios. And when a reservation is made, have the reserved units ready and waiting. All I got.

Called about needing more time w/the truck & the lady was clueless. Spent 10 mins. Listening to her fumble around and never got an answer. I finally hung up and just dealt w/it. Besides that all went well.

The battery of truck needed charging. I let the technician know. The initial mileage was misentered as 889,775 instead of 89,775. Manager Chuck fixed that problem for me when I checked in. Staff was all very good. I drove 28 miles and put 8 gallons of gas in truck before returning it so I think I came out on the short end on that.

Went to outlet on US135 5 miles S of this location first. It was poorly marked (hard to find) and they did not offer trailer hitches. Outlet on East St was great. Had a hitch. Trailer was located and hooked up quickly. Return was also very efficient. Good experience.

I came in twice in 1 month. Once for a box truck and was assisted by Byron. The computers were crashing and running very slowly. Byron was extremely friendly to myself another coworker and the other customers who were waiting in line. He was by far the nicest associate I have come in contact with in a very long time. Not just at uhaul but anywhere. The second time I rented a trailer and the gentleman that assisted me was grumpy and not very friendly. I also remember him from the first time and he was very frustrated and just unpleasant. Although the services were great, he was not. However, the guy who took us to the trailer and hooked it up was amazing as well. Overall i was very pleased with my experience.

We were sent to a location 40 minutes from our preference location (which I understand that happens, and we were given mikes to accommodate this change). However, when we got home and tried to load the car onto the tow dolly it was missing the proper pieces to even secure the car onto the dolly so we had to go to a hardware store (that was much closer to where we lived, this is the 40 minute issue) and pay out of pocket to get the tools necessary to fix it. This just seems like something that would be checked before you give the tow dolly to a customer!! Also the running lights on the tow dolly were out completely on one side and partially on the other side, luckily we did not get a ticket for this, but could have. Finally, we drove through quite a bit of rain on our drive and the trucks attic leaked some water into it, damaging some boxes. Not as big of a deal, just wish we would have been warned not to pack the attic so tightly with particular items if the truck leaks.

Truck was very muddy on the floor on both the driver and passenger sides. The bed of the truck was also very muddy and we had to clean it prior to using it so my furniture wouldn't be ruined.

Trailer was not there when I went to pick it up and didn’t come in till next day . Wasn’t offered anything for the delay whatsoever even though I believe I saw sign that sign of Uhaul misses the time then it’s a refund of some sort. Hoping somebody can change my mind of my recent experience.

I have recommended to many people that I met the use of the Uboxes. I think I used 6 or 7 and will use more of them. The design is good but could be improved. The boxes are a little too short. They’re about 91 or 92 inches inside and I couldn’t use them for my largest bookshelves which are 96 inches long. Other items that are 96 inches long include some couches and waterbed frames. At the front of the Ubox there is a small welded box that holds four chock blocks (which I never needed), if that box was removed the Uboxes could be extended another 4 inches or so above the steel frame. I also discussed with the Ubox clerk about the bottom right door corner. That corner or the whole door should be put together with screws instead of staples. The door plywood could also be water resistant as sometimes you must load in the rain. I’m not sure the paper on the floor adds anything either. Thanks so much ... great product. Steve Boleyn
