I started my UBOX with 2 boxes. It was shown as i might need 3 YESSSS i had to reorder and call for the 3rd. Delivered on the 6th i asked for my boxes a few days before PICK UP day ....My Movers I used was UHAUL No 1 on the list and they proved they are worthy of being No ONE FAST MOVERS. They were on time and worked hard 3 1/2 hours for 3 boxes packed full on 5/12 THEY came back on 13th because i flew out on the 14th. Was a little nervous but it went smooth ..Boxes were delivered to North Carolina on the 24th. and they picked them up on 26th. ON SCHEDULE, ON TIME and UNDER BUDGET ... ONLY little hitch which proved to be a good thing was Number 3 box that i ordered late, did not arrive in NC with box 1 and 2. NO PROBLEM gave me time to empty the boxes 1 an 2 and get space ready for number 3 ......Make sure you call your HOLDING LOT once the boxes have left your HOME FULL.....and give them instructions over the phone of WHERE and WHEN to send to your new location ...I KNOW I know ....but its important. UHAUL talked to me continually, VERY VERY POLITE, and emailed me continually, COMMUNICATION was excellent and for approx 2,500$ I moved from ARK TO NC. and 2 men and a truck gave me a 12,000$ estimate .....NO THANKS........... U HAUL U R the BEST .....!!!!!! THE Girls on the fork lifts are amazing. !!

When I checked out my equipment I was told a 30 dollar hold would be placed on my card for a deposit. When I returned the trailer they didn't refund me the amount they said. The guy who received the trailer told me the additional 30 taken out was to cover any extra miles. Which is not corresponding to what the guy who rented me the trailer out. Either it's a hidden fee or workers don't understand well what they are doing. I actually making a post on Google review on this along with social media review. I also work with various distributors that I would be passing this information to so they don't get into a bad situation.

Pick up location was busy but moved quickly and fine. Friendly staff. Our trip was on a rainy day. About 30 minutes into our trip the driver side windshield wiper arm came apart. A clip bracket that holds it in place broke and flew off. Spent 15 minutes in pouring rain securing the wiper arm with one of my wife's hair ties as a temp fix. Reported this to the check in location. Was the only negative thing about the move.

I was told my installation would take 3-4 hours. In fact it took almost 9 hours. I dropped it off at 7:45 am and they called just before 6 pm saying it was done. The staff are great, but I believe this location needs more staff. I called around 3pm to check on my installation and hung up after being on hold for 45 minutes eith no answer. Once, the staff that are there are wonderful, but that location is so busy they need more staff. So, if I recommended this store, I would warn my friends that installation takes all day.

The staff was great. I needed a 6x12 trailer with ramp and it would have worked perfectly. But when I got back to my location and let the ramp down the entrance was reduced to 5 feet because of panels. Could not use. No refund offered🤨

I worked for U-Haul nearly 20 years ago on a part-time basis at this location. We were busy back then; and it's obvious the staff is just as busy today. The team did very well, and the equipment performed to standard. Thanks for being there!

I rented a dolly for 2 days, one of the employees said they got a real nice one left behind recently and let me rent it. But the next day I found out a family member passed and I completely forgot about the dolly in the old apartment. When I went to return it the following morning, I explained my situation and they gave me grace on the late fee. That meant more to me than they realize. Absolutely love this location now!!!

The staff was all pleasant, but they seemed highly understaffed and disorganized. Our truck was not ready. Someone else had the key and was off-site. Mileage wasn't recorded properly, which was handled at checkout. Biggest issue was not having the two furniture dollies we had requested. This move involved a sofa bed, so those were vital. Without them, the sofa was damaged in the process and fabric on the back was torn.

The truck was fairly dirty and had dust on the dashboard. The check-in process was a problem. I also booked online, and there was an issue with your booking process, it would only let me choose the hours of midnight to 330 am for a pickup time. I could not scroll or manually enter a time. I even backed out and started booking over again to try and get a logical time, but I had the same issue. So I booked for 330 am but planned on picking up at 830, but my reservations were canceled when I did not pick up at 330 am. You all need to fix that. The rep working at Southern storage helped fix the problem and I got a truck down the road. It's just not a great experience.

The dispatched me on a trailer that someone else took and were trying to not have to redo paperwork with me s told me to just take the one outside and they would remember the situation so just upload photos of wrong trailer.

Fantastic service all around! Our furniture arrived ahead of schedule with no damage. We love the metal containers which are easy to load and including furniture pads was a real plus. Our drivers were friendly and nice at both ends. We can't figure out why everyone isn't using U-HAUL!

Fire Mckenzie D. The moment I stepped up to the counter she had an attitude. I told her my name and she tells me I'm early and my truck isn't ready. I politely informed her that was incorrect. She immediately got an attitude and told me I was wrong and my confirmation email could have been incorrect. Okay, 15 minutes early, can I check in? Attitude, No you are early! Again my reservation was for 8 am. She rudely looks at me and says Sarah B, no....Michelle. She realized she was incorrect, instead of apologizing for HER mistake, she rudely checks me in. She then asks about a 15 dollar protection, I declined. She then rambles off a disclaimer that I understood 2 words of. I didn't say anything about her attitude, got my truck and left. When I returned, I sat in the return lane for 15 minutes, another person returned their truck behind me and instead of checking me in first, they check in the person behind me and leave me sitting another 10 minutes. I finally walk in after the second return processed before me and ask if I could get some service. He tells me I won't be charged anymore then he says wait, you owe more because of the miles. I figured but you just told me no. Then Mckenzie D comes in again with attitude towards me and treats the man she's helping like royalty. At this point I am livid and commence to telling Mckenzie D just how much of an absolute waste she is in customer service among other things! I will NEVER go there again, and I will tell everyone to stay away!!!!! I was unable to speak with a manager but I will Monday! If not for Mckenzie D, my experience would have been amazing! She ABSOLUTELY RUINED MY DAY AND MY OPINION OF UHAUL!!!! She is horrible and needs some extra training. That disclaimer she rambles off definitely needs some attention. I had no idea what she said and still don't. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!

Online was quoted 29.95 for the 15 foot for 24 hours, My card and paperwork says $59.95, I asked the agent, he said it will be $29.95 as long as I bring it back with in the 24 hour time frame, I brought it back the same day and was still charged $59.95. Disappointing,

My rental from start to finish was a total fiasco. The app is junk. Trying to call and get someone to help is impossible. I was put on hold for forty minutes, so I drove to the store and when I got there I was still on hold there were no customers in the store and the workers were loitering outside shooting the breeze. They screwed my rental up so bad I had to postpone my move and spent 3 extra nights in a hotel which cost me an extra 325 dollars. Then today they darned near screwed it up again. If Amber hadn’t of been there we would have been screwed. The workers need to realize the customer makes plans to move and relocate sometimes from long distances. They should do whatever it takes to get the customer a key and a truck no matter what. If they can’t learn the computer system it’s time to hit the road. Amber is the only on at that store that has any snap. She’s managing a crew of misfits and knuckleheads.

Move in was difficult. Unit is about 3 feet off the ground. I keep a stool just inside my door for entry. I couldn’t back the truck up to it bcuz there are U-Hail trailers parked every where! Big, long rows of them. I had just enough room to drive the 15 foot truck down to my unit. Oh my unit… a week or so after I began moving things in, I got a new neighbor. Instead of just asking me to move my car, she chose to threaten me with physical violence! Yes, after raising her voice & going with the most colorful language possible, which I'lll spare you the details of, she threatened bodily harm. i informed the office & the guy said he'd, "… never had this happen before.". And then it happened again a few days later. So i reported it to the office, again. This time in person. A young man named Marty, apologized profusely. He offered to escort me back down bcuz i misplaced my phone during the verbal assault. I was rattled. Marty said he would leave a report & that if it were him, she’d be asked to leave. I haven’t seen her since that day, but now that I have everything in, I’m not there very often, so I’m not sure what’s happened with her bcuz no one has ever spoken to me about it, They finally got the indoor/climate control units air conditioner fixed. It was broken the whole first month I was there. And the bathroom was out of order for plumbing issues for 2-3 weeks during that time too. The gate to access the outdoor units stops opening/closing after 9:59pm, which is incredibly inconvenient this time of year. It so hot, I go so late in the day that I’ve gotten stuck in there 2 or 3 times. You would think once you’re inside it would just open to let you out but nope! When I say gate locks at 9:59pm, I mean 9:59. You can’t go in or out at 10pm. All in all I’ve been disappointed actually. I was quoted $89 but am told it’s $109 instead. And there is a rate hike this month. I likely won’t be sticking around. The one bright spot is to walk in and see Marty’s smiling face and hear him asking me about my day. Thoughtful kid!

I could not access my storage unit because of the trailers that were back there and because of my neighbor that had her storage unit back there was spray painting and being really rude and almost hit me with her car so no, I would not recommend the storage unit to anybody to ever use it so no I am not happy with it Have a great day

Everything was good with truck but the storage issue with dealing with the girl in Springdale ark was awful , she was not listening to what we were talking about and we told her to call the 800 customer service to verify about the storage situation and she refused and said she doesn’t call the 800 number , explained again that she needed to confirm with them and continued to refuse , in my opinion she was the worst customer service I dealt with and would not recommend this place to anyone because of her

I don't appreciate how there was no elevator. They told us all the small units are upstairs, meaning anyone who doesn't have a crap load of stuff is forced to break their back to move in. I used to use storage at a uhaul in Rogers and their elevator never worked in the nearly 2 years we used that unit. Uhaul should invest more in comfort and convenience for customers who may desperately rely on their services. Why have a 2 story storage facility with no elevator? I already spent $1700 getting the truck and moving halfway across country with no cruise control. Why is the last step of the moving process unnecessarily hindered? Also, customer service sent us to this location when we had chosen another location. And then when we arrived, this new location had no record of our reservation even though it was all present on the uhaul app. Overall, this was the worst moving experience I've had with uhaul. I work for Enterprise and the only reason I bothered to use uhaul is because I knew I also needed storage and thought this was the most cost effective option. Never again. I'll just rent a truck with Enterprise next time and try to find storage elsewhere. There are larger units at a better price point at cheaper facilities that don't require me to hoise furniture upstairs in a large metal hangar that was hotter than the actual desert I just moved from.

Jim, Robert, and Stephanie are very difficult to work with. One person would say one thing and we would think any issues were settled. Then next we know another person is saying something else. Jim lied to us on so many occasions. He accused us of being his competition when that was never the case. He looked for any possible reason to both us. His minions Robert and Stephanie followed Jim’s lead by creating chaos for our company. They both lied as often as Jim would.

To many homeless and druggies hanging around the facility coming off the train tracks. They sit and sleep in the empty trucks that are left unlocked and open at all times. Had to bring another person with me as I loaded my trailer of my stuff just to watch the trailer that they didn't go thru my stuff while I was inside loading carts to bring out! Then while I was making some trips I noticed they are paying for units inside and have codes to get in which they have the right I guess but I don't feel safe with them around the whole lot out front needs to be fenced off for better security and the lack of enough staff they stay busy inside till they rent trucks they don't know who is hiding in trucks or the storage units! And after all the Rat droppings I found in my unit from someone have food or something they shouldn't have! I will not tell anyone to rent here as long as that is not addressed. But on that same note I've had units at different companies and they all have this issue so it's not just a Uhaul problem but if you want to stand out and make your customers feel safe it would be a good thing! This is an issue that slowly started getting worst over the last year and I was part of a massive clean up of the homeless camp that was in the woods right next door and the hundreds of people we had to clean up after so I'm well aware of this issue at hand and willing to answer any questions you might have to make this better for everyone but my time here had to end. But the staff even with all the turn over for I think the 8 years I was here they are helpful and if they don't know something they are up front about it and find another staff that can help. I had to make 3 different reservations for one unit. I did them online but when I called to ask questions, no one could find my reservation even though I had a confirmation number. I had reserved the smallest unit available on the ground floor. The 2nd reservation that I made with Stephanie on the phone, she didn't mention that it was upstairs...so when I arrived at the unit to move my items in I had to select a different unit that was not upstairs and a much larger unit than I needed. Cost me over twice as much. Then large unit I was given, was filthy and full of bugs...but I instructed my daughter to clean it before she checked out so we didn't get any additional charges. Then I ended up being charged for two units! I had to call and get one credited back, which was easy. However, the whole process was difficult and I will not be back.

Was not aware my unit required a FLIGHT OF STAIRS TO ACCESS. Who knowingly would rent a storage unit requiring a buggy to unload a truck piece by piece onto...push buggy 50 yards from climate control to NON CLIMATE CONTROL thru swinging doors, unload each piece, manually carry it up a flight of stairs to another buggy...push loaded 2nd buggy another 25 yards to a 5×5 unit under a metal roof in AUGUST. I was by myself! 62 years old! But I did it! I will never do it again and will warn others of the fact it was a surprise.

We had a very frustrating experience with our U-haul trailer return and check in for our storage units at the Rogers, AR 8th street location. When we arrived at the 8th St location, the GM, Tanner Theobald was not friendly, nor helpful in anyway whatsoever. He was not informative or even apologetic that their elevator was broken. I am disabled and had no choice but to drive to the Springdale, AR, due to the elevator being out of service and him having no 1st floor storage units available. This caused us to be charged late fees upon returning both of our trailers to our original drop off location in Rogers. We inquired about changing our drop off location to the Springdale location, since we were there anyway and were simply told “It’s cost prohibitive. You’ll need to return them to the Rogers location. Both locations were understaffed which caused us even more delays thus causing us to be even later. The gentleman that checked us in at the Springdale location was friendly and helpful, but failed to give us full access instructions, which again, caused us further delays since they were short staffed. The ONLY redeeming experience I received was from James, at the Rogers location. He was the only person that understood my predicament.

I need some help with an ongoing problem with U-Haul. I completely moved out of my storage unit on May 24, 2023. At that time, the customer representative assured me that he would stop my auto payment charge monthly charge after he checked my empty storage unit # 2263, Springdale, AR. However my Bank of America MasterCard showed a complete June charge for $65. I called your toll-free 800 number 3 times @ got two different people. The last one said the storage unit personnel would have to take care of that & transferred me. Someone answered the call but it dropped shortly thereafter. So I then went back into the Springdale office and asked for a credit back to my MasterCard and the stopping of the automatic payment charge for a unit that I was no longer in. The customer rep told me he could not do that, but the manager Miss Graham would have to do that. I called her cell phone twice and left two messages. Never received a call back, so returned to the Springdale office a second time. at that time I got a great customer representative who called a manager. The manager said he would stop the automatic payment enrollment that day and I would get either a check in the mail or a credit back on my MasterCard. I have had terrible experiences every time I rent a new storage unit, and the one I got yesterday will absolutely be my last with u-haul. The manager cannot be reached. The units never get unlocked when they say they will. I was forced to accept a wrong unit because no one would do their job to go unlock the unit I originally requested, only to find while the movers were on the clock that the wrong unit was so short I couldn't fit my refrigerator inside. So I ended up having to pay the movers for an extra day of work and an extra day of a u-haul trailer due to your staff's failure in the first place. Your incompetence has now cost me at least $200 extra than it should have, not to mention the HOURS Ihave waited around for your staff to unlock doors half a day or a full day later than they said they would. I will strongly urge anyone I know NOT to ever rent from your facility again, for their financial well-being and sanity.

Reservation was made online and when I went into the facility, the reservation could not be found even though I had my reservation number. After almost 45 minutes and being told several times they did not have a unit for me, one was located but at a higher price than what was given to me in my reservation. The representative said they could not override the monthly rate (although paying for a year upfront). We settled on a 13th month free and paying the higher price although the 13th month was communicated as a benefit of paying the original amount for a year in my initial reservation. At no time did the manager, Emily Graham, take the time to help or even come out of her office to assist me or her employees that were struggling to correct the situation. A unit was finally located but I could not move in as it had to be cleaned out first. While the employees that actually tried to help me were very nice, they clearly did not know how to navigate the system to handle my situation. Most disappointing was the laziness of the manager and unwillingness to lift a finger to help. I would only recommend this location because of the employees on the floor and their willingness to help customers.

Set up everything in advance, but after loading all my stuff to be taken to my storage there was a lock on the unit, it was already in use. They had three high schoolers working. I had to wait two hours before I was assigned another storage unit, but because of it already being late hours I was made to open the back gates and lock the loaded truck in the back (a 24 hour hold). When I returned the next day the storage unit was twice as much a month as I requested. This place has no proper security, and nobody working that knows what they are doing.

We have rented this storage room for many years (2011). We noticed recently that it was being pilfered regularly. Several items - 50 yr. old toy Tonka truck was missing, boxes with decorative pumpkins were gone. One day a LARGE box with only 2 pumpkins was there - two days later, box and items were gone. We have spent a great deal of money for this and we expected it to be safe and not plundered for garage sales, etc.

The sliding doors to enter were broken we were told to go to the back doors the ramp was blocked there was not easy access since the front doors were broken. Then we had to wait for the manager for 20 minutes to come and take a lock off the unit so we could put our stuff in there. The manager was not onsite because it was 6 pm looks like the employees should have had the proper keys to assist with lock removal. The employees that were there was nice and did apologize. It was just a very stressful day after driving 5 hours there and then having to wait for someone to come and remove a lock when there should have been keys left there.

Paid two months of rent in June for July and August. In September went to the facility and paid for September. Then on September 3rd corporate took two months rent out of my checking account saying we were two months behind. But according to the general manager we were current and had never been behind otherwise we would have been charged $60 for two months late fees and $50 to reinstate our storage rental. Everyone was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is I requested a storage unit located ground level because I'm storing large appliances and was told there was one available. when I checked in after paying I was informed it was upstairs. I'm a small woman and had to move them upstairs.

The check in process was a joke, I was in line for over 20 minutes, then it took the person a long time to find my reservation, which I did online. I also purchased a lock, that was not there, the General Manage said he was going to go to another location across town and would have it in 30 minutes. When I returned after 4 hours, a new staff was there and i had to explain the situation two more times and no one still had the lock. Move my things in and still no lock. My husband had to run to Walmart for a lock and still made it back before the General Manager. Austin the final person that helped me was very nice and seemed genuinely sorry about all the issues and refunded my money for the lock. Nice facility, but the management was a joke. This was the worst customer experience I had in a long time. Moving should be the hardest part, but checking in to U-Haul was the hardest thing.

I appreciate how helpful everyone was The manager went above and beyond to get our u-boxes delivered and picked up in a timely manner. The manager was always helpful when we came in. The staff were also attentive. They even helped me open my storage door that was too heavy for me. 'The u-boxes were a handy way to move from Oregon to Arkansas. The process took 6 months from the time we loaded 1st box (we used 3) until we just cleaned out storage unit this week. Thank you so much!

Overall great, there was a small disconnect between the U-Haul corporate site and the franchised location which the staff resolved promptly. - I didn't know I needed to check in first with my code then I could input the code by the entrance to gain access to the facility.

I came to rent another unit same size/temp control. New guy was trying to be helpful but: rented me non climate ,moved me out of my several year unit (he asked if I wanted to take care of nearing rental fee) but rented me another unit.Noticed charges were wrong and called.. spoke to manager, he said would take care of.. got notification but money difference has not hit account.. I think it’s $5 and truthfully after moving things from one unit to another I am done dealing with it. Do not want anything’ or want to cause trouble as life is too short

I had to have a storage unit for abt 3 yrs. Once, someone moved things into a unit next to mine, and his stuff had roaches, and they got into my unit. I told the mgr, Freddie, and he went and got 2 bombs and set them off in my unit, then gave me another unit the same size to move my belongings to. It kept my belongings from getting infiltrated with roaches, and I am very grateful to him. This was at the U-Haul on Twin City Ave. in Springdale, AR.

Overall we had a good experience but this comment is directed to management and not the employees. The only downside was on our move in day. It was the 1st day of the month and there were only 2 people on staff to handle the crowd. It was a 30 45 minute wait in line, (at least) to get to the customer service rep and this was after a tiring cross county move. The staff did seem to answer everyone's questions and didn't rush to get to the next customer. I truly felt sorry for them as everyone (young, old and those with children) just needed to be waited on so they could get done and out of there. We were there 3+ hours past closing and the crew still had customers waiting and trucks to check in. I would assume that the first and end of months are ALWAYS hectic and feel the store should be fully staffed to provide a better experience for the customer as well as less stress for the staff.

On monday I did came to the store and someone askme how she can help me, I told her that i need to speak to MR Fredy, At that time i dint know who is mr Fredy but when i answered to the nice lady; everyone silence for a minute, after i see no one wants to talk to me, i ask: “ is he here” then Fredy starts to talk to me , he was there sit doing something at his computer, he talk to me unfriendly and stated that he is attending an other customer on the computer, ( I asking somebody from customer service call me please to do more details 4795309427) . again all this stared saturday when i went to the store and ask my refouns of 2 months that i pay in advance, an employee call Fredy and after the employee finish the calling, he said to me tha his boss told that the sstore do not have a sistem to refound my money and that star the problem saturday and finish last monday. Please have someone call me , in order this bad experience do not happened to an other customers

Everyone seemed nice, but they very obviously didn't know what they were doing. One lady didn't know which application to use to start a reservation for a storage unit and tried to rent me a truck before being corrected by a coworker. Another lady called her district manager three separate times while we were there for things that should have been able to be handled on site. She also didn't know where my storage unit was. By the time she found a map, I had already found my unit myself. The third employee who set up my unit seemed confused as well during the reservation process and had open wounds on his dirty hands, which is concerning during the COVID-19 pandemic. All the people here need to be better trained and more competent in their duties. I understand there were two people in front of me, but it should not have been a 30 minute wait time to be served. The employees seemed perpetually confused, and struggled to do basic tasks like unlocking trucks and printing copies of contracts. I spent two hours at Uhaul, when I should have spent 45 minutes, max. I'm a college student, so my parents drove five hours to help me pack. My experience here put us so far behind schedule that we had to spend an extra night traveling back home. The facility was nice, but the customer service was terrible. I would never rent anything in store from these people again. The only bright side was the free month of rent.
