I ordered 12 furniture pads and one utility dolly. I didn’t get it when i got my truck. I have been charged for it though! Please reserve it
Dumisha BMy pickup and drop off locations were both changed from my original reservation. This added over 200kms to my move. No explication, no apology, no compensation. This ruined my u-haul experience and I will NEVER use this service again. Appalling abuse of my time.

PHILIP SThe location was extremely busy, and unfortunately, there was a lot of confusion about the self check out options you have implemented, and the poor lady behind the counter was doing her absolute best and was receiving a lot of misdirected frustration and hostility she handled herself with poise and restraint, help the customers to the best of her ability But I hope that Uhaul makes it self check out options. More user-friendly, and less time-consuming customers seem to get frustrated. Overall experience for me. Excellent staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Five stars for the staff one star for yourself check out system sincerely loyal Uhaul customer.

RYAN MThe trailer we were given was not in good repair. The paint on the front panel was faded and seriously peeling. We asked if our piece of equipment could be traded with one sitting right next to it, but in much better condition. We were told that we couldn't have that one. No rational was provided. This didn't make sense as it was exactly the same piece of equipment, but in much better shape. The trailer we were given needs to be removed from the lineup and repaired before it is rented out again. I answered No The recommendation question because there was not a "maybe" option
VICTOR FThe equipment was suitable, and all of the U-Haul team members were polite, patient, and helpful. But making me use the app to complete the rental agreement process when I was there in person to collect the vehicle was annoying and frustrating. I want my rental experience to be completely human on human.

rey gPickup was dismissive, slow, and barely in English. I was pushed to the side so the employee could speak in another language with her friends from India, and help other people from India who were in line, before my rental was complete. I had to come back inside for assistance with the app, as well as calling into customer service to get a real person who actually cares to guide me along the way. The dollie I rented was not in the truck, adding to the time and distance I had to pay for by going back and forth between the uhaul site. I would absolutely not recommend this location, and I am very disappointed.

Saeid GThe trailer was dirty when I first received it but when I pointed out it was dirty and stunk, the staff were quick to clean and deodorize it. I was moving beds and other furniture and unfortunately it was raining and I discovered a previously patched corner of the trailer was still leaking.

Spinder GI was running late for the pick up. I was on hold the entire 30 minute drive from Richmond to surrey trying to advise, I would be 30 minutes late picking up the trailer. I arrived at the location and hung up. Then, despite having checked in online by providing my drivers license and credit card, with no security assurances for my drivers license picture, I had to line up inside for 15 minutes behind someone disputing their charges. The woman in the office was very good. An excellent multitasker, considering what she was dealing with at the time. It’s the process that I’m complaining about. She is the reason I gave it an average rating because otherwise it would be very poor. The online process of checking in was redundant and a waste of time. Then on return, your online system on the app for after hour returns has selections at the. He l out step that look like you have to pay again and does not allow you to say you already paid when you picked up the trailer. Very confusing. I eventually selected “other” in frustration and it worked. Also, the step shown in the video for confirming i am at the correct location does not actually happen on the app. I restarted several times hoping to initiate that. Also, it appears the app process is going to complete the transaction without allowing to put the pictures. The pictures part shows up as a surprise step at the very end. this also doesn’t match the instructional video. There is a greyed out button about photos that comes up in the first steps that looks like what you would use to add the photos but it has no response. Very confusing. Had to walk through the app 4 times then gave up decided to check out without providing pictures and was surprised by the photo part being at the very end. Suggest you make it user friendly for someone who uses it rarely.

I was on a bit of a hill unloading the trailer I rented from you. One of your staff came over and helped me push the cart up the hill to the door. I want to double emphasize that the staff there have been consistently helpful and willing to go above and beyond, and are a major reason why I continue to use Uhaul services and go to this specific Uhaul location. Unfortantely my storage unit did have a rat infestation, and I had to move my things out quickly; so I cannot in good conscience reccomend the location or use it again until the issue is solved for sure.

The rat infestation was the main reason why we moved out of this facility. All of our boxes had rat feces and droppings(poop) on it or the boxes were chewed up. I would not recommend this place due to the rat infestation as it is a health hazard.

The slope down from the sliding doors is difficult to manage with a fully loaded cart. Our unit was invaded by mice that chewed through the foam rear wall. Not sure why there was no plywood for a back wall. The staff were helpful but I was fairly unhappy with the facility overall.

They are redefining the free market system for which Canadians hold so dearly. Even the manager, tells me that, I rent at my own risk; if there be any rodent infestation of my storage unit. All caught on video tape.

Darren S | Overall ExperienceThe manager rips people off with extra charges. I was being charged $100 per month for late fees and then charged a $50 lien fee all within 30 days of late payment. Thats not even after 30days late, it is within 30 days. You should never have to pay half your rent in late fees. This owner us making a lot of money charging this to customers. I want revenue Canada to look into this income that I am sure he pockets. Also, the manager was very rude and sent threatening messages after I complained to the district manager. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE. GO ELSEWHERE

Steven C | Overall ExperienceThe UHAUL location on 84th Ave and King George messed up my storage reservation so I ended up at this location because it had a locker the size I needed. 3 other families were moving in at the same time, while one party was using all 3 carts and monopolizing the elevator. We complained to the front staff and finally were able to get to a cart. 1 elevator is no acceptable for a storage this size it was complete chaos. Once up to my locker another tenant had stuff all down the hallway. I cant wait to get my items out of this location. Even waiting to be processed the space is small and there as a line up of 5 people ahead of me. Im not happy with the service I received from UHAUL (either of the location).

The management seems to change over often doesn't make U-Haul look very good to us renters. Upon me moving out i purchased boxes I had to park near King George as the workers had all their trucks parked In front of the main doors and visitor parking. I was struggling carrying the boxes out to my car and the 2 employee's standing talking one on their phone in front of the door backed out of my way rather than offering to help me. Then on moving out day again the trucks were parked in front of the loading doors. I asked if he could move the truck he said no not really and their was 3 empty spots for the truck. Over all U-Haul would be a great company if the staff was trained better and monitored.
amanda b | Overall Experiencei lost my keys and was told i could gain access to the locker myself by bolt cutters, grinder or locksmith. i had tools so i chose that option. ended up causing a little damage to the door and they charged me almost 1000.00 to replace the door and did not accept any responsibility for the employee that told me i was able to cut the lock myself by sharing the cost of the replacement or anything. they are extremely rude men that work there and have horrible customer service and people skills.

They had way too many trucks parking around with rarely any parking spots open for our regular cars when we needed something from our storage units. Upon move out tbe staff was absolutely terrible and rude. We had 4 storage months for about a year paying over $400 a month for the units and when we went to move out the staff kept being rude to us because we we had our truck parked in front so we could load. Obviously moving out 4 units takes time. They kept rushing our moving guys and kept being rude during the entire process. Very poor customer service there.
