They were rude and very pushy. They were slow. Did not hock the trailer up properly. The lights were good on only one side.not happy. I was in a hurry that day.

This location has the worst customer service, if you don’t check the kilometres, they were going to charge me extra, they were very rude when I corrected them, I think they trying to rip all customers at this location, what a shame to be associated with Uhaul. I think I might change from uhaul going forward

we came by friday night to drop some stuff off at our locker and 2 of the employees were yelling swearing and calling each other names.... even though it seemed like they were laughing also if I had my kids with me i would have yelled at them

We reserved a 10 ft truck directly from the Surrey location and received a confirmation number via email. On the day we arrived to pick up the truck we were told that they didn’t have one for us and we were on a waiting list and may not get one that day. They tried to get us to take a van instead which would have cost a lot more money because we would have had to make multiple trips ( pay per km). We drove home and called U-Haul customer service but they couldn’t seem to help us. I called the Surrey location again and they once again tried to get us to rent a van. I think they purposely overbook their trucks and then trying to get desperate people to a van instead. A very poor practice if this is the case! We had given up and my husband drove to our storage unit where we had planned on removing our belonging so we didn’t have to pay for another month. The storage company allowed us to pay for 5 days instead of an entire month. Thanks Public Storage! I was persistent and polite but very firm when I spoke to each of the U-Haul employees. One of the reps (Farisa) I had spoken to at Surrey U-Haul called me back when she noticed that a truck had been returned early and she said she would hold it for us. We started 2 hrs after we were supposed but we were able to get our belongings out of our storage locker. Unfortunately they could not reverse the charge for the extra 5 days. I left a message for the general manager at the Surrey location but he had not called me back. Except for Farisa, all the other U-Haul employees were unable or unwilling to do anything except pass the blame. The truck was filthy. The widows were so dirty it was difficult to see through them. The passenger door had to be slammed shut multiple time before it would finally close properly. The vehicle had very poor fuel efficiency. What a horrible experience. We would never use U-Haul again!

I originally booked for 6 hours. When went in for pick up, was pressured into booking for 3-4 hrs, then finally agreed on 5. When I returned the U-Haul, an hour earlier, I did not know where to return the keys and the office door was wide open. I was met by two ladies who would just yell "we're closed!" and we're not helpful and plainly rude. I would not recommend.

Explain why I was OVERCHARGED, a one day rental a little over 4 hours at a day rate if $19.95 and billed $191.00 and the staff was very rude!!!!!!! Thus the the 2nd time in 4 years you and this location has FUCKED ME OVER!!!!! I am canceling this charge on my credit card

More staff!! They was understaffed and very busy with customers. Some customer took up almost a hours time with some staff members. I was very disapointed with that I had to have my van changed 3 times due to lack of staff in the lot to help move vans around. Along with big mix ups in the office.

Have the equipment cleaner. I had to wash the windshield when I got it. I could barely see out of it. That was the only thing wrong. The express check in was very quick and the lot attendant was very quick to get my truck. I only had the truck rented for 5 hours, but totally satisfied in the way I was treated. Will definitely be going back and recommend this location, to my friends and family

Attendant at the counter knew nothing about the equipment available for rent (quite literally zero). Instead of her walking outside and looking at the available trailers she had ME run out multiple times wasting my time like an idiot looking for a number. after much frustration she found what she was looking for on the computer, and was asking me what vehicle I was towing with the trailer...? I replied none I'm towing wood. I had to explain to her the difference between towing and being towed, it took some time I'm not the smartest person on earth, but with allot of simple words and hand gestures she finally had a Aha! moment. the next hurdle was figuring out how to change the make and model of the car doing the towing, we were stuck on this for far too long but finally after the lineup got big she gave up and just turned the screen towards me, gave me the mouse and let me do it for her (FYI you double click on the tab). finally all done in the office YAY I was about to drive away with the trailer when I noticed one of the 4 tires was flat. like 0psi flat. I had to go back in the office and tell her the tire was flat, she looked at me with the blankest stare... at this point I'm thinking what ever I've got one good tire on that side right? do you really need both? but as I was walking back I noticed an air-compressor so I pulled around and stopped beside it. Tires had 8psi, 50psi, 65psi, and 20psi you cant make this stuff up. Oh yeah when the air-compressor turned on the boys hiding in the back finally came out to "Help" me, thanx guys only took you 40 minutes.

The whole management was a disaster, we were unable to move our stuff as we got the truck really late about 2 hours late than booked for and we only had it reserved it for 6 hoyrs and they would not extend the time on our truck as they said thwy have another reservation for it at 2pm. We were down by 2 hours for our moving and nobody did nothing about it. We already had everything pre checked and we still had to wait for 2 hours

My original booking was for pickup at a different location, but they did not have the truck available. I called this location and they told me they had nothing available either. Eventually I called the main u haul line and they told me that they had reserved one for me at this location. I phoned to confirm and spoke with the manager who asked why I didn't trust him. When I arrived at the store the manager was busy and the person at the counter told me there was no truck available. I had to wait 10 minutes for the manager to be free before being able to get a truck. I asked the manager if he would be giving me any sort of discount and he said that he would consider it when I got back with the truck. He left away after that. I then remembered seeing a sign for a $50 reservation credit and asked the person at the counter about that. She hadn't heard of it and had to ask someone else for help. That person refused to provide me with the $50 because it wasn't their location's fault. I said that didn't seem like it should be my problem. She gave me a 1-800 number to call and they processed the credit. It took over an hour past my scheduled pick up time before I had a truck. When I returned with the truck the manager was not free and I didnt want to wait around any longer to discuss an additional discount. I will not be using u-haul again.
