rented a pick up, it was a 2016 ford 3/4 ton 4x4 with 22000 kms on it. it was filthy, the drink tray was broken, the windshield had so many bugs on it I had to go try and scrape some of them off at a gas station so I could see enough to drive. Truck ran fine but was really filthy. Then I go to pay.....staff didn't know what they were doing, couldn't explain why my bill was so high and automatically charged my visa after I told the first attendant that I was going to pay with cash. What a gong show. I have rented lots of trucks with your company, without ever being offered a deal or promotion for a rental. After the last one, I don't think I'll rent from you again unless I have to.

Trailer was awesome just was not clean !! Didn't bother me though ... Somebody used it for gravel and drywall or something .. I just swept most of it out myself !! I don't think the brakes were working because I had to really step on it , serge brakes , Trailer Tracked very well , low and heavy .. Please check the brakes for the next customer . I probably used twice the brake power I needed to .. Thanks and we will see you again .. JA

My only concern was making sure I returned the truck with the correct amount of fuel...so I had to slightly overfill it to avoid the surcharge...all interaction with uhaul employees was first rate

Transaction was smooth and fast. On that particular day the printer was broken so not sure if anything was legally binding, considering there was no walk-around document signed, but should purchase and have a second printer on standby for those future cases. Except that your printer will break from the heavy business usage so always have two. Thanks!

the staff need to be trained better to handle UBOX transaction. Only one staff had some knowledge to process the transaction.. that too he had to call the Manager many times to complete it.

Speed up the service. The paperwork I was given at pick-up indicated the gas tank was half full. I had to go back into the office with a picture taken with my phone showing the tank was only 3/8ths full. Also, at drop off, service was very slow. Three of your guys were inside, with only one customer. Why not have them all wearing headsets, one outside greeting incoming customers/vehicles, telecommunicating necessary information back to the people inside to speed up the customer drop-off process?

3 different customers, including myself, waited 40 minutes for our rental vehicles (scheduled for 7 am pickup) while 2 staff checked in vehicles dropped off overnight. These were not the vehicles we were there to rent. Seemed to me it would have been better customer service to get us checked out with our vehicles first.

i received an email saying that my 5x9 ramp trailer was reserved at that location when i got there they told me there was no trailer reserved for me so i had to rent a 6x12 was i did not need but they dropped the rental rate to $20.00 for the inconvience

I will never again use uHaul. The poorest customer service, long lineups, barely maintained equipment, along with many other little things make for the most unpleasant experience. UHaul, never again. I will gladly pay more for on time equipment reservations and better customer service.

When the fella unplugged the connection for the trailer, he just yahked on the trailer connection. Please instruct your technicians to grasp the vehicle connector plug and the trailer connector plug then release the connection. When he yahked on the trailer connection. the wires on my vehicle connection were disconnected from the force. Think about unglugging 2 extension cords. Repeatedly doing this will eventually damage internal plug wiring.

You need more than three dollies. You should have more in reserve. The waiting around for the dollies to move boxes to the storage unite should not even be a factor. There should be no waiting for dollies.

Very busy long weekend for this location. We were accidentally given the wrong truck. The staff fixed the truck mix-up, but then had mixed up the blankets and equipment. Perhaps there is a way for the team to be better organized.

My only issue is the way fuel usage is tracked. Our truck had not been filled back to half fuel. This was pointed out to the attendant who marked the fuel gauge line on a paper. We only drove the vehicle 9km during the rental. It is very difficult to know how much fuel you need to put back into the tank at these low distances. We put $15 into the tank, which brought it back to half full, so we ended up paying for our use, plus the fuel that the previous renter had used as well. I would like to suggest that with local day use rentals,you should charge the customer a rate based on how many litres the vehicle uses per km divided by the price per litre of fuel at the gas station closest to your location times the number of km the customer has driven , and fill your vehicles yourselves.
