I rent from this location a few times per year for convenience but now just as much because of the awesome staff. It is always a pleasant experience working with people who know what they are doing, are always pleasant and continue to be very helpful.

was given incomplete and inaccurate information when making a reservation in person. created a problem the day before truck pickup. was told my truck could be picked up at different location nearby but when I called there was no answer. National reservation center called to confirm new pickup location but I was told my truck may not be available at my desired pickup time and that there was really no guarantee it would be available at all because the customer was scheduled to return it but there's no guarantee. had to spend a lot of time trying to confirm a rental day before I needed it and ended up with a smaller truck than desired. VERY disappointing

My truck stalled and found out the battery cable was loose. I lost over an hour of moving time. I called uhaul and could not get through at all. Should be a direct number not tye run around download an app etc. Just ridiculous. I also got charged an extra fee of $28 not sure why yet. I put the gas just above the level I got it so I hooe tge charge was not for gas.

Upgrade your software. There was a very large line at pick up this morning caused by the painfully slow reservation system. Staff did the best they could though. But check in shouldn’t take 20 minutes per person.

Downloaded the App. Reserved the vehicle. Went over to the Tustin location. Provided friendly and knowledgeable help by the young man at the counter. Inspected the van, drove way. Picked up and dropped off the load. Returned van to store. Kindly greeted by a center staff member who informed he would take care of everything. Excellent and smooth rental assistance offer by Tustin's location personnel. Thank you.

The interior of the truck was covered with dust. The staffs didn’t show me where the truck was even though I was the only customer in the shop and there were three of them. The truck they assigned me was blocked by another truck. This was my first disappointment at this location.

Poor customer service, lied about notifying me regarding the after hours service fee. Yet another way U-Haul wants to sneak in a fee. Last time I was charged $5,100 which over drafter my account and made me late on my rent. In summary the last two times I’ve done business with U-Haul it’s been poor. Need to find a competitor. I guess I need to give Penske, Budget, or Enterprise a try. Can’t be worst then U-Haul.

If you insist on using the app, don't park the truck in a way that doesn't allow the pictures the app requires. Make the app work properly and make it more user friendly.

There was no place to park and we couldn’t understand why because we only saw ONE customer in the office, so why were there no parking spots available knowing we had reservations? We even called 15 minutes prior to our arrival to let them know we are on our way. There were too many people/moving laborers milling in front of the office, which was extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. The agent insisted the credit card we presented has to have a “bank” name on the card. My wife showed him the MC/Visa logo on the card and he still had a problem. My wife explained the card works. He assumed it before even trying to use it to see if it goes through, and to his shock the card was approved. Agents shouldn’t argue with customers if they’re this uneducated about valid credit cards, since U-Haul sales transactions are predominantly done via credit cards. Professionally, the agents should walk the customers to the rental van/truck and “show” them where to pick up, drop off, etc. instead of just “pointing” to the direction of the back door and hoping we know the rules. My wife had to keep asking agents in the back questions about where everything went rather than the agent to get off his seat and show us. Extremely unprofessional.

Uhaul changed my pick up and drop off day before so that the distance was longer than the maximum miles required. I didn't even know the location for drop off had changed until day off. I'm out $9 and time for something that was hardly disclosed.

Our only recommendation is to add lighting inside the storage unit. we had to bring a flashlight to see what we were doing inside of the storage unit. On another note, the Staff and convience was great. Thank you team.

The staff was very helpful and everything was great. The main thing I wasn't happy with is that the 2nd floor has no elevator and you have to walk up 12 steep stairs. That made it more challenging. But they do have units on the ground level you can use. It's a smaller location so they only had 1 large one available on the first floor.

U haul should give back unused monies for partial month(s). I.e, February 1-March 1. You move out February 20th, 8 days should be returned ($$)

Whenever I am in Orange County for work, and need a trailer or moving materials, the Uhaul Moving and Storage of Tustin is my first choice. Staff is always willing to work with me and ask questions to ensure that the truck, trailer, storage unit, or materials that I am seeking, will do the job. Kaylee / Kayleigh (I apologize for not getting your name in its correct spelling) helped me with my storage unit a few days ago. She made sure my items fit in the unit, after realizing that the unit I reserved, was too small. Excellent customer service. The owner Edgar is always willing to help. He closed out my unit yesterday since I didn't need it anymore. He valued my feedback. Again, always positive here. I'm sure I will be back soon.

My experience has been great and this Tustin Location always has a helpful staff willing to accommodate any questions or concerns I may have, or if I want to come to the Tustin location to make a payment they have a friendly and helpful staff to do that and I appreciate all of your employees hard work. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. The facility had some issues. First, the parking situation was poor, making it difficult to access the storage facility. The parking lot was small, and there were many trucks and inadequate spaces to park near the storage facility. The sliding latch on the storage unit didn’t work properly for the duration of the month. I waited in a long line at least twice to alert someone. There was no way to call for help from the back. No one answers a phone locally. Lastly, the double doors were never accessible, forcing customers to use a single door, unless they waited in the long line in the front to notify a U-Haul rep, or the customer happened to catch a rep in the parking lot.

Only downsides were that I was told it closed at 8 but it actually closed at 7, and also none of the larger doors were open and staff said they wouldnt/couldn't open them so we had to get a king sized matress through a doors which was a struggle. The staffed did give us a hand with it tho, so i appreciate that

I moved out on 03/09/2022. The management on duty was not in for that week a schedule change so it reflects that I have a balance due 03/10/2022. I already vacated the unit. My Unit was Closed out a week late spoke to Kaylee at Tustin 714-804-3023 . I should have no balance or nothing showing owed. Left unit wide open and cleaned out on 03/09/2022

There is a Homeless guys leaving right in front of unit 254. I didn’t feel safe at all leaving the door open and unlock while I was moving out. Also, there is others storage rental properties that would make your life easier having elevators with a lower cost per rental. In regards the Homeless guy I think he lives in the unit.

We had trouble inputting our access code since there were three keypads. We didn't which one to use. So we ask the guy (an employee?) inside and he said storage hours is closed despite the website saying it closes at 10PM; we were there at 9PM. I managed to figure out which keypad and gained access to the storage facility; we started moving my stuff into my storage unit. Soon after, he called the cops for burglary. We had to explain to the cops everything. Bottom-line is, the person inside the facility did not even know when the storage hours of operation are and was rude/extremely unprofessional. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else moving in late at night.

The manager Eddie was a great help to me and I’m very happy with the experience. My only concern was that there was no room to unload storage items because the parking lot was full of the Uhaul trucks and trailers. It’s seemed as if the company doesn’t care much about the storage part but more of the trucks and trailer rentals. If there can be a better way to load and unload storage I believe you’ll get better Buisness. Thanks!

Even thought we had reserved a unit three months in advanced, when we arrived, not only was there not a unit of our size available, there was no unit available for us to rent at all. We had to find a location with an available unit and then come back to return the truck. The staff member who worked with us was very apologetic, and she was very helpful in directing us to an alternative location, but it was still inconvenient for our reservation to have been over-looked.

The parking lot is too crowded the office staff specifically Francisco are incredibly friendly but some yard staff are just jerks. It’s very difficult to get your car back to the loading dock to load stuff out of your storage and Been more difficult to return U-Haul trucks. staff Ordered me to move a very large U-Haul truck in that incredibly tight crowded parking lot I asked them to do it because it was so tight but Christian refused to help and navigating that area is incredibly difficult

I would have loved to have had a larger storage space. The ones available were kind of small. I had a very tough time with my unit latch. It wasn’t until my daughter noticed a line on the wall and lined it up with the mark that I was able to apply the lock. I don’t think anyone should have to go through that. Had she not noticed I would have gave up and reported in broken. There’s no way everyone will recognize that marking.

Zero help, the lock they provided me with boke on the 3rd use was told too busy to help me come back in 3-4 hours. I just paid storage unit for the month and had to vacate due to not big enough and was provided zero proration, witch every other facilities I contacted do provide, I suggest using them for truck rental and use others for storage

I want to give Sarah at this location a mention because she saved the day for us! We received incorrect information from another rep and based our reservation on it. When we called to confirm Sarah was able to fix the issue and went above and beyond to get us moved in! We thought we were going to have to park our truck full of belongings somewhere once we arrived and hope they weren’t stolen but Sarah got us all set up with a unit and even after leaving the office she sent us information to get us all set up for after hours move in. She deserves a huge kudos and a raise!
