James MThe prices they were charging me at the store did NOT match the quoted online reservation price. Store blamed it on Corporate. They did not have the utility dolly in stock that was reserved and it they were not on the truck as reserved 24 he in advance. I witnessed the store mgr “Matt” vaping inside the showroom. I was told he was in a “meeting “ and was too busy to assist when I requested he come out to help his associates who were busy with other customers. They were then going to charge me more than the quoted online reserved price confirmed for the dollies because their in-store pricing doesn’t match the online quote. I could hear Matt the manager inside the office and he was talking to someone about how he didn’t get to eat some sort of food, as he walked by me. He was not in a “meeting.” He stopped to assist for a min-let the associate finish and just walked away with no apologies for the inconveniences. I then had to nearly beg the associate to assist me with bringing the dollies to the truck, and take one myself. The associate told me to “take it up for corporate” and “this happens all the time.”

Robert LExtraordinarily poor weather conditions at time of return including freezing rain, snowstorm, 40+ mph wind gusts. Attempted to convert to 1 way rental but wasn't allowed to do this. Return trip was very dangerous and took hours longer.
Sean HThe fuel level was less than a 1/4 tank as stated. No one did a walk around like they used to do. I don’t feel there was enough staff to cover the amount of customers at the time.

Kristine KI went to pick up my truck rental via the 24/7 truck share program, but upon arrival there were no keys in my lockbox when I used the code provided in the app. I went back the next day and all I was offered was $10 a future rental. This entire situation costed me valuable time and money having to make multiple trips with my personal vehicle to move things when I should have had the rental like I reserved. I am extremely disappointed in this situation and perhaps even more so by the solution offered by this location.
CASEY HEasy, peasy. Turned equipment in a day early. Attendant assured me I'd get credit for one less day and make sure the miles were correct. I had over-estimated what I thought I would need. tx.

Natasha HWas charged for gas when we had already filled the tank up. Was never asked for miles before the truck was rented. Tried to get some help with the issues and got told there was nothing he could do was very rude and not helpful would not recommend. Renting a U-Haul for over 300 bucks then getting charged again incorrectly is really frustrating. Won’t use again.

Keith PMore description of the auto hauler trailer would have been helpful. My ‘67 Jeepster was almost too narrow to work on the trailer (1/4 of the tires hung off the inside of the ramps).

david oWhen I expressed my concerns the chains were hanging too low, I was reassured they were fine. On the second day of my drive to AZ, at a gas station stop, I noticed the chains were dragging. I had to unhooks the chains, wrap them and rebooks them to avoid the chaos from dragging. Also, one of the chain links had almost been rubbed completely through the metal from the drag. More training for the employee in Wausau is encouraged.
Cindy GNo problems with rental location. It was U-Haul's policies that will make me NEVER rent a U-Haul EVER AGAIN! My truck leaked from the right front roof area, boxes got wet, sturdiness fell apart making my belongings shift all over the truck! Had major damage to no repair on many items! Didn't keep damaged furniture as I wasn't putting it in a storage unit. Didn't know that in order to make a claim I had to have original receipts then less depreciation!!! You need to upload pic's & fill out forms. When I did speak with someone, they told me that U-Hauls trucks are water resistant, not water proof! Are you freaking kidding me? Who expects to pay what U-Haul charges & I went 1200 miles through bad rain storms & thinks it's Ok to leak water all over 40 years worth of my life's possessions??? Absolutely Unacceptable considering I was given NOTHING regarding these policies & was completely unaware! I'm still trying to collect with a claim & it's over 3 months later! My name was spelled wrong also, therefore creating major claim issues with finding my contract number & claim number. It was supposed to be corrected several times by the reps I talked to, however, of course that never got done either. Also, a weight & water test was supposedly done on the truck I rented afterwards. However, I was told by the returning truck location in Chesapeake, VA that the truck I just dropped off was already rented for the following morning & that no test would be done! So, how & when was this done? Also, at the drop off location, the man walked into the truck & plain as day said, "Yeah, this is where they always leak from, the right front roof area!" So, with that being said, it obviously happens more then is being told! I hired professional movers to load & unload my stuff through U-Haul so everything was packed correctly. The only mistake I did make was choosing U-Haul!!!!!! I WILL NEVER USE YOU AGAIN! AND, I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT THIS ISSUE!!!! I should've gone with any other mover! Extremely DISSATISFIED!

Greg WThe drop off point had hours of 9am to 5pm on New Years Day. At 930am the drop off was locked up with no one on site. I ended up taking pictures for proof of drop off and posted hours.
