We moved 900 miles away and Uhaul pods were the best way to move. We had plenty of time to load the 5 pods. They arrived safely to our new destination and had plenty of time to unload them. The price was most reasonable and no damage to our household items. Would definitely recommend them for your moving needs.

Sharon ABooked installation of hitch 2-3 weeks in advance and prepaid entire fee. I called your phone service the day before appt. To see if parts were at store and was told they were. (I did this because of the many poor reviews indicating problems online). Then, upon arriving for installation the next day I was informed no parts had arrived yet and was sent away. I had arranged for rides and taken time from work to do all this. The manager gave me his card and said he would be in touch, but I had to search him out to arrange another appointment and he said for certain he would call me about parts in 3 days——he never did and stopped answering his phone. The store phone continuously put me on hold; once for TWO hours and never let me get thru to find out if parts came in before I returned the next day. Finally I reluctantly called your National service rep, the first of whom could not help me after a 30 min. call, and the second, Helena, who placed me on hold so long my battery went dead, then miraculously, I thought, called me back later to say parts would be available for installation today. Today, hitch installed and seems fine. I would equate this experience with UHaul on a par with dental root-canal work without Novocain, and hopefully will never think to use your services again. Please work on your customer service. My advice to people reading this review: Be prepared for an arduous process beforehand when ordering hitches installation!

Julie CCustomer service and employees were exceptional. They did their best with what they had. The equipment was in poor shape the tire straps on the dolly were trimmed and did not reach the ratchet. I had to improvise and use my own ratchet strap. Bringing the equipment back employee tried to check equipment back in and he kept losing wifi connection and had to restart his palm pilot 3x. Then the system tried to double charge me. Employee made me late to my next appointment again not his fault due to system errors. Plan on speaking to the GM very soon. Suggested they perform preventive maintenance on their equipment before renting out and have discounts or reimbursement plans in place for inconveniencing customers and to prevent injuries and equipment failures.

I called the location and didn’t know the call was answered by some central person, so communications about delivery didn't actually get to people at the the location and no one took accountability. I was never told I needed locks and would be charged for them. The process for arranging the drop off at the destination in Washington state was a total mess. But, everything did arrive safely and on time. I’s use uboxes again knowing what I know now, I just wished the process had been less confusing.

Windshield wipers did not work , no: power windows, it bucked the whole time no cruise control for 16 hrs sucked! .The seat was horrible and hurt me.The vibration of the thing had my arms hurt for 2 days, mirrors didn't move so it was very difficult to drive. You guys should pay me to have driven that. I should get a huge credit because that was absolutely the worst I've ever had. And to top it off the radio was horrific , no bluetooth!

It can be interpreted that you can donate as long as it is in good condition, including mattresses and boxsprings. An employ explained to me yesterday that they are not allowed at all. I think that the notice should say that they are not allowed at all and if left there will be the fine. I understood the sign to say that if it was not in good condition, then the fee will be charged. I only closed my storage unit because I found stable housing abider being homeless for a while. I was able to use the storage unit for what it was needed for.

Jessie and Julia were particularly helpful to me during some difficult turns in the road throughout the time I had this unit. I can honestly say the West Springfield U-Haul staff raise the bar in outstanding customer service at a time when it's become a lost part of our society. IF only everywhere I went and everyone I encountered in my daily affairs were so bright, pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful our world would be a better place. This facility is consistently sparkling clean as well. If I could give these folks 10 stars I would. They all deserve it. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for making both of these traditional times in my life as smooth as they possibly could be. Please know you made a difference in my life if only for brief moments in time.
