No, I just want to say the Employee that help me on 5/26 was very polite, courteous, and informational . She really made me comfortable using a trailer for the first time. She was awesome!
MAURICE AJeff said he would refund the dolly rental since I didn’t end up using it and the green tag was not broken and no other dolly was placed into my truck and when I checked out of the facility only one person was there and had to wait on him to come back into the office. I was never given a key card the whole time I rented and every time I would come in town to use the storage unit getting access was difficult and a manger had to be called. Otherwise my stuff was secure and that is all that matters.

Nabeel LUpon walking in I was greeted then I asked about the storage units that were displayed in the store. I asked if I could take a look inside and in a snarky tone he replied, 'that's what there for'. A simple 'of course' would have worked. Upon renting my truck the owners’ tone was very rude. He seemed unimpressed and irritated by the process. He was manurable as far as saying please and thank you but his tone made me feel stupid for asking questions. As a customer I was made to feel I was bothering him. Throughout the process I was wondering if he maybe had a bad morning or what I could have done to warrant such a unpleasant tone. Then when I came back to rent the storage unit by the woman who was working with the title 'leadership' on her tag- she gave me the unit literally all the way in the back of the storage on the 3rd floor.As we wheeled out things ALL THE way to THE VERY BACK it was made oh so evident that there was other units so I’m wondering why we were shoved to the back of the storage space? Of course I didn’t know this until I entered the premises which was a cumbersome experience as well. When driving back to the storage space and parked we got out to the cement dock to unload we were nervous as there was snow and ice. There was no presence of salt so we felt the dock had been neglected and we were unsafe. I’m sure the cameras will show were my moving mate actually slipped twice- didn't fall though thankfully. Then we weren't able to use the double glass doors. When alerting the store rep through the intercom she said its because we weren’t close enough. It was 25 degree weather outside and we all but tried to slide the door open to get in. I just felt that response lacked consideration. We rang the intercom again and no response. So I text the rep's number and asked 'so we won't haver access to the double doors?'. No response. So we started to use the entry door on the side of the building- again inconvenient and cumbersome as we were moving larger items. Eventually the owner walked around. aid nothing. No apology. Not even acknowledging we were out there. Grabbed a shovel and begin to shovel the snow from in front of the door. Once the snow was removed we had access. Overall- terrible experience. If it wasn't for the urgency and needing to get moved I would have went with a different facility. I didn't feel welcomed, valued, or supported. And the support I did receive - if not in a condescending tone, was made me to feel as if I should have figured it out for myself.

HELEN PI had a good experience with this storage facility Over All. Just had one incident where an employee was misinformed about what the GM said about charging for a key card. This employee could have gave me a code to access my storage unit with no charge and could have called the GM to confirm. I even let the employee know I had already spoke with the GM Desiree days before and she told me that it would be a first time free replacement and the second and any other time I would lose the card it would be a $5 charge. That day I really needed to get into my storage unit and had no access and the employee didn't understand I'm the customer he supposed to help me the best of his ability. However this employee basically just wanted to stand around because there was nothing else going on. Then I asked the employee to call the GM and he stated he was not about to call the GM on a Sunday. I felt this incident was terrible customer service on behalf of this employee. To rectify this problem there should be something in writing that states if you lose your key card to your storage there will be a charge or no charge that way it's clear across the board for the employee and the customers please address this immediately.

SHEREE MI am pretty short. I could not get into the tailgate of the truck nor actual cab! The employees were very helpful for shutting the back door and then providing me with a stepladder to actually get in the truck so I could drive it. But that didn’t help when I got to my destination. Getting out was a long drop down for me. My husband had to come home from work to drive the truck to our new house and wait while the moving men finished unloading it for me and drive it back to the dealership. I know I can’t be the only height challenged person to have this issue. Please consider either running boards or a low cost rental of step stools(with a tall handle on back) to assist us.

Marty SI only used the truck for two hours, so it'd be cool if there was some sort of discount for using things for less than like 12, 6, 4, 3 hours or something. But otherwise a pretty seamless experience. Appreciated the employee who helped me. Don't know his name, but he worked 5:30pm to 8pm, when I picked up and dropped off the truck on Friday November 1, 2024. I give the employee 5 stars.

Laval K | Overall ExperienceAll employees that were encountered were awesome and extremely helpful. The loading dock for the 20/26’ trucks was extremely convenient as well as the courtesy carts. The freight elevator was large enough for multiple carts at a time which made things extremely convenient and efficient. The only concern I had about the building is the alarm going off the entire time we were unloading the truck into the storage units.

LAURA GYou all had a woman manager there named Ciera. She kept that place CLEAN, MOPPED, SMELLING GOOD & MOST IMPORTANT! NO HOMELESS PEOPLE! The elevator needs a good mopping. The bathroom from the homeless people are deplorable. They are renting the smallest unit to some of them!!! This place no longer feels safe.

Money was NOT put back into my roommate account! In order for me to move out i had to pay all these late charges and fees! I had until the 26th or 27th (this was told to us by corporate!)to get my belongings out of storage. I was unable to because a lock was put on the door! This location on Council in TOLEDO OHIO stole money from me and my roommate! This is unacceptable! The GM Desiree JOHNSON stated on the phone that she was corporate when asked for corporate's number and then She hung up the phone. She was Very rude and nasty! If the money isn't in the account where did that money go?! Thieves!! I moved out on the September 25, 2024 not the 26th!

You all needs to pre-check the individual by doing this before you arrive.. when you arrive, you should already have your code and not have to do anything at the location. This is terrible in case your Wi-Fi has problems. It becomes an unnecessary delay to go through the process when you get there of the license pictures. This is a terrible process that you all needs to modify. Pre-registration before you get the location and the code should be sent to you before you get the location to open a lock.

RANDI WThe only issue I had was when we picked up the truck and did all the online stuff. The photos were not the correct truck. I did call the guy. He came out quickly and took the photos. Also the inside of the truck whoever used it previous all their garbage was underneath the seats and inside the glove box so I had to do cleaning of that so you guys didn’t think it was, our mess. Other than that, everything went smoothly and we will definitely be back to this location only.

kimbreia M | Overall ExperienceI ordered 8x10 storage unit at Council Street in Toledo, Ohio. Two employees sent me to seven storage units that measured 6x10 instead of 8x10. Desiree, who cleans units, measured two of the seven units and those two storage units measured 6x10. I told general manager and asked for compensation for my time going to seven mid-sized units by giving me 10x10 for $84.95 and encouraged her to measure storage units herself that I got sent to; she insists no 6x10 storage exists at U-Haul location. I will have people stay awake from this U-Haul location.

We had to inhale second hand smoke for 2-3 hours going up and down. Smoking is prohibited and there is a camera to see. He should be fined. I was so upset I just prayed on it. Overall the actual location is nice.
