Went to pick up my trailer and the guy at the counter didn't acknowledge me. I was about 4-6 feet from him and he was in his cell phone. He wasn't wearing a mask. I was the only one in the store and you can clearly hear when someone enters the store. He eventually said can I help you. Then proceeded to call a lady on his phone about a problem with him and his lady from the night before. He said she was probably going to burn his clothes. In between the call he asked me for my information. Proceeded with his call. Eventually hung up the call. Then played music over his phone loudly. Then told me a price which was twice the rate over the online reservation. I said this is twice the amount and he said well it charges you $.99 per mile and it's an estimate. I said do you log the miles on a trailer?!? That's odd because it's exactly twice the rental rate... I said did you charge me for two days? I checked it out at about 4:47pm and I noticed the return time was the next day at 5pm. We went back and fourth about it until I realized he doesn't really care and assumed it would be fixed when I returned it. At that point I realized I would sort it out later with someone else. Once the trailer was connected he asked how my day was... the guy who took the trailer back in the next day fantastic and super nice. Although I live near this store and work in downtown Toledo, I wouldn't recommend renting from this store.

Truck wouldn't go over 40 on the freeway I had to get a hotel room and miss a day's work because it took so long to travel.abs light kept coming on.The clerk Greg called reservation and spoke to April to make sure the truck was ok to go out of state and after she said yes he asked if she's sureand she reassured him it was ok to drive out of state.I wouldn't recommend the truck go out of the city nevermind the state.I contacted cooperate office they were suppose to email me but I haven't heard from them.its been well over 36 hrs.SMH

Have me a trucks that run properly!!!! The truck I had I had to jump it 4 damn times!!!! Highly pissed and to top it off I was charged even MORE DAMN MONEY!!!!! Rude worker called me trying to talk to me like I was delayed fire him!!!!

After we spent a half hour hooking our car up onto the dolly, the woman in the store told us we needed to buy a pigtail for $13. Then we checked the lights and the right side had a crack in the fender and the lights did not work. We had to drive it almost 1300 miles without lights.

I have used a moving truck and a moving van twice in the last 6 months. I have always been treated fairly, the staff gave been knowledgeable and friendly, and the vehicles have always been clean and well maintained.

I loved that it was repurposing an old building and maintained some of the history of the prior factory, but WOW what a mess this whole process was. I specifically reserved at this location, which was out of my way, to acquire a specific vehicle. I was emailed (not called) the next morning, the day of my rental, being told I was given alternate equipment that was much more unwieldy to operate - but at the same rate, at least. Fortunately, the vehicle I needed became available by the time of my rental. And then came the checkout. It took at least 45+ minutes for me to even rent the stupid thing, because the employee at the counter was absolutely baffled by the renting process, as if they had never been trained before. Someone who was ready to clock out assisted, and then when their shift ended, someone ELSE had to take over. The person who took over was actively seeking a bandage for some form of wound she'd sustained, as she was holding her hand tight and lamenting that they only had 'burn relief cream' in the medical supplies and nothing to help her injury. So as she was actively injured, she was also trying to teach the person checking me out how to check me out.... at every step. Online registration, taking a photo of my license, even explaining the contract and details. It took three people to rent me a vehicle and the woman who initially was 'assigned' to help me was lost the entire way. I was pretty much just absolutely amazed at the gargantuan effort it took to do an absolute standard rental. She had put the key on the wrong hook and there was a struggle there as well as the employees tried to figure out where the key had gone for the vehicle I was renting. It was like a circus. I'm thankful that I wasn't on a time crunch, but it was still an absolute headache and major inconvenience standing around wasting time watching the sitcom of errors as she tried to figure out my rental. She even had to be told how and where to highlight things on my contract. I don't know if actively injured girl was told to go deal with her injury and the woman handling my paperwork was just a fill-in unfamiliar with the process, but it was amazing. For COVID-19, I give this place a very low score as well. There's plexiglass, which is great, but everyone behind the counter had masks up when I approached then pulled them down around their chins. The service workers who clean vehicles/air tires/do lifting, etc. had masks as well but were walking around with them down or off within the building itself. I had to use the restroom as well before I left, and an employee was occupying it for twenty minutes (and emerged without a mask). I don't know WHAT took him twenty minutes (and I knocked politely, as one does) but I heard... interesting chopping noises that didn't sound like Normal Bathroom Noises and saw white powdered residue in the bathroom once he left. So maybe refresh staff on COVID-19 protocol and also on not (possibly) doing drugs in your public restroom. Just my suggestion. Would I rent there again? Not unless I absolutely had to. The staff I dealt with during check-in and the man who checked me out were friendly, at least, and there were no surprise charges or anything of that sort (just yet), but like I said, absolute circus. Get there 45 minutes before you need to pick up your vehicle, even if you have a reservation, otherwise you'll be waiting while they sort out their everything. Oh - and - stock your med kit!! SERIOUSLY. HOW can you operate as a place that deals in a lot of physical, hands on labor and not have a stocked med kit? Like, good thing you've got burn cream, but when you've got an employee walking around holding some kind of injury that burn cream won't help.... that is NOT COOL.

I was not going to write a review but the lady who checked me in when I returned my truck was just so rude and argumentive, I had too. She was on her phone had to bring keys to the lady. She tried to tell me I was wrong about my miles and that she knows her job or she wouldn't be here. I had already had a long day I re-explained myself multiple times until she finally understood what I was saying to her. Then it was almost like she wanted to keep it going. After the 10,15 min of disagreeing I was right. I left so furiously I wanted to just call corporate, write the owner, I don't know what her problem was but it was very unacceptable I will no longer go to this location crazy how one person can change your mind drastically. Good Luck to the rest of the customers and employees!

Make all equipment (trucks and trailers) available at EVERY location so you don't make a reservation at the location closest to your house but end up having to drive to another store clear across town to pick up your rental.

I ordered a van and when I got there to do my mobile pickup, that scheduled one in a display that was blocked by 2 other trucks. I had to sit on the phone for 40 minutes with support to get it fixed. The lady was very helpful and tried to call 4 people at location all who didn't answer. I disputed the costs due to this and they went through and charged anyway without calling me.

Time and location were both changed after reservation(day of pickup), and overcharged me. They shortened my reserved 6 hour time, and changed location to acrossed town in the middle of the ghetto. Took forever to get truck, keys were lost, employees were lost. I brought the truck back, on time. Waited forever at the location is says to wait. Nobody came out, so I assumed they were closed. I park the truck in the spot that i got it from. While looking for the night slot the door opened. I go inside and an employee walks right by me goes outside, sees that I parked the truck and chuckles. Never said a word to me. I see another customer looking pissed waiting at an empty counter. Apperantly only 1 employee working on a friday afternoon. I had to get to work. So I dropped the key in the night slot and left. Well they charged me an overnight dropoff charge. Talk about a bait and switch in every way. Will never do buisness with again.
