JOSE IThe people here are rude, add extra charges like extra days saying they are included and then it adds extra charges to the bill. They say you have to pay extra for them to help attach the truck to the trailer, and expect tips for even showing you which trailer to attach. They also do not know how to work the equipment telling you that you have to “race car driver to get out the window of the car on the car trailer” even though there is a way to lower the sides of the trailer. They also did not show me how to attach the car they just did it themselves, and the ropes came unattached a few miles down the highway. Complete joke of a location!

SHERVIN S | First ImpressionsI used the UHaul UBoxes because my brother died and I had to move some of his things from Lebanon Ohio to Houston Texas. The set up with the boxes and fees was a little confusing, but they were delivered to his house in Lebanon on time and just fine... but then there was a delay in the pick up of One of the boxes... and then the boxes were supposed to move to Texas together, but only one box actually made it. It took half a week to figure out the second box never left Ohio... then it took over another week for it to actually get here and I UHaul kept trying to charge me the FULL shipping price for it, when it was UHaul's fault they didn't make it onto the same truck. Then the boxes were supposed to be delivered to my house on April 4th or 5th... but because they didn't know where a box was they didn't show up until April 13. Then that's where the extra fees start coming in... you think everything is paid for but no there's a fee to drop them off... and because they accidentally sent the lost box to a separate local location, there was a fee for each box to be delivered to me... and you can't pick a delivery time that makes since for you... even though you are paying for it, you just get what day and 5 hour window they give you.. but then they even missed the window and were over 30 minutes late for that. They took a situation that was very difficult and painful for me and made it even more difficult.. and I spent a lot more money then I had anticipated. I hope I never have to work with UHaul again.

MICHELLE BYou need to make sure that these trucks are more well maintained. I had some weird noises. Each time I stopped from the transmission, I had all kind of warning lights kept popping on, but they're in Spanish. So who knows what the hell they said? I didn't. Some kind of traction control and several others Kept popping up the engine shakes when it's idling, and it has a noisy rear end in it. This was a very sad truck for 79000 miles. At least it was clean and had nice tires.

Very friendly and definitely fast and good at getting you in and out. Do wish he had more people in the early morning to help him out but they did manage exceptionally well.

SHERRIE JHonestly I never ever write reviews but I genuinely had a great experience!! Jenna was very knowledgeable and friendly and patient with all my questions! Llitch also helped me and was very kind! I have moved a million times on a budget and have used a ton of different storage facilities but by far this was the least stressful experience! Especially with their deal they have going on right now. I am also pleased to know they have security alarms on the units! I have never used a unit with alarms on outside storage units. They also have very reasonably priced moving equipment and boxes for sale. I don't understand why the reviews are so low. I didn't read them but I know I had great service

So during move in and move out, I had multiple bees swarming! In the future, I would get an inside unit only! Maybe that would be better…

Stella L | First ImpressionsTry to hire and hold onto the type of friendly, courteous, and helpful employees I dealt with throughout this transaction, beginning with my first phone conversation through the pickup of the rented truck. Everyone was pleasant, patient, and informative.
PHILLIP NI picked up the unit with a 1st month free promo because I rented a truck. Great start, so far so good. On arrival at the storage facility, Jenna recommended moving labor to me and the contact pulled through after normal business hours with zero forewarning (my bad) and I was impressed with the customer service. But the unit was supposed to come with a complimentary padlock waiting for me when I opened the door and it wasn't there; forgiveable, but it was the start of the downward spiral. I placed a combination lock on the unit and proceeded with my day; the following morning, I received a call from the facility letting me know they had found my unit was not locked "properly" as per the facility policy, and I had to remind them my complimentary lock was not provided, and as I was heading out of state on a plane in a couple hours, to please hold the key for it in the office until I could return - and I told them this - in exactly 2 months' time. Instead, after a minor billing issue arose that caught my eye (this facility charges for the month to come, not the month that has passed, so it looked to me like I did not get the free first month and it made me give them a call) I found out that the office disregarded my instructions and put the keys into the mail, posted to my old rental address in Washington state. This is where I was moving away from, and would not be able to collect mail at that location which was why I asked them (and was told yes at the time) to hold the key in the office. I had recieved zero forewarning this action was going to take place and could not stop them, and I also received zero notice it had taken place, either. I had to call and inquire about a wholly separate issue entirely on my own initiative in order to find out about it! I informed the office that this was unacceptable for the above reasons, as the end result was that I would not be able to recieve the key no matter what. Additionally, I was informed at the time of my call that the keys were mailed a full two weeks before my call was placed, at which time I did technically still have posession of the rental address... so the keys actually got lost in transit and didn't arrive anyway! So now not even God has access to my unit; not me, not the facility, nobody. They told me they would cut the lock and put on a new one, and this time actually keep the keys. I did not have any reason to believe them, but also no way to do anything about it, so I told them to go ahead. As soon as I learned that a new lock had been placed, I added my sister to the authorized list and sent her to collect the new keys due to my distrust. Today I have emptied the unit and no longer required any offsite storage, so I went into the office to inform the facility that they could have their unit back and to stop charging me the monthly rent. When I asked if there was going to be a prorated refund for the fact that I paid for the month of January and only used the first 9 days of said month, I was told NO, that they do not prorate rent and they certainly do not provide refunds! So not only did I have to pay in advance for a monthly allotment, I was penalized for not moving out exactly on the dot at the end of the allotment! I have roaches in my stored things, too, which was extremely distressing to discover. I will not be returning my business to this facility and I will go out of my way to warn away anyone who mentions needing offsite storage, too. I have had a horrible experience, and I am extremely dismayed.

ALLESHA A | First ImpressionsYour overall experience regarding communication was awful. I would get texts from you telling me you were about to call, and they never called; I had to call you. When I brought this up with your employees, I was often told it must be a technical error, which I believed the first time until it kept happening over and over and over again. I also got sent to different people who were on hold for about twenty minutes at a time. When I came to the location to look at the box a gentleman opened it up and showed us all the space and the positives about it which sold us on the unit. When going inside I felt more like a burden than a customer as I was told how the process works, and why I was thinking wrong. It was not until later ANOTHER person fixed the issue. The woman who dropped off our U-Boxes was great she was efficient friendly and just great to work with I constantly felt by your employees over the phone passed around, annoyed I had to be dealt with, and often told them my frustrations to what seemed to be an indifferent group. I spent almost 2,500 dollars with you guys and this was how I was treated? I have to be honest and say if you are reading this if you have no other option that is affordable use these guys but if you can find better options with a place that will treat you like a person or a client they want to deal with. Don't look here

KENTRELL EService was perfect but I do have an issue. I needed to rent a 6x10 ft trailer with a ramp to haul my three wheel motorcycle. The opening is too small. My bike is 5.5ft wide and the opening of the trailer is 4.8. I rented a larger trailer but it has NO RAMP. I love renting from from U-Haul because of the convenience, service and price but please fix those problems. Thank you, Derrick

JOSEPH L | Overall ExperienceUnfortunately, it was terrible. I gambled with my life. The truck I rented was in such bad condition that many truck drivers on the road had to warn me not to use it. While driving at 60-65 mph, the truck shook so violently in the middle of the trailer that it felt like it was going to split in two. I narrowly avoided accidents multiple times. I even thought about taking the truck to a service center to get a report and suing you for directly endangering my life. If I had been in an accident or if something had happened to the truck, you would have blamed me for everything. Even the brakes on your truck don’t work properly. Honestly, I want to sue you. I narrowly avoided several accidents due to the truck’s defects.

He still allow that person to obtain a way in to my storage and take all of my belongings. Then when I came to pay my storage the following month my lock was changed AGAIN without my consent due to the fact he allowed ppl to go in my unit. He then lied when I told him my key didn’t work and he said that he couldn’t do anything until 1pm it was 11:30 then he’s a horrible person and a liar. For him being the GM he is very unprofessional.

My helper was stung in the back of his head. I had to drive to the office. The manager was great, he offered to move me to another unit. But this is was 75% filled with my property. He gave the ability to buy spray. This added miles to my uhaul truck rental. The local store bug spray was not effective. We were still getting stung. I had to make other arrangements and store the rest of my belongings. That also added unnecessary miles to my truck rental. Cut into my truck rental time and time management for my helper. I had to pay him extra for all the inconveniences!

When we were unloading the truck at my new house, there was one in the truck that came out of my things. There was debris on one of my couches where they had been in the couch and shredded some of the stuffing from the couch. I pray that it was the only 1 in my stuff as I moved into a brand new house.

I had a card that said 2306 and on 12/2 put in the door and it said Keysha. When I told hm the 10×7 was my unit, he gave me a smaller unit 2603. I questioned him and he became angry and lied saying he hadn't the larger unit since Oct. I rented mine on 11/17. I returned the smaller unit immediately. Never will I set foot in that facility or recommend it to anyone. I prefer the 2920 UHaul facility.

I told lock with me to show him that it hadn't been cut off. I don't appreciate him saying that an told him that my phone records every conversation that I have because it's my work phone. He defamed my character and I don't appreciate it!

Some had eaten through some of my belongings. Then I moved to a smaller unit 226 because I only had a few things to store and after only being in that unit a month you charge an increase for “pest control” . Thank fully I no longer need your services because you definitely price gauge and don’t deliver. My initial unit 219 was also broken into in 2017 but I was being upcharged for “security” and maintenance of the lighting and pest. What a joke
