It was hard for me to have my things put in storage in the first place. The yet was not well protected from rodents and I had to trash a large amount of things. The hours were rated low and the staff were rated low because I moved to a different time zone. They were not helpful with updating my information and I was some locked or able to do it myself. When calling and asking for assistance, it was a waste of time. And this location just management so much that I’m glad I no longer have to deal with them.

Seems to have bad attitude after I showed him my proof.
MARK EThe trailer that I was to pick up was double booked. It was given to the guy that actually showed up after me. Then the representative couldn't change the contract to reflect the trailer that was rented to me instead. The representative told me that I could go and they would text it to me. I waited instead to make sure it got done. After the manager changed it in the system, the representative still printed the wrong contract. The manager had to come over and do it. Total time was 45 minutes just to pick up a trailer.

PATRICK KZero. You can check your records and see that I have rented a van or a truck multiple times in the past few years. This last rental was a van. Suddenly, there is an automatic minimum charge for 100 miles on a van. The man behind the counter wouldn't even answer my question when this minimum charge started. He was too busy fliting with the girl behind the counter talking about nothing that made sense or of value. Just trying to get laid. There are several other rental options available in Plano. Customer lost.
ROBERT SIf you tell a customer that they will be billed at the end. Please do that. I was told that I would be charged upon bringing back the truck, and I was charged before I even got the keys.

ABEL GTried to reserve using App... could not complete. Had to phone, Rep very helpful, professional and courteous. On return, after hours, it took me 42 minutes to find the dropbox for the keys. It was on the other side of the parking lot and blocked by rental returns. It would be helpful if on the contract, the location of the drop box was made clear. Otherwise, it was a great experience!

PHILLIP PApp is awful. It was not working. Had to check in at the desk. Gas was not full and mileage was incorrect. Took pics. Gas was adjusted when turning it in but they forgot to adjust the mileage. Normally I would’ve edited all of this in the app if it was working. You need a better app.

Gayle JOrdering the truck and completing the reservation was very easy. When we picked up the truck, there was no line, so that was easy as well. What I didn't appreciate and the high pressure selling of the $45 insurance coverage. I have good insurance coverage for all of the vehicles in our family, and am quite sure my coverage would be adequate. The rental associate told me that if something were to happen, I only have 48 hours to pay the damages. She even said one renter recently had to take out a loan inside of the 48 hours to satisfy the requirement. Reading the rental agreement in more detail shows that U-Haul is going to come after my carrier for the damages anyway. So, this left a poor impression on me and I will first attemp to rent from Penske, Ryder or Budget next time. It wasn't necessary to oversell the coverage to me.

REGINALD GThe return app for uhaul, as a whole, is a scam. They want you to get frustrated with it and just drop your keys and leave to claim the $20 convenience fee vs fixing their app to prompt for permissions and be able to attach photos or give access codes immediately, not an hour after you have left the facility. It took me 30-45 minutes just to get a human to assist me with returning the vehicle online. I ended up having to email the chat agent directly because of your application that according to reddit users have been having the same issues for years. This company has too much power over the consumer. It needs to be reported as a monopoly and class action lawsuit filed for schemes against the customer to force additional nonsense fees on a rental that already costs too much. The per mile rate is almost double the irs tax reimbursement rate. Not having vehicles full and leaving them at 1/2 tank but bot giving the customers credits for overfilling tank or early return is just pure greed and skimming. If I had other rental options nearby, I would use them instead. Do not recommend. Will spread the word about how awful this company is. Twice in the last year, this location has screwed me over. Either by not having a vehicle ready for mobile pickup early Sunday morning so I had to return 6 hours later and drive an additional 50 miles round trip to come back and get the van. 2nd was not having a simple return process that doesn't cost additional fees because of the companies inadequacies in programming a functional user friendly app.

However the site clearly states you can use your debit card long as it has a credit card logo on it. Now what if I didn’t own or have a credit card with me! If a major credit card is required at pickup, your website need to be updated with correct information. I’ve picked up from this location before and my debit card was just fine because it has a visa logo on it.

I finally went back to the office an asked what the difference in the two different card swipers were and figured it out. Lastly, one of my units wouldn’t slide to close and lock without 15 minutes of trying different things. Again, nice facility and mostly helpful staff, but there were a few areas that could use attention.

Like REEKED! The odor hits you as soon as the sliding doors open and is so terribly strong that my belongings now reek. I'm now forced to dry clean the majority of my clothing hoping the odor will dissipate.

JOHN M | Overall ExperienceThe African American girl can be more friendly and a little bit more helpful but the other two staff was EXCELLENT KEN I believe was his name he was the general manager and the young girl who helped with our trailer was EXCELLENT but the other girl she need a little more training to go on her attitude and how to properly assist customers, we walked in she was dull and boring with a slight attitude barely helped us, gave us our answer on our RSVP and that was didn’t try to help us find a different location she didn’t do anything she was horrible! People with attitudes like hers will make someone not want to come back but luckily the other two was there and they did a great job at it! I’m (black as well btw) I can’t remember her name so that’s why I said African American girl
