I rented a space for over two years and had zero issues. The facility was always clean and well maintained. The back loading dock made it very convenient. I hope to never have to put my stuff in storage again but if I did, I would certainly use U-Hail.

Outstanding and worked extremely well with the customer. Willing to exchange unit due to leaking in original unit. Upgraded size at no additional cost as they did not have a unit to replace original unit size.

My main issue is that the paperwork said there was 1/4 tank. But we got in the truck and it aid 19 miles to empty. I was told that we would get a credit if we returned the car with more than what we had in the tank when we got it. HOWEVER - when we returned the truck with 70 miles to empty - we were charged $31.50 for it NOT BEING TO A 1/4 tank. I have called for a refund of the charge. And am waiting on the results of their decision for a refund.

I would never recommend soup city auto the furst place i was to pick up my tprebtal, arrived at 11 am for reservation and they are supposed to be ooen 9-5 but they was closed forcing me to find a rental at another location. I hooe Uhaul revokes their ability to operate so other customers dont fal, into the same incident

I feel the allotment of miles was to tight. I picked up the truck drove home loaded the truck and drove to the new house. Stopped to get gas and I was drove 5 miles over the allotment of miles and go charged $10 more. Not a good way to end my very good experience.

The driver's cabin smelled horrible. The cargo bed was clean. I had also reserved an appliance dolly in advance and no one reached out to me to make me aware that there is none available. I made my reservation a week in advance and had to run around at the last minute to find one to purchase at a hardware store. I understand things become unavailable but a simple call, text or email would've sufficed.

After 4 and a half months of storage, all my stuff was clean, dry, bug and rodent free at the location on Glenwood and Mahoning. The staff was friendly and helpful, hours were convenient, I work nights and they stayed open till 10 p.m.. There are heaters placed all around in the facility so none of my electronic devices froze and broke. Fair pricing. I'd recommend!

The first place we had booked had no one there that knew what to do told us he was calling the owner who never showed after 20 minutes. I called U Haul and they sent us to U-Haul on Mahoning in Youngstown that was wonderful

Not sure of the gentleman's name at the counter on Friday. He is also the same gentleman that checked over the u haul when i returned the truck on Saturday.. But this guy is a great employee. He took great care of me from getting the keys very fast and being super friendly while helping me out. I feel like that was the smoothest transaction out of all of the times i rented a u haul and this guy plays a big part in that. Thank you sir, keep being you and Good job!

The location was convenient and the staff were very friendly and nice. However every time I was there the air seemed to be damp and musty and I had issues with allergies when I was there. As of late it appears several people were living or using storage units as places to get ready change or live. I saw several people changing in their unit over the past few months. The reason I no longer use the unit is because of the constant rate increases. I lam renting another unit from a competitor (12 x 25) for $165 a month. Again I really enjoyed the staff but felt I had no option but to leave. Thak you for the past few years and I wish everyone well

the brick floor was a pain to push yhe carts on. i was told the doors were open from 5am till 10pm but when i was there they locked the doors at 5 pm and i asked when the doors would be unlocked i was told 7 am big difference in the times i was told

Overlord Site/General manager Crystal Shehab is the only person for this location with access to security cameras meaning she can erase, lose or destroy footage at whim should she rummage through your unit. She incessantly ranting about "eating it" on a previous unit which was auctioned. She as well, berated me as a customer when renting about my narcissist ex whom she personally felt for, sided with and proceeded to involve herself personally twords although he never showed himself to her in saying her piece of mind where it was not concerned. Horrible place, uneducated staff, dirty with bugs, overpriced and absolutely use useless to use as storage in historical building among the other location across the street they've purchased. Try extraspace in Boardman.. awesome spot

The building looks condemned. It appears to be falling apart. The storage rooms are dark and disgusting. Rat trap boxes are everywhere. It smells like mold. I am still waiting on my refund. The employee got into a heated argument with my wife. Very unprofessional.

Other than the few small chunks of ceiling that fell down onto my things in storage, this place was great. It didn’t cause any damage, but just got black crumbs all over my sofa… The people who work here were very nice, kind, and professional. Pricing for a medium unit was fair and they offered exceptional insurance for my belongings. The truck rental was very cheap for the size I got. It was very quick to get everything I needed and easy to return truck and close storage unit once finished. I really appreciated the professionalism of this place and would absolutely go to them again if I need in the future.

Great place and inexpensive. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because you guys definitely need to replace the walk-up step-ladder. It is wobbly and not sturdy and very unsafe for those who have to use it to carry their belongings up and down from the top storage units. Other than that, the service was good!

Over a year ago, I found that the door to my locker had been breached. I reported it to staff immediately. It was never fixed. Only yesterday, 7/17/2022, when I vacated my locker did I notice missing items. I've visited my locker several times over the passed 2-1/2 years. At no point was the temperature of my locker under 80 degrees in the summer or over 60 degrees in the winter. Just to note, the building is falling apart. The materials are simply eroded. Moving out, I've cleaned pounds of paint, rust and some sort of cork substance. As if I needed more work to do. Tap the wall and more falls to the floor. There is no electric or I would have used a shop vac. I was suppose to be called about a first floor unit since is got on the list 2-1/2 years ago because my reservation unit was suppose to be on the first floor to begin with as I am physically handicaped. Never happened. However, the entry was safe and secured.

Going through several huge losses I was greeted at the store by Crystal Shehab. She was absolutely amazing! While I was a shaking and a bundle of raw emotion and not able to even complete a sentence Crystal helped me finish my sentences and helped me choose the best option in my price range that I can afford. The girl that works in the morning and Leo are so so so sweet. And the building is an old dairy from the art deco era. Itd be nice to see Uhaul fix it up. But it's a great facility and so clean and so full of history. This was by far the highlight of my trip through Younstown

This moving experience into my first storage unit made sure it would be my last. The storage unit has units on top of each other which are dangerous especially with moving bigger furniture like couches and mattresses. I was afraid of falling every time I was moving something into that unit because of the moving stairs. The storage units on the top of other ones are made out of plywood and not concrete which makes them not sturdy at all. I notice that there were multiple units available in the bottom areas. I think the management company should have been upfront and trustworthy on which unit and where the unit was like on top of another unit. There are parts of the facility that is air-conditioned but the part where my unit was not. There was no airflow on the second floor of the facility. It makes it unbearable to move items in and out of the facility. I would say the lady checking me in gave me tips on certain things with the facility but I still think the layout of the until could be better.

When renting storage staff gave me the wrong storage unit...when returning with things I had to pay the difference for the correct one which I didn’t have a problem with. When returning my truck staff told me the furniture pads were not in the truck so they would have to charge me. I did not use any furniture pads and my move was quick and simple. IT WAS THE STAFFS FAULT FOR NOT HAVING THEM EQUIPPED WITH THE TRUCK WHEN GIVING ME THR KEYS. Problem was resolved was not charged for what I did not utilize. Still would not recommend this location for anyone.poor customer service

This Uhaul is a convenient spot to store items if you are located at/around YSU. It’s an repurposed older building with original floors, walls, and ceilings. There is a variety of unit and they are ok

Called on 8/17/2018 at 2:00 pm to cancel my reservation. It took 60 mins for your company to answer and try to figure out how to cancel this order. What a disaster this was. I will never call again
