As a first time user, I think it went pretty well. Since I did the app version of picking I had to prep the proper requirements. It it will be nice if that could be in advance to save on some time. It was a good idea to tell where the vehicles are located since they were so many cars in the lot, that helped a lot. As for the return, a clearer message/experience can be shown in the app that all steps have been completed and the customer can walk way.

I went in to be third in line for about five minutes before any worker came in. Then they were brief, rude, and unhelpful. The parking lot was small and hard to maneuver in. I will not return to this location.

DYLAN KI had not visited this location since in over 2 years. I arrived at 8:45 thinking this would give me time to park. I was surprised to find two rows of trucks/vans blocking access to customer parking. There was a black SUV waiting also. I circled the compound several times looking for a spot. I thought I had found a spot in front of the store, but a female employee told me I could not park in that spot. I asked where am I supposed to park. She said I could park in the Chinese restaurants parking lot. I was surprised because I had never parked in that location and asked, "I won't get towed if I park there. Will I?" She replied, "No." I drove over to the neighboring parking lot and saw no posted sign stating U-Haul customer were welcome to park. I then drove to the entrance of the U-Haul compound and found two parking spots- one was so close to the entrance I was afraid another customer might clip my SUV, and the other spot had no concrete parking block. I circled the parking lot again and managed to squeeze into the third or fourth spot. I then waited by the front entrance waiting for the door to open (around 8:55a). A second gentleman soon joined me at the entrance. Naturally, we discussed the importance of being on time because moving can be a stressful event, etc. The front door opened around 9:04a. (Sometimes a location is understaffed, and I have to admit Partick was courteous, knowledgeable, and was really working the front desk- reassuring customers he would be right with them, etc.). I approached the counter and Patrick began my paperwork. Then he informed me that the female employee had to clean out the van. I stepped to the side and allowed the next customer to be taken care of. Two more females entered the building and stood in line. I waited while Patrick assisted the gentleman with the car transport hitch. Meanwhile customer number five enters the building and sat on a stack of boxes talking on his cell phone. Patrick came back to the counter and finished waiting on me. I walked over to the van and began taking pictures. I began to pull up because another customer, driving a large truck (23 foot?) was trying to exit his location. Then I took more pictures and completed the online portion. As I climbed into the van, I noticed the side door was not closed completely. As I slid open the door, I noticed a large brown circular stain on the floor of the interior along with dog hair (?) scatted throughout the interior of the truck. (So, the interior was not clean). By then it was 9:45a and I was running late and had 20 clear plastic containers to load from my house. So, I drove off... I was really disappointed with the parking situation and with the female employee telling me to park in the restaurant's parking lot. I was also disappointed the van was not clean. I did stop to pick up some wipes and cleaned the interior because I didn't want to be charged.

WILLIAM CI was locked into the parking lot at the end of the day. I was unable to park the truck in the parking log without driving around the curb from the neighboring business and had to leave the same way.

JOSEPH DThere were two employees working when I arrived. I did mobile check in and just needed my key to complete check in. I walked into the store and two other people were inside waiting for assistance. While inside, 3 more people queued up behind me waiting for assistance. I went outside to ask the employee I saw out there if he could help and he said “Well you’re going to have to wait a minute” as the 2nd employee watched. A few minutes later the second employee came into the store and assisted the first person in line. She then attempted to help me, as she knew I just needed my key. She kept going in and out of the store at a snail’s pace to check the trucks and communicate with the other employee. After about 20 minutes of this, she told me the truck I was supposed to have wasn’t ready and she was swapping mine out. It took another 10 minutes of waiting. When she got the key, she held onto it while helping another person leading to an even longer wait when she could have given me the key and I could have been on my way. The same thing happened when returning my truck, and I ended up leaving my key on the counter because I’m not sure how long I would have been waiting otherwise! Overall just a poor experience, and clearly and understaffed location.
Brynn AThe truck I had reserved weeks in advance was not available because you were overbooked. If I had not noticed that there were some trucks that had not yet been checked in, we would not have been able to rent a truck, which would have been a disaster since we had to vacate an apartment that weekend and the truck was needed to move the stuff out. You were also insufficiently staffed to handle the check-in and other customer demand. Other than that, the staff at the facility were nice and when available, worked to resolve problems.
GERALD EThe pick up process would have been a total disaster if it hadn’t been for Tiffany. After a long wait in line, I was initially told a truck wasn’t available despite having a guaranteed reservation text from U-Haul. Thankfully Tiffany went out to locate a truck, clean it, and get it ready for us. Overall the reservation process was terrible with a last minute change in location and equipment type.
GILBERT BMale employee was very rude and kept hanging up in my face. Truck had no wheel alignment and was vefy poor at driving.
TREVOR SI was a little confused about when I had to have the vehicle returned before being charged for a second day. Otherwise, the vehicle was in great shape and really helped us with our move.

ALLISON MI feel that I was over charged, I rented a $29 a day truck and a $7 dolly . I drove 68 miles total, I returned the truck with gas back to where I began. And I reserved the truck for 12 hours 7:00am til 7:00 pm , but returned it by 2:30 pm. So why did I get Charged $149. I understand the $1.00 per mile. But that's only $68, so yes I am furious, I feel that the advertisement is a scam
