The pickup was fine excerpt were locking up and the front door would noy open at 6:45 with a closing time of 7. That door should open until 7. The drop off was not good. The young woman was pleasant and told me to drive around back and a man would unhook the trailer. I pull around and expected the guy to unhook the 5X8 utility trailer and I would be on my way. Nope he was telling me to back the trailer into a spot next to another trailer. I felt like saying "Hey, I don't work here" but I complied with some effort. He should have unhooked me and moved the small trailer to position. He then said I will have to charge me $15 for a small dent in the trailer on the front left corner. I said I did not do that I got a brand new SUV, do you see any dents where the would hit the trailer when the trailer would jack into it. He said was that dent in the trailer there when I picked it up, I said I assume so. He then asked me if I had pictures to prove it, I asked him no, do you have pics showing it was not there. He said next time I will charge you, I said there we be no next time if this is the crappy service you offer. I realize that you want the user to take responsibility for assuring no damage was done but I feel you also have some responsibility for properly tracking the condition of your products and using good judgement if a problem arises. I think you would not identify that dent on this trailer and flag it in the computer so folks down the road pay over and over for that old damage. If the guy was pleasant and we discussed it in a logical way it would have been better. It was obvious the small dent was there for some time and that my vehicle could not have done the damage without having a mark. I felt like this guy just looks to jack folks as your fine print probably lays all responsibility on the customer. He needs to understand how to deal with folks. Just a poor interaction all the way around.

THOMAS FUp until this reservation U-HAUL has been good to me. First off my reservation was made for Monday June 16th. When I got there Ali was told there systems went down and I wasn’t going to be able to get truck today. Cool whatever you didn’t guarantee my rental like your website says nor was I given a $50 credit for not getting my rental. I went the next day Tuesday June 17th to get a truck. The rental was fine until I got my final receipt. On my Receipt it showed I used a dolly. I never used a dolly for the duration on my rental and do not understand how I can get charged for one. I called the office and of course nobody ever picks up in Redlands and I was sent to central team to speak to someone. When they answered I explained the BS situation I was in. They called the manager directly and was told I needed a picture to dispute my charges. That was a bunch of bull and when I asked the representative on the phone that I’m getting screwed not once but twice but U-HAUL she said yes sorry (great customer service). This was by far the worst rental experience from U-HAUL and when I rent in the future it’ll be from a different location and I will asked for them to take out the dolly and blankets so I don’t ever get screwed over again.

SHARVONNE SThe employee who took care of me seemed the most competent and customer friendly employee who has worked at this location in the past two years, the time I have been renting from U-Haul. He should be looked at for a higher position in management. Some people "have it," and others "don't." This young man was so much more mature and customer smart than any employee I've ever encountered at U-haul. I have extensive experience with U-haul having made a major move from the San Francisco Bay Area to Redlands, CA, driving 5 26-foot truck, renting 7 of your storage units, and countless open-air trailers. Having interfaced with no less than 50 different employees, this young guy was THE BEST!

THERESA WOriginally was scheduled to return it at Yucaipa Trailer. They weren’t there during their business hours and would not answer the phone or return messages. They should not be a UHaul representative
John KMiguel at your facility is absolutely incredible. He’s been there many times when I go he is so friendly, helpful and just one of the best customer service people I have ever been around.
PATRICK FHonestly, get rid of Miguel. He has NO customer service manners. He was the worst person to deal with. Tearing up my personal truck, later I said, the utility cable was split. But he said to me ,I run this shop. I said no you don't. I'm a professional truck driver, driving fo over 30 years. It was a split cable so I had NO signal on rear left. He said NO you're truck has issue. He was also removing fuses when it wasn't the problem. That person WILL make you guys LOOSE. Customers.

Angel AI always appreciate how easy it is to pickup the equipment i need and that they have hitches and accessories in stock (which has saved me a time or two haha) and very reasonably priced. The wait can be a bit much sometimes so it definitely helps to check in prior to arriving to save yourself some time.
