Online pre- check-in for truck rental eliminates a lot of wasted time at the counter giving info, and living breathing employees are very accommodating for the necessities. THE APP, on the other hand, is still worth its weight in wet cigarette butts when it can’t load any inspection photos or complete an after hours return. Optional insurance and a walk around video makes do. Newer trucks rotating in are nice. Older ones sorta scary. I like dealing with this hub store for ready availability,.

Robert CFirst of all, yesterday wasn't the first time I used that location. The last time I used that location, they over charged me and continued to charge my card. The rental i had was an after hour drop. They never utilized the actual time of the drop when they calculated my bill. So in order to rent the van yesterday, I had to pay an old bill of $52.00. Yesterday's rental, I reserved the cargo van and got a regular van instead. I declined the safe move coverage and asked for a hand truck. They didn't have a hand truck inside the van and my bill had a safe move charge on it. That location seems to employ incompetent people who have no patience, no trained right and unprofessional. I was told after I called the 800 number that some one will call regarding the extra charge on my card. Haven't heard from anyone as of yet. I WON'T be using this location or any other location again. I know of two other people who used this location at 7345 NE Sandy Boulevard and they had the same issues. It's very close to home for me and convenient, but the experience/service sucks. Andrea E

JESSICA CI was unable to pickup the vehicle at the location with my reservation. Had to travel to a far less convenient location and was overcharged and lost valuable time. I drove the vehicle a total of 25 miles and when I filled the gas tank up at returning it took over 5 gallons at 4.99 per gallon. That’s barely 5 miles to the gallon.

CLAUDE HTraining is the key. Do the employees know which ball fits which hitch? Do they suggest recommended tie-downs, covers, insurances, etc.? This location is cramped. Recommend offsite storage of some equipment to allow for easier pick ups and returns. The phone app is useful for setting up rentals and returning, but it would be helpful to integrate some form of timer for the use of the equipment and return, and perhaps more intuitive search and viewing of contract, pricing, current balance, and maybe a chat feature?

CAROL WWhile renting a truck from your location, I was appalled by the lack of transparency and professionalism exhibited by your staff. Initially, one of your employees provided me with inaccurate information regarding the charges, leading to confusion on my part. Upon returning the truck, your employee insisted on doubling the charges by 4 times, despite my clear understanding of your pricing policies from previous rentals. This attempt to overcharge me was concerning and unacceptable.
DAWIT BStaff was extremely helpful. My initial vehicle had an issue with a door that wouldn’t seal. They had a great attitude and approach to swapping that out.
JAMES OPersonal service was outstanding. Jason Vorhis deserves a big raise. Truck performed very well; no issues. Checking in via the QR code after hours was a major hassle. I didn't see any confirmation of check in. Instead, I was taken to a website that charged me $1.99. I thought that this was a late fee so I paid it. Then it tried to charge me $179.00 for a "subscription." I declined. The site charged me anyway. My bank detected that as FRAUD and my debit card was frozen. It will be 7-10 business days before I receive a replacement. I will pay the remainder of my balance due when I receive and activate that replacement card. Regards, Todd
TODD WThis was overall a very poor experience. I was afraid the truck was going to break down the entire time. I didn’t receive the furniture pads I rented. The truck was almost on empty when I picked it up when they said there should be a quarter tank. And now they’re trying to charge me an extra $160 for damage that I didn’t incur, after filling the gas tank past where it started. If there was a better alternative to U-Haul I would switch in a heartbeat.

Also, when i returned it 6pm after hours, checking out is pain the ass!!! Cellphone signal sucks! And Uhaul self return app is a piece of $hiT!

GUY JWe were all set to detach the auto transport from our truck and thought everything was good. Without our knowledge The uhaul employee unhooked the trailer BEFORE the car was off. The trailer popped up into the air as my dad was driving it off. It was super scary and the uhaul employee was very nonchalant about his mistake, basically laughed it off. Definitely not okay, and unsure this employee knows the ins and outs of his job. Would avoid this location for safety reasons!!

Robert B | Overall ExperienceThe best thing about this location is its manager, David. He is available at nearly all hours of the day which made my experience much better, and I thank him for that. However, everything else (mostly related to U-Haul at the corporate level) was unprofessional and disorganized. I was told (by a very kind and helpful customer service rep) that I could move into this location after-hours. I spent hours trying to get in, and ultimately ended up having to wait until morning to move in, which caused me to miss a flight and take on the expense. I learned later that move in after 10pm is not possible, which I was assured would not be an issue over the phone previously. Upon move-out, I had scheduled a truck at this location for 8/1, but when I could not find the reservation in my app I called the location. The clerk told me that the reservation was for 7/31 for a "Frank" (my name is Jack) and therefore was cancelled for no-show. I was looking at the confirmation message for 8/1 at noon, which I told the clerk, who responded, "the reservation was for 7/31 and it is cancelled. I don't know what you want me to do about this". Instead of fixing the problem he suggested I figure it out on my own. I ended up getting lucky and finding equipment at another location. I have very little trust with U-Haul now. I know that my money is not safe with U-Haul and I anticipate losing money and time when working with this company. The employees are not equipped to properly solve customer issues. I will not be a returning customer because I think it's bad business to make multiple errors (similar problems have occured the last two times I have used U-Haul in Seattle and Chicago) and tell the customer to figure out what the company did wrong and to fix it themselves on their own hour and dime.

Whenever I had to talk to staff, which was only during move in and move out, they were kind and helpful. Only complaint I had is one of my boxes had mouse poop on it when I moved out. I know it isn't easy to control, but that was kinda gross. At least none of them died in there.
