I explicitly asked several times that the driver contact me before dropping off my uboxes because I wanted to be there for the drop off. I never received a call, but they were dropped off in the location I requested. There were several miscommunications about when my uboxes would be picked back up. They were picked up 5 days after the original scheduled date. Overall, the uboxes made my move very easy and would recommend this service to other people.
Casey HThe facility itself was fine. However they put one of the Uboxes on the flat bed with the door facing the other Ubox so we couldn’t open it. We were 30 minutes away so we had to drive an hour round trip just so they could flip the u box around so it’s facing the proper direction. And why were we needing to go 30 minutes away? We ordered our Uboxes in March for a June move… uhaul corporate never assigned it to a location for pickup, so the entire ubox experience for loading was crappy beginning with trying to even access the ubox until they finally were loaded up and returned for taking to our destination. Asked for a partial refund for the incredible inconvenience and poor planning on the part of Uhaul but of course nobody ever got back to us.

BLAS G | Overall ExperienceIt would be nice to have the option to select the metal/fiberglass Uboxes, even if it came as an added cost. The wooden ones were super annoying to use, I got a few splinters while using them. I did request the metal/fiberglass ones but the person I talked to said they can’t guarantee them and won’t know which ones they are until the day they get loaded on the truck for delivery.
Josiah PTiffany and Cee were both very rude and unhelpful, judgemental and cruel. I was threatened multiple times as well as police called because someone was on a high horse and assumed the worst of someone else who was struggling in life after leaving a domestic violence relationship and needed a calm place to sort through my belongings.

Jessica PI am beyond disappointed with this whole experience. I won't be using u-haul u-boxes again. I had more than one item damaged. I had to change movers through moving help more than once because varies moving companies changed last minute, one company actually said u-haul doesn't pay them enough and they dropped the job (I understand they set their rates and that isn't true but still). The moving company that was supposed to drop off my stuff cancelled at 3p the day before drop off. I had to change companies last minute and pay an additional $190. In the future it makes since just to use a moving company.

HENRY LI really liked this facility and would consider staying if not for the price. After moving out all of our items and taking the lock off, I selected the move out option on my account to see what I needed to do. I did not continue the process since I wasn't able to take pictures, but the cancellation happened anyway and when I went to go check that everything was clean a few days later, the unit was already setup for the next customer. I wish I could have checked it to make sure we didn't get a service fee or something. It was also concerning that the access gate has stayed open for a very long time and I didn't need to use my code.
Abigail J | Overall ExperienceI think you shouldnt say that something is "GARUNTEED" to arrive at a certain time if it isn't. If you are going to claim this then give a full refun when it doesn't. If you can't garuntee that something is going to arrive on time then dont say that

Jana WMy access code didn’t work, and then when I was able to get in the gate closed while I was unloading stuff and wouldn’t let me back out at first. Basically the first night getting in and out was super stressful. The second day when I was unloading things went a lot smoother.

Elizabeth VAll the folks at the Utah location were very helpful and did all they said they would, on time. The folks at the Maryland location were exactly the same as the Utah people. The Ubox was a great solution to our moving issues. I highly recommend the folks at U-Haul, especially the Ubox. It was exactly what we needed.
Stephen KI rented 1 UBox to ship my stuff from UT to TN. The delivery truck operators in both UT and TN were great, professional and on time. (except on dropoff in TN they had truck break down, which they reached out and informed me about). However the centralized help line SUCKS. The person on centralized customer support line told me I could schedule Ubox delivery same day, which turned out to be a baseless lie, the local transit team told me "there was no way to do that, she just bullshitted you". (I paraphrase, they were all professional in their speech.) I was also NEVER NOTIFIED that my box arrived to TN, which is nuts, I had to reach out to them after the deadline and the La Verne location was just like "oh yeah it's here". TLDR: delivery teams great, main system sucks

Sidney KThe container was first delivered early and I was not yet at the location. Fortunately it was placed in the proper spot but it felt uncomfortable to me to arrive at my condo to see it was already there and the driver hone all before the agreed upon drop off time slot. I did see text messages but normally there is a conversation by phone call if any changes to the time plan happens. I did not like the short notice text with no phone call regarding the time change.

Andrea YMy U-boxes arrived to town on Saturday mid-day, but they weren’t delivered until Tuesday afternoon. The clerks kept saying that they “weren’t processed in the system” so they couldn’t schedule a drop off. And then once they were processed, they said their driver didn’t show up, so everything was pushed forward a day. While I expected it could take a maximum of 10 days to receive my stuff, it was frustrating to have to wait knowing my stuff was close by but I couldn’t access it or have it delivered for 3 more days. Compared to my experience at the origin U-haul facility in Dallas, this wasn’t a great interaction overall
