Virginia FFirst, I love U-Haul. Have used in most my moves. Both locations were great. A problem did arise though. I was contact by U-Haul that the location nearest to me for drop off was full, so was asked to drop off at a much further location near Tucson mall. They said I could have an extra day, and they would add the extra mileage needed, so I agreed to do it. I didn’t really need the extra day, but made use of it. On return day I headed to the Tucson mall return site. When close, my son pointed out that I had messages and a voicemail from U-Haul that the drop off had changed. In the voicemail, there was even a threat that I’d be charged a fee if I did not take the U-Haul to the new location (I have the voicemail transcript) so we, not wanting to incur fees, ate lunch, then headed to the new location. When I get to the new location, the guy (very nice) checking the truck in lets me know that no one added miles to my contract. He let me know there was nothing he could do. So I paid the fees on top of the extra gas it took to get the truck back, and extra gas for the vehicle used to follow me for pick up. These fees, though not huge were a bit of a strain on top of everything else incurred on top of the move. My experience at both locations was great, but if told that you would not incur fees for helping U-Haul out, that should be kept. Thank you

SHANNON CI think a very much improvement. It would be to have more than one employee on a Sunday. She was backed up, and it was very busy. But still providing great customer service And maintain the level of professionalism, even though her system was not working. And you could tell she was visibly overwhelmed. I actually felt sorry for the employee and thanked her for.the great customer service .i feel uhual let.this an employee down and failed her. So the only reason I am giving an excellent on my review. It's because of this employee

YUNIESKY JI had a reservation for a Uhaul at Ace Hardware on 83rd Ave & Camelback in Glendale, AZ & when I went to pick it up they said NONE of the Uhaul reps showed up today & just sent me on my way. Went to 67th Ave & Bethany and told them what happened d and the girl, Alex accommodated me immediately! Won’t EVER reserve one from the other location ever again because this could’ve done way wrong if tons of people rented theirs out! Thank you, Alex for helping me out!

ANDREUS WStandard rental ko n issues just used the truck to move 12 ft roll of carpet a few hours and spent 50 bucks with everything nothing crazy average cost, per mile is a bit high hut then ahain sonis gas nowadays.

RICHARD IYour mechanics could actually replace the brake shoes on the auto transport trailer instead of just adjusting it out until the brake shoes are worn away. The lack of maintenance on the equipment pushed my truck about 9 miles down a 6% grade causing my truck brakes to fade. I held a CDL for 20+ years so I know what I am doing or it would have been a not so great ending. The trailer drums were cool to the touch so that is a very clear indicator of no trailer brakes as well. I will most likely not ever use uhaul again. A refund would be great since I have to replace the smoked brakes on my truck.
