Check in process was very confusing. Might have been due to them being busy. Returning a trailer is a tougher process as the return set up looks like it's more for the moving vans, not pulling up with a trailer. I would use location again if needed.

Waited over an hour in line when you set a reservation time. This seems to be a very busy location, but there is not enough staff to handle the volume of rentals this place does. Would recommend someone go to a different location so they didnt waste their time there.
Anthony GThis was the single worst customer experience I’ve ever had. Showed up at 10am at my pick time and didn’t pull off the lot until 11:45. Spent 90 minutes waiting in line just to get to the counter. The facility was under staffed at many times only one person working the counter. The owner/general manager was unprofessional cracking jokes with her self and employees, not taking herself seriously. She did not apologize or even acknowledge the wait times. To top her lack of professionalism she was wearing ear rings in the shape of a movie ticket that said Sh** Show on them. I’ve never seen something so unprofessional from someone supposed to be running things. This location and manager are damaging your brand.
Christopher PI will never use U-Haul again or recommend them to anyone. I returned the truck and a guy came and took the key and walked away without saying a word or looking at the truck. Three days later they charged my credit card without my knowledge for $46.20 saying I brought the truck back with less fuel then when I got it which was not true and I had photos to prove it. When I called them about this first I was told it was 1 1/4 gal short then 3 1/2 gal then 1 1/2 gal then it went to 4 gallons this also proves they did not know exactly how much fuel was in it when I returned it but decided to charge me for it anyway what a poor dishonest way to do business. They lost allot of future business for $46.20
DOUGLAS KWhen I arrived before my 9 a.m. reservation, I was fourth in line. There appeared to be only one employee, so she had to complete paperwork and go get the vehicles. It was about 30 minutes before I made it to the front of the line. She was friendly and efficient with me. When I left, there were six people in line. Drop-off was excellent: I didn't have to wait at all or even go inside.

Sheri GThe Uhaul local was fine have been using it for years ... BUT THE UHAUL RESERVATION SYSTEM IS POOR. To the next customer. BEWARE THAT YOUR RESERVATION IS NOT NECESSARILY YOUR RESERVATION. Corporate Uhaul logistics does not communicate with dealers apparently. I rented a one way 4x8 trailer one way to a town and gave me the price for it and confirmed the reservation. Then Uhaul changed my reservation to a 5x8. I did want a larger trailer. Uhaul called to confirm the reservation the day before pickup and said I was getting a 5x8. I told them I wanted the original 4x8 I reserved and were they not available. He said they were but said nothing about a potential additional charge. So when I arrived to pick it up the contract fee was about $125 more than my reservation showed. When I asked why ... the attendant who was very sympathetic ... said there was an equipment glut where I was going and they did not need more smaller trailers so it was more expensive because they would have to move it. And to top it off after I arrived, someone from Uhaul called and asked if I would drop it off in a town 50 miles away rather than the one I had on my reservation because the one I chose had too much equipment. They did offer $50 reimbursement but I had already paid $125 more for the equipment I wanted so it was NOT enough to drive 100 miles the day after an 11 hour drive. NOTE TO UHAUL ... WHEN YOU MAKE AND CONFIRM THE RESERVATION IT MEANS YOU CAN PROVIDE WHAT WAS ASKED FOR, FOR THE PRICE GIVEN. Get your logistics systems in order please and stop the bait and switch.

STAN TMy reservation was changed by U-haul from 5 minutes away to a location nearly 30 minutes away. There was only 1 person working the counter with several people waiting in line. Which took nearly 45 mninutes of standing in line to secure the rental. There seemed to be no sense of urgency by any of the people working at this location.

MARK RI waited in line for 30 minutes to return a trailer. With one couple still in front of me wanting a rental, I interrupted the check-in person to see if someone else was available to process my return. She yes, go find the lady outside she will help you. And she did. Signage or a more attentive customer service person could have been proactive and asked if I was returning and the problem could have been avoided. TT

KEITH P1. I went on line and reserved the trailer I wanted at the location I wanted and then received a call sometime later saying that location didn't have one. Why show availability for the dates I wanted when it wasn't available? The trailer I rented at the Metcalf location had to be swept out before I loaded it. Good thing I showed up 30 minutes before I had the reservation for since the line was that long. No parking for me, so lost my place in line while I had to move my vehicle. When I checked back in, the attendant said he would check my trailer back in right then but I never got notified that I had successfully returned the trailer, dolly, and moving pads. All in all, not a smooth transaction. All the digital stuff is great if it works well and speeds up the process. It did not!
ROLAND MAs usual, understaffed for a Saturday. It is as if you dont expect an abundance of people to be doing things on this day. There is zero reason to wait 45 minutes in line to pick up a trailer for 4 hours.
MARK AI needed to change my reservation date ..in all my tranactions with U-haul the customer service was some of the best I've received. Everyone just wonderful and so helpful....

Jonathan ECan’t really imagine a better experience. The “front counter” woman who transacted both the rental and the return was super efficient and pleasant. As I arrived to ret the trailer, she was getting off the phone with an upset person about the rental equipment. She excused herself for a minute to let the manager know about the call complaint as the customer was returning to your store. Your employee kept calm and efficiently waited on me without any hesitation. Based on my interactions, you are fortunate to have her as an employee.

Kendyll CThe service with people was great but the truck had serious issues. The reverse handle didn’t work and it only started to show problems once we were on route. The truck it self leaked and soaked a bunch of my cardboard boxes.

Nicholas KI've rented trucks from this location in the past and had no problems. This time, though, for my one-way move to FL, I was given a crappy truck. While the truck was clean, the a/c stopped working part-way through my second day of driving. And, because I had a schedule to keep, I didn't have time to stop and wait for Roadside Assistance to come try to repair it. It was excessively hot for the last ten hours of my drive to FL. If I'm taking a truck to a warmer climate, please ensure the a/c is properly serviced, not leaking gas, and will be good for the entire drive. My truck's a/c had a leak. I split my time between Kansas City and FL, and have a need to use a U-Haul truck every now and then, but I won't rent from this location again.

ANNIE MThe staff on hand provided a below-average experience. We had to wait 10 minutes to be helped as the gentleman at the front desk was not trained to do any work. He walkie'd someone to assist and the manager on staff, Armirita or something like that, finally came to assist, but brought a bowl of microwaved tuna. I'm not sure where she learned her etiquette, but HOT TUNA is never ok, especially so in front of customers. The gentleman who was not trained to assist sat nearby and slurped his empty slurpee for the entire time we were being "helped". Armirita took forever to assist and repeated the same question multiple times after we had already given her an answer. If I can help it, I will never visit this location again.

RUFUS MThe reservation was for a van due to a spacing issue for where we would be parking and working for the weekend. Upon arrival we were denied the van and instead given a box truck which complicated our work weekend greatly. The box truck also was in poor condition and did not steer for break correctly . Parts were falling off as we drove but we were stuck with it as we had no other options . This was the worst experience we as a company have ever come across and will never rent from this location again.

Joseph HIt is too bad that there isn't a smaller charge if I had really only driven it off the lot to find out that I didn't need it anymore. I had rented it with the idea that I was going to make a big purchase at IKEA and they didn't have anything in stock that I needed. We called UHaul within an hour of having it and telling them that was the case. I was told a $15 day charge, but I didn't know about an additional $8 fee. The actual customer service was great and everyone was helpful. But, I really did only drive it a half mile from the U-Haul store to IKEA and back. I wish it was a complete refund because it went completely unused.

HARISH GI was told they had double trailers. We needed 3 storage pods and live an hour away. The day we went to get them they didn’t have one, so we had to make 3 trips. Even with that things went well.
LLOYD SI've done 3 rentals from this location over the past few months. Every single person I've dealt with has been very friendly, helpful, and informative. Truly a pleasure to deal with. The steering wheel in the truck on this rental was rotated 1/4 turn so the middle bar across the steering wheel was vertical, blocking much of the control panel.
ALISA KI rented a pickup truck online. At the time I uploaded my driver's license. The next morning, I had to upload it again. Why did I have to upload it twice? Should not have too. Also, at the time of rental at the store I had to give a second point of contact; I gave my daughter as my first. Why couldn't I do that when I was online filling out the rental form?

When I questioned the price I was told that it was a hold and would go to the original price after I returned the truck. This was not the truth and I was charged 50 dollars more then I was originally told.
